So some Imperial ships, and the missile-less armed starfighters would have been useless against the Cree'Ar invasion forces. Same goes for plantery laser emplacements, although the size of those weapon bolts may be enough to simply overwhelm the smaller ships through sheer mass of the bigger energy bolts.

What would inflict a beating on the Cree'Ar fleet are aforementioned battlestations, starships, and starfighters launching missile and torpedo volleys against the Cree'Ar ships.

What would inflict massive and dreadful losses to the Cree'Ar fleet would be the Hypervelocity cannons on Coruscant. A single shell might be enough to disable or destroy a single Parrow-Lin class battleship, and a rate of fire of about one shell per ten seconds, it's probably mostly these weapons that have carved down the parity between the Cree'Ar and Imperial forces.

The problem with that was where we jumped in in relatipon to your forces the planet. Your own ships were in the way for much of the battle, though now that you formed up to defend the corridor, firing solutions would exist.

Alright, that helps with the shieldship thing.

As for positioning, I also imagined something of a triangle, but in a bit of a different layout.

However, if you want, I can change it to have my fleet coming in slightly more to the right, putting them directly on your flank instead of behind you.

Again, as to the interdiction, I was relying on representations made by Omnae. From now on, I'll use the other form (that being massive interdiction), but can we let what has been written stand?

Yeah, I assumed that to be the corridor.

And excuse my bad drawing skills, please.

I had imagined that the Cree'Ar fleet was scattered into several different flotillas around Coruscant, hence a corridor being opened in between two of the Cree'Ar fleets and allowing the refugees to escape. Our reinforcements and Vos's fleet would be cutting off one of the Cree'Ar fleets into a pincer movement, although our reinforcements would be in danger of being pincered themselves by the other Cree'Ar fleets.

I'm ok with that, too, if Ahnk's good with it.

Come on Corise, keep up here.

You know what Ahnk, when you get to become as ancient and decrepit as me, you might see things my way. ;)
