Even if they were approved does not make it unfathomable if there is technology that can counter it already that was not taken into account.
If that is your ruling I well go with it but the information that I have found states other wise in terms of electromagnetic radiation.
And I have proven that the shields would not be circumvented becuase of the EM field aspect of ray shielding.
Microwaves could even overload a shield system if it absorbs to much. All that I am trying to do is make this tech realistic for the princibles of physics.

I have already disproved your Magnetogravitic shielding, see above...
and as Kas said, the DMB was designed and approved to penetrate shields. Though the Ray shield may have an Electromagnetic aspect, it still doesnt show how two different fields would oppose each other, or even that they would.

In addition to being inconclusive sounding mentioning that one of the two types of shields may be able to repel the microwaves. His response is inconclusive until he clarifies what he was getting at.
You disproved Kas did not say otherwise yet.

With all do respect to Vonta, real-life physics do not, and have never played a part in the Star Wars Universe. Mediclorians, for example, do not exist. Humans in our universe (as far as has been proven by physical science) cannot move objects on command.
If the Star Wars Universe was exactly the same as our own, in terms of physics, and physical characteristics it wouldn't be much fun now, would it?

"Now, particle shields could be different. I read the R&D, and this is the relevant part:
Quote:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
While widebrim angles make for weaker beam dispersal, as does small degree angle increse effectiveness of the beam, this dispersal disregards most forms of protection that dont already protect against other forms of heat radiaton, as these forms of protection (as well as fewer forms of radiation sheilding, non-ray sheilding) are already designed to prevent the effects of solar rays of a similar nature.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
I take that to mean, the widebrim angle disregards shields that are not designed to withstand solar radiation, which particle shields are designed to do... or is it Ray shields that protect from solar radiation? I don't recall whether or not shields are raised when a craft gets too close to a sun."
He then mentions that one sheild may be able to.
Hence inconclusivity as to what his full ruling in fact is.

I didnt mention particle shields for the sole reason that particle shields are designed to stop physical objects, not radiation. as its also accepted to pass through ray shielding, that leaves nothing to prevent it unless additional protection is emplaced aboard vessels to combat BDE fleets specificaly.

While we wait for Kas.
I have one more thing.
Your GHOUL.
It launches PIM missles yes?
Well you list the PIMs but when I looked it over to see how many you can launch at a time you have nothing listed. In fact you have no listed way to launch them.
There is no set launching mechanism there is no way listing how they are stored, like in a fighter bay/ cargo bay of some type, or any launch tubes, you do not even mention howmany you can deploy at once or how they are deployed.
So, in your tech. You equip your ship with the PIM type missles but not with any way to launch them.
So either you cannot launch said missiles or I missed something I looked it over several times so I am sure that I missed nothing.

Vonta, have you ever considered fighting your battles in the IC forum, where they belong?
