Crusade: Desolation of the Dragon (BDE/Almania System):OOC

I well post when I feel ready Lup. As per rules I have 72 hours to make a response. Unless you are going to bend that rule as well and make me post sooner that is...

Tech validity to the rules has everything to do with fleeting IC.

BDE builds are made after the new rules. Not Pre-kanbal.

The fact is that he broke a rule that has been enforced on some people but not on others.

BDE should have over thirty listed R&D's but becuase of the fact that he placed several techs in the same R&D he got away with R&Ding several as one tech. For several people you enforced this rule.

You certainly did on me.

Not my Modular fighter.

All the fighters had different funtions. So when I presented them as one tech I was forced to R&D them all separrately even though all of them were modifications on one technology.

Not so much different from the modified PIM missles.

Same would go for the Operation reflection. I asked for opinions on the system and how I could R&D them. But I was ignored and I had to R&D them all sepparately.

R&Ding things sepparately makes things take several times longer then they would if you bunch them up.

And for that matter BDE did not even bunch them up as different R&D's all that they did was mention them as normal systems, only canon and R&Ded tech may be used in such a way.

That is bending the rules for certain people.

This means that R&D rules are not to be followed all the time?

Or, again, just for certain people to make it harder for them to pass new techs?

There is no point to having rules if they are not equal for everyone.

"When activated the DMB's would bathe the entire ORB in its effect and protect those inside. "

This is made as a weapon to be shot from an Ion canon.

Now it can be turned into a shield?

So Now you have a shield that can destroy any type of technology.

What is the width of the Beam?

What is it's range?

How long can the beams stay activated?

Is this a weapon that Can take out entire capitol ships in one shot?

With your description of the use of a wide beam dispersal it sounds like that is the case.

Does it have limitations or can it be used continuely?

There are weapons mechanics to consider before I post again becuase how you use this in battle seems to not be reflected in your R&D

"degree to a complete wide brim angle

While widebrim angles make for weaker beam dispersal, as does small degree angle increse effectiveness of the beam,"

Degrees of damage are undefined in the R&D for different settings.

Edit:

Recorded Threat,

"Then you would rather your people suffer the wrath of the God's? Biowarefare is a horrible thing you know... "

BDE IM,

Just to be noted for the record your phage is approved but you cannot build them until twenty days have passed and if you replace any of his missile contents with a bioweapon it is inadmissable.

And who are you to dictate to me my own R&D? No its not a blaster type weapon, its an emmisions weapon, it emits its rays in an area of effect manner.

You know whay there is no listed damage? Becuase it doesnt render SBD or RU damage, it disables ships by destroying the electronics inside. Something that has to roleplayed out and not prelabled.

and for the porpouses of speeding things up Ill just tell you what Im doing, considering if I see you use this OOC knowledge immediatly in RP have the Staff roast your ass, The Reapers are covering the formation with overlaping rays as a missle/fighter protection field. If a DMB can take out a capital sized vessel then they can take out puny little fighter craft as well.

What is the width of the Beam?

What is it's range?

1. Has to Rp'd since as Ive said in the R&D it can be operated at different angles of deflection to make a wider area of effect or smaller.

2. Same as a standard turbolaser

3. Indefinantly, theres no cuase for the transmitter to overheat or power down. Its not an extreme drain on the ships power or an undue stressor to anything else.

You well need to define damage difference between lesser strength Vs. Greater strength beams.

Becuase you stated as such in your R&D.

if you know my R&D's so well then just remember when you see "wider" that means "weaker" and a smaller more defined beam is stronger. as I said though, atm the beams are overlapped to equal a medium strength beam...

But still need to define what a weaker beam is capable of vs a stronger beam IC in terms of damage. That is not clear.

roleplay and find out

And leave it for you to define with impunity.

I think not.

And if I am to accord my ships to recieve damage I need to know what the damage levels are considering they are not included in the R&D.

I am still challenging the validity of BDE R&Ds on the matter of breaking R&D rule 3 for the record as so stated in previous posts on the matter.

Thats nice, so am I gonna have to wait another 72 hours to get a reply out of you?

If you are going to be a pain about everything quite possibly.

That is my right.

you are a pain Raktus becuase you have not addressed the issue of breaking the R&D rules and you are not forthcoming with details on how your R&D's work in an IC situation, info not included in your R&D's, information I want confirmed OOC before IC battling begins.
