Exploration of Ambria (Kenshin only)

Ky-Vin was making his way up the other side of the canyon. He fold handholds and footholds that would be invisible to the average person. Ky-Vin was pleased at himself. Finally, he was getting to use the skills he had learned at the Academy.

As his boots skidded on the loose rocks, Ky-Vin pulled himself up to the next ledge. Ahead of him lie another cave. It was deeper than the last, and Ky-Vin entered it slowly.
After he got a few meters in, the light from outside could no longer reach inside, and the cave grew dark.

Ky-Vin kept going, and as he reached for his lightsaber to see ahead, the ground seemed to give way beneath his feet.
The Jedi called out in surprise, and he toppled forwards and downwards. He tumbled against rocks and bumps, but he couldn't grab anything fast enough to stop his descent.
With a 'thump', Ky-Vin landed hard.

Ky-Vin groaned as he slowly got up. He felt battered and beaten up, but nothing seemed to be broken.
"Yeah, careful as always.." Ky-Vin told the darkness around him.

Having thoroughly scoured the cave for suitable lightsaber crystals, Kenshin headed out to explore elsewhere.

Trying to adjust to the brightness of the sunlight enhanced by the countless crystal formations once again, he put up his hood. He extinguished his makeshift torch and trudged foward.

The green blade of Ky-Vin's lightsaber provided some illumination. Ky-Vin was in some kind of cramped cavern. He looked up and around at the ceilings, trying to find out how he had fallen down there.

Ky-Vin found the crevass up in the corner of the cavern, near the ceiling. The problem was, it was way above him, out of reach. He could possibly leap up there, and pull himself out of the hole. And all that in the dark. 'That would be a tricky maneuver,' Ky-Vin thought. Maybe he could manage it though. If not, he could always call Kenshin for help over his commlink.

Ky-Vin looked around, deciding to see what other options might be available to him.
That's when he noticed it. Light seemed to be coming from the corner of the dark little cave.
Expecting to find a way outside, Ky-Vin headed for it.

Instead, Ky-Vin was amazed. He had discovered a new cavern, but it was not carved of rock.
The ceilings, walls, even the floor beneath Ky-Vin's boots was a reflective surface of crystal. Huge crystals jutted from the walls and ceiling. It was like being in a room of mirrors, and Ky-Vin's eyes were wide with wonder.
He was willing to bet no one had ever seen anything like thise before.

After trudging across a considerable amount of canyon, Kenshin came to a deep fissure in the floor. As he studied it carefully, he could hear the sound of running water.

"A stream...?"

His curiousity getting the better of him, Kenshin began a cautious decent into the fissure.

Ky-Vin explored the amazing crystalline cavern he had come across by accident.

Ky-Vin could feel the Force was very strong here, amazing strong. He had never felt anything like this before..
Not knowing what else to do, Ky-Vin felt like he was being drawn to sit down.
He folded his legs beneath him, and let his hands rest on his knees. Ky-Vin closed his eyes, and with a few calm breaths, he entered a meditative trance.

After a long moment of silence, the echo of a muffled thump could be heard as Kenshin felt solid ground beneath his feet.

When he adjusted to the absence of light in the fissure, he noticed that the stream was very still; its movement a mere trickle. It also seemed to be moving on a gradual downward slope.

Feeling a strong Force presence below, Kenshin followed it and cautiously made the decent.

OOC: Where have you been? :)

IC:
Ky-Vin had completely opened himself up to the Force, he could sense everything around him. The Force seemed to be so limitless here, and that was probably because Ky-Vin could "understand" the Force more easily here..

Ky-Vin found that his senses could expand outward, farther and farther. Kenshin stood out like a sore thumb, among a few other life forms. Everything seemed to grow larger and larger, more and more connected.
Suddenly Ky-Vin realized that he could leave the present. He could look backwards, or forwards, since the Force was everywhere, and everywhen. It was not limited to the here and now, and neither was Ky-Vin.

Images and feelings suddenly flooded past his mind's eye. He could himself returning home, to the Academy. Then, something seemed to go wrong. The city was under attack, there was violence and fear. His comrades were lying there, wounded, or worse, he couldn't tell. The worst part of his vision came at the end: it looked like Master Amalia, on the ground, lifeless.

"No..NO!" Ky-Vin opened his suddenly. He was shocked, he couldn't believe what he had seen. His heart was racing. 'What if that's going to happen? What if that's what's happening right now?!' He couldn't think straight, except that he had to tell Kenshin. They had to get back to the Academy at once.

Kenshin suddenly felt a jerk in the presence he had been tracking. That was very unlikely in such a stable place as this.

Then it suddenly hit him that it was Ky-Vin. Was he in trouble?!

Kenshin cleared his mind and concentrated on finding his comrade, following the stream downward quickly but carefully.
