Wormholes are created with masses of Dark Matter, a super dense substance, with enough mass to punch a hole in space itself... It be like a compact controled blackhole with an opening on the other end.

Yeah, when they open, they punch through realspace, creating ripples of gravity outwards in every direction. Close enough, yeah, you're talking mass shadow, when it forms, and close on after.

Well, they'd been opened before we got there, so I sort of assumed we'd be close enough to put them under threat for the purpose of my post - if you want, I could edit to include a bit where we move over to the Arbiters upon arriving.

That's kind of a moot point, anyways, considering the whole point here is that the arbiters are at opposite sides of the world, meaning that the two flanking Coalition divisions are a threat to Chandaar and could theoretically cause damage to it, because they are distant from each other and would take time to reach. Kind of like what Tir did, in fact, at Tammar with the SSD.

Anyways, the tunnel thing was getting very confusing, so I thank Ahnk for his help and decision in this matter. Since the Kubaz live on a planet that is constantly bathed in radiation from solar flares, they might have increased defences or measures against radiation leaks in their city, but I'll handle that later - all in all, I might estimate the damage done by the attacks to be comparable to 9/11, except instead of hitting two big buildings rather several smaller ones, with damage spread about a bit.

In fact, now that I think about it, this entire attack bears a great deal of similarity to 9/11, especially if you include things that sort of happened by accident. I'll wait for the explosion to be edited out, then deal with the aftermath of the battle in the city (Including cleanup) and the focus will shift to the lab.

While I'm here, I'd also like to say one of the reasons I haven't spoken much about the effects of the Phage outside the lab is because - to the best of my knowledge - Heir was allowed to RP the Phage as though it were a fleet, or a character, and the spread of a disease was a battle against a conscious enemy. That's confusing enough as it is, and I didn't want to complicate things too much by getting into trouble via posting about Phage without waiting for Heir to take his turn. If this thread finishes before he comes back fully, we might as well move its' effects back to the Wicked thread.

Please tell me you did not just compare a fictional event in a Star Wars RP to the RL events of 9/11.

EDIT: And even if you did, it's the fault of your men that the dreadnought broke up and slid down the hole. If you hadn't fired upon it it probably would have moved up and out of the area after disgorging it's troops.

Kraken, for all the times you have compared Star Wars events to real battles, you have no real room to make any comments.

You remember when the Jedi Dolash and friends rescued political prisoners off of Kessel, then dropped them off in Coalition space?

Well, one of the larger overthrows the Dragons did was the fall of the Cron, whose capitol was Chandaar. I tried to get more info on that time period previous to my choice of Chandaar as a target for the attack, but it was pretty blury, and I figured you probably took some prisoners and just shipped them off somewhere.

Anyways, at the same time, the prisoners I managed to free were never heavily specified, beyond the generality of their crimes (and Kamon) so I figured - maybe some would be Chandaarians left over from the fall of that government? I admit, they weren't exactly saintly, but there was still quite a lot to explore with them, so I figured some of them might be of use. I doubt they'd have much love for the Dragons, considering what they did.

Anything beyond that will be revealed in time. I admit, for the most part this plan is drawn entirely from nebulous, unspecified margins, but it's not contradictive and certainly seems to tie together well, plus makes for an interesting story and intertwines characters and events well.

Did that thread ever finish? It was my belief it got bogged down OOC and died.
