Lavality watched the confusion, enemy soldiers running around trying to avoid being pasted by the bombardment. Although just as suddenly as it had begun, it stopped. "Hmmmm..." she said to herself and looked up at the sky. "Wonder who was firing down on us?" she asked herself and looked back at the base.
Numerious things where happening, including the movement of hover tanks and artillery. "Before we go in we probably should do something about the armor." she suggested as she watched one HT move across the wet terrain before stopping.
"Of course we could coomandeer one and pretend we are one of them to get into the base." she shrugged.

“Are main adjective is to get Miknak.” Trazu reminded her as they hid behind the low wall that surrounded the base. “To delay for any reason runs the risk of losing him again. The whole point of the frontal assault is to draw Miknak’s forces away from the base. To ‘borrow’ one of there tanks would rise suspicion when we drove it in.”
“Yet if that artillery spots us we could be in for trouble.” Asri pointed out. “One shell could….”
“I know, that’s why we have to watch ourselves from this point on.” Trazu said. For a moment they could only hide, watching the troop movements anxiously since it was too risky to move without being spotted. They knew they couldn’t stay there forever as well, for the same reason they couldn’t see about taking out any of their armor: too much delay would risk them losing Miknak.
After a moment tanks stopped coming through the gate they were close to and Trazu used the Force to check the area behind the wall. “Ok, not many troops and armor left in the base…” He said. “And I believe there’s an entrance just around the corner of the building.”
“What about static defenses: turrets and such?” Asri asked.
“I don’t see any.” Trazu replied. “Doesn’t mean there isn’t any though, so stay alert. Ready?” He looked back and saw two nods. “Go.”
He bolted low down the side of the wall, heading toward the gate.
Instinctively his hand rested on his lightsaber, knowing soon he will be using it. He paused only briefly at the gate itself, using both the Force and his natural vision to see the immediate area beyond the gate. Once it was clear he waved to the others to follow and ran in, staying low and using any cover they could find to hide from the few patrols that were left.

Lavality watched and waited for her chance before she followed Trazu into the base. they went from crate to crate to crate before getting to a set of double doors. The door's opened and several soldiers came out and made there way toward the gates, one looked tired while the others looked like they had just gotten done with breakfast.
She watched some of the soldiers, a few she had seen before aboard some of the shpis she had toured a year ago. Other's she had seen back on Tissus and even a few more back during the early days of the organization. Sheesh.... she shook her head and looked at Trazu. To bad it's impossible to tell weather they are here under there own free will, or if they are being controled... Miknak does have access to those damn organic probes that took over the crew of Shariean's command ship. she said as she waited for Trazu to make his next move.

Trazu watched the patrols carefully, looking for a pattern. Behind him he heard Asri struggling to put on her K’Zur without making too much noise. Since Asri was the tallest of the group, she had the most trouble staying hidden: in his opinion the sharp contrast between her white scales and the black armor she wore didn’t help any, but she seemed to know what she was doing.
Focusing on the task at hand once more, he studied the doorway that was just in their sight. He watched as some soldiers punched in a code on the panel beside the door and using the Force Trazu got a clear look at the combination they used. He repeated it to himself a few times to ensure he didn’t forget it.
Out of the corner of his eye he spotted a trio of what looked like maintenance workers, all sporting what looked like key cards on their persons. Getting an idea he reached out with the Force and lifted one of the key cards from one of the workers back pocket. Once it was in his hand he handed it to Lavality. “May prove useful.” He whispered to her, knowing that logically a maintenance worker would have access to more vital areas then a soldier. He resumed watching the patrol patterns. Soon he was confident he had it down and waited for the right moment, signaling to the other two to get ready to move.
When the moment came, he bolted for the door, hoping the other two were right behind him: he couldn’t risk looking back. Once he was at the door he punched in the code he had memorized: only it didn’t work. “Ferfek…” He cursed. “Must have been an individual code.” He was sure it put it in right and he didn’t want to risk punching it in again in case that would set off an alarm. They were short on time, Trazu knowing a patrol would come around at any moment….

Several second's went by before Lavality moved Trazu aside and up to teh control panel. She took out her combat knife and slide the blade into a small opening in the panel, using brute force she managed to get the panel opened. She waited a few more second's to make sure no alarm had gone off.
Her fingers moved across the panel's wiring as she replaced different connectors with other wires. Fifteen tense seconds later the door opened up with a green light on the pad to indicate that they had been given access.
She quickly put her knife away and closed the panel, then took out her gum that she had been chewing since they landed and placed the gum on the bottom where the panel connected with the unit. She waited another second to make sure the panel's opening stayed then gestured for them to get going. All the while she hadn't said a word.

Trazu gave one last look around before ducking in himself, feeling slightly annoyed that his attempt at breaking in wasn’t successful. Oh well, it was the first time I ever attempted such a thing anyway. He thought, knowing Asri and, as just proven, Lavality were more experienced in the breaking in field.
Inside the corridors were brightly lit, with red flashing alarm lights blinking at various intervals. Considering the battle outside, they were fairly certain the alarms were meant for that and not them. Besides the lights, not much activity was going on, but they knew that could change quickly.
“Now for the tricky part….” Trazu muttered to them as they cautiously moved down the corridors, looking out for soldiers or any other personnel for that matter. “Finding where Miknak is hiding in this place.”
“And if we have any hope of catching that bastard…” Asri added with a faint growl “We need to try to not draw attention to ourselves.”
“Indeed…he’ll likely try to give us the slip the moment he hears we are in here.” Trazu grumbled, then looked at Lavality. “You know him best, where would he most likely be hiding in this place?”

Lavality's eye's shift away from Trazu and toward the wall. Her memory of what had happened here was very fuzzy, she thought about it for over a minute before a blush figure appeared in front of them - it was Kasyyyk.
"The Seren's destroyed this place once before, so it's likely he is hiding down below in his laboratory again.." the spirit said in a low tone and looked behind her. "Although it seems the path hasn't changed much although I'm sure he's set up some 'gifts' for us along the way." she said this and looked down the various paths.
After a few she gestured down the northern path. "Take this path, it should lead to an elevator from there it'll take you down. Although that's to easy and probably what he expects. So perhap's an alternative route is in order." She said this without looking at Lavality who appeared to be getting more and more tired with each passing second, her face was also turning slightly pale. "That's all I can say for now.." with that Kasyyyk vanished and returend to Lavality who, upon reuniting with Kasyyyk, began to appear to look 'normal' again.
Lavality shook her head, she didn't hear a single word Kasyyyk said. In fact, to her it sounded like Kasyyyk was speaking Dosh. She knew that her spirit companion was hiding something but she wasn't sure what. "If he knows we are here, then perhaps he'll be under ground." She said, although she was technically repeating what Kasyyyk said.
Inside Lavality's mind Kasyyyk was shaking her head back and forth and speaking to herself. The longer we stay here, the higher the likely hood that Lavality will go nuts on us from the lack of information. Kasyyyk said to herself as she continued to look through Lavality's eyes. She already knows she's not normal and hopefully Miknak won't try to pull that type of stunt, but if he does I can always force change his language so she doesn't understand. she said and looked to her side. A faint image of a little girl laying in a test tube came back to her from the haunted days of seven years ago.
What he did to her was unforgivable, if I still had my body then I'd strike him down, despite the Jedi Code forbidding it. with that said she let out a deep sigh and just looked at the ground. It's only a matter of time. she said and then saw Lavality move.
"Let's get going.. the longer we stay here the more likely we'll be discovered." Lavality said and got up.

Trazu looked at Lavality with a bit of concern, not missing the significance of how her health seemed to decay the longer the spirit wasn’t present in her. It was curious as well that the spirit spoke in Dosh, preventing Lavality from understanding what she had said. It didn’t sound like anything that would have been traumatizing to her. He thought. No time to try to figure it out now though.
Using the Force he mapped out the complex immediately around them. He found the elevator the spirit spoke of, but knew Miknak would have trapped it. So he looked for another means of getting down. He found one: a stairway.
“Looks like there is a stairway leading down close to the elevator.” He said. “We should make for that. Don’t know how far down they go though.”
“Wouldn’t the elevator get us there faster?” Asri asked.
“Yes, but if Miknak booby trapped we would have no way to escape it. Stairs would be safer.”
“Good point.”

Lavality merely nodded and made her way toward the stairs, she opened the door and listened... the only thing she could hear was the slit 'hum' of a reactor somewhere in the building, and of course the ever loud alarms that where going off due to the battle outside.
She made her way into the stairs and unclipped her katana and slowly went down each step. She kept her ear open and kept listening but strangely couldn't hear a thing, perhaps it was because they had already gone down a few flights but still she should've been able to hear the alarms. "Something's strange.." she finally said and stopped. "Even though we are now several feet below the top.. we should still be able to hear the alarms." she said to Trazu and Asri

“Not necessarily.” Trazu muttered. “If the rest of the base is only ground level and above the ground itself would help muffle the sounds of the alarm.”
“Still, sound doesn’t seem to echo very well in here.” Asri pointed out.
“They must have used some kind of special alloys that absorb sound for this stairway.”
“Hmm….” His face creased with concern, Trazu tapped into the Force to look below them. He could only look down about three levels, so at first he saw nothing out of the ordinary. But then he saw a group of figures ascending the stairs, all armed from what he could tell and in a hurry. “We got company heading our way.” He said quietly, unhooking his saber. “Three levels down and approaching fast.”
“We do? Well that confirms my theory….we should have heard them coming some time ago.” Asri growled softly, flexing the fingers of her K’Zur eagerly.
