Lavality's hands flexed a bit as the sounds got closer, the soldiers stopped just below them.
"Do you think he's right?" One of the soldiers asked as he placed his hand on a touch pad and a door opened.
"Well he did tell us to search all ten undergound levels." Another said
"We have six more to go then." The last soldier said before they disappeared into a side hallway.
Lavality sighed in relief. "Looks like they'll be going elsewhere..
Kasyyyk rubbed her chin as she watched what was going on. Strange... those tunnels weren't there before. I guess Miknaks been upgrading his base lately.
"Come on we should get going.." Lavality said as she took a step, but she failed to notice a very thin right light that was level with the ground.
On the bottom floor a light flashed and bathed the large chaseim in a red hue. "Hmmm.... so they are near...." a deep voice spoke with a grin.

The group started heading down again at a quick pace, but still wary of any possible traps Miknak may have waiting for them. They reached the bottom level with no trouble and now faced a door with a rather sophisticated control panel: it didn’t just have a keypad, but a hand scanner and what looked like a retinal scanner as well.
“Well.” Trazu muttered softly. “I don’t think that keycard I pickpocketed earlier will work here.”
“Miknak obviously only wants himself to have access here.” Asri muttered.
“I can pick simple locks, but this is way beyond my means.” She looked at Lavality. “Think you can do the same with this as you did with the one topside?”
Before Lavality could reply a hidden door opened off to one side and some rather nasty looking battle droids came running out, their weapons primed.
“Kazuk.” Trazu growled, igniting his lightsaber. “Guess he knows we are here. I’ll keep them busy.” No sooner he finished saying that the droids started firing and Trazu had his work cut out for him just to block all the laser fire.

Lavality's nodded and took off through the near by door that had just opened, no sooner had she and Asri gone through had the door closed on them. "Damn!" Lavality said and seached the door for a switch. "Ok... no way out." she said and heard a beeping sound, she turned her head to see four droids slowly moving toward them.
She uncliped her katana and readied it for action, of course that only lasted a second before a blaster beam slammed into her wrist and flinged the Katana off her hand. She grunted in pain and grabbed her wrist and stared harshly at the droids.

Kazuk…that can’t be good. Trazu thought as he watched helplessly as the door the droids came out of closed behind the two women. Little he could do about it right now though, not with four battle droids using him as target practice: it was taking all his sword skills to block and reflect the blaster fire.
Calling upon the Force he shoved one droid against the wall, causing it to bounce off the wall and fall to the floor. This didn’t damage it much, but it lessened the incoming fire enough for him to go on the offensive. With a battle cry he rushed the droids, lopping off the firing arm and head of one and cutting another in half. By then the fallen one had risen to it’s feet and was firing upon him again. No matter, with only two left finishing them off will be easy….
~~~
Asri hissed in fury and rushed the droids, a mother’s anger clouding a bit of her judgment. Not much else she could do though, since she had no blaster and didn’t know how to use a lightsaber: her K’Zur were all she had. Still, the sheer ferocity of her attack turned out to be rather effective. Her blades may not be able to penetrate their armor, but they can wreck havoc on exposed wiring and weaker materials.
Her mind may be clouded by fury, but her assassin training kicked into high gear and her strikes were all precise. Two of the droids found several essential pieces of wire and tubing severed in several places. Sparks and oil were flying and at one point one of the droids burst into flame and it started to flail almost human-like in panic.
By this point Asri was getting back some conscious control as she sized up the two remaining fully functional droids. “Lightsabers or the Force would do better against these things dear.” She said to Lavality as she prepared to rush in again.
Lavality rubbed her wrist. "Yea... well," she said as she ignored the pain, "I can't exactly help you there." she stood up and looked around before finding conduit that ran the length of the corridor.
Wire's from the conduit ran into the wall at one point, then out of another point and spread across the floor over to what appeared to be an old power box. "Think you can hit that? Considering there is some water on the ground where those droids are?" she gestured as the water that was spreading across the ground from a leaky pipe.
The droids were finished off and Trazu panted heavily from exhaustion: long fights were never his strong point, Force Sensitive or otherwise. When he had gotten his breath back somewhat, he inspected the doorway Lavality and Asri had went through. To his dismay he found no way to open it and cutting through the door itself with his saber would take too long. So instead he turned toward the heavily secured door, figuring he would have better chance at it then the droid one. He was no hacker, so he would have to use physical force, or in this case, the Force.
He was just about to get to work when he heard something above him. Looking up he saw to his dismay the group of soldiers they had eluded before staring down back at him, before they opened up. Oh give me a break! Trazu thought as he again ignited his saber.
Oh well, they would be easier to take out then more droids would have been….
The white Trandoshan was at first dubious about Lavality’s plan, but then realized it could work. The floor they were on was metal, but the floor the droids were currently standing on looked to be rock. Asri knew she had to act quickly, for the water would eventually come into contract with the metal floor: she really didn’t want to find out how the nanos would react to a massive shock.
She dashed forward again, zig zagging to keep the droids from being able to target her accurately. When she was close enough she jumped and pushed off one of the walls, sending her sailing over the droids. Quickly, before the droids could turn around to get her into their sights again, she rushed the short distance to where the wiring was in contact with the water. With a quick slash she severed the wiring and jumped back, the slight jolt she got despite her speed assisting with that.
The droids started sparking and popping from the sudden surge of electricity, before finally falling over. Asri barely saw the show due to her senses being briefly messed up from the jolt. After a moment everything was back to normal and she used the control box to shut off the electricity so Lavality could reach her.
“Ok, mental note…electricity and nanotech don’t mesh too well.” Asri muttered as Lavality joined her. “Is it me…or where those droids not nearly as aggressive as the ones Trazu was fighting?”
Lavality couldn't help but giggle a bit at Asri's comment, then she heard Asri's question. "I don't know, I don't work with droids but you are right, they didn't seem as aggressive." She said and walked past Asri and toward the door. She placed her hand on the the door it suddenly opened to reveal a large chasim. It's wall's glittered with a strange crystal substance.
"ok..." Lavality said and looked up the walls. "You think... he's here?" she asked Asri
All the guards were dead now, most of them missing their head. Taking a precious moment to catch his breath, he assessed the big door before him, wondering how to get through it. A quick check using the Force and he determined it would have been too difficult to force it open with his limited telekinesis abilities: the doors were too well reinforced against such a tactic. It’s like he was expecting a Force related assault. He thought. He had to think of another way to get in, but perhaps the answer was laying at his feet, if not in pieces.
Trazu felt one of the guards looked familiar and upon closer inspection of the head it clicked: this was the guard he memorized the pin code from outside. What are the chances… Trazu thought with a chuckle. He now had the pin code and the head for the retinal scanner, but now he had to figure out which body belonged to the head.
I hate jigsaw puzzles….
Asri looked around at the walls of the chamber warily. She didn’t like this, not one bit. Miknak had something in store for them both and considering how easily he took out Lavality last time she feared for the girl. On top of that, Miknak suggested he could do the same to her. It was all clear now: Trazu was the only one out of their little group that Miknak wouldn’t have any possible control over directly, so he had to force them to get separated from him. Asri could only hope that Trazu gets past all the obstacles Miknak puts in front of him and makes it to them in time, or that Miknak was wrong about being able to control her.
“He’s here…and expecting us…” She muttered softly. “He wanted us to make it here.” To Asri it made sense: why else would the droids they just took out wouldn’t be as aggressive as the ones Trazu held off? “And keep Trazu busy…”
Lavality didn't like that at all, but she had to consider it. "And here I was hoping he was just a dumb ass with a grudge against my family." she said as she walked toward the middle of the chasim.
"Welcome... welcome..." a voice suddenly boomed around them. "I see the little girl finally found her way home."
Lavality's eye's darted from corner to corner, she couldn't sense him and she couldn't see him. "Show yourself coward." Lavality said.
Out of the corner of her eye a figure appeared. "Show myself?" he said and walked toward the center of the chasim. "Now you see me." he said and then vanished, only to reappear right in front of her, causing her to jump backwards. When she landed she landed on a rock which caused her to trip and fall backwards onto the ground. She snarled and looked at him.
"Don't tell me you don't remember?" he said and Lavality blinked. "Remember?" she said curiously. "I remember your ugly mug." she grinned and got up onto her feet. "How crude... not humerious at all."
The image was on a droid that was walking across the floor. The droid made a ring around Lavality and Asri. "Ahhh... you..." the image said as he stared at Asri. "I have to thank you." he said and Lavality's suddenly got suspious.
He managed to figure out which body belonged to the head and now came the really tricky part. Using the Force he propped the body up so it’s hand could easily reach the hand scanner. Holding the head with one hand he typed in the code he memorized with this free hand. The keypad beeped and a bar on a small screen flashed green in acceptance. A bar below that one flashed red letters asking for a hand print. Trazu lifted one of the bodies hands and put it on the scanner and again he got a confirmation beep: the bar with red letters turning into a flashing green bar. Now the last bar asked for the retinal scan: this would be the trickiest part. Carefully he positioned the head to where he thought it should be, making sure the eye was open and hadn’t rolled back into it’s socket. Luck was on his side: the scanner beeped again and the last bar turned green. When the door opened however he wished he had just cut through the droid door.
Just on the other side was a huge spider droid, brisling with laser blasters and sharp looking instruments. A light on the droid turned on as it activated and lunged for him.
If those girls haven’t killed that bastard by the time I get to them I’m going to insist on killing him myself! Trazu thought with a growl as he dove out of the droids way.
“’Thank me?’” Asri snarled as she glared at the hologram, her claws flexing. She wasn’t quite certain what he was referring to: enabling him to get her DNA all those years ago or bringing Lavality here. “I believe you should be thanking my father, not me, or perhaps my sister Kosi who gave my father reason to sell me to that lab. But alas they are both dead, so you’d have to go see them in hell to thank them, which you will be going to shortly. If you mean bringing her here, well…she wanted to come here to kill you personally and I was just helping her to that goal.” She leaned forward so that her face was inches away from the hologram.
“You are the most cowardly T’Doshok I have ever met.” She growled. “Using a hologram to talk to us then rather growing a pair and confronting us in person.” Suddenly she lunged forward and downward, her K’Zur skewering the droid with a shower of sparks. The hologram flickered briefly before disappearing completely. “Come out and face us yourself you coward!” Asri screamed as she yanked her weapon out of the droids destroyed body.
