Lavality flashed the shuttle's under carriage lights at the approuching craft then spun the shuttle around. She pointed toward the outskirts of the system, before long the three ships had jumped into hyperspace.

The trip would only take a few minutes as the command ship had come closer to Kashyyyk to make the travel time shorter. Upon coming out of hyper-space the command ship immidently pointed it's main gun's at the two fighters that where flying along side the shuttle, but then turned away a second later, obviously it's gunner's had been given the word.

"We'll be landing onboard the command ship, from there you'll be ferried to the marine transports." Lavality said over the comm. "You'll have free reign to choose who your second in commands will be, of course you don't have to have a second in command, but it does make thing's eaiser on the fly boys." she smiled slightly as the shuttle cleared one of the gravity boey's that had been ejected from the command ship. These boey's attracted missile's and torpedo's toward them instead of the ship in question.

When the shuttle entered the hanger bay it's door closed and oxygen filled the bay. "This is a very old design." Lavality said as the shuttle touched down, "That's why I'm trying to contract with the Coalition for resource's to complete the new design." she said this to Trazu and Asri as she walked out of the cockpit, she stopped briefly. "Whatever it is you wanted to discuss." she said in a low tone that only Asri could hear. "It will have to wait, because right now all my focus will need to stay on this if we are to win." a grin formed on her face as she walked off the shuttle.

Asri sighed in disappointment and evident worry, but nodded in acknowledgement. "As you wish Lavality." She said softly. "I'd rather not wait, but it is your choice."

The pair watched as the warriors disembarked and were directed to the briefing room to be informed on the terran, opponent strength, etc before being shipped off to their units. Tiskus he imagined would be assigned to a more heavily armed unit, considering he's virtually a tank.

Shortly after they where in a different briefing room, Trazu studing the maps of the terrian around the base and Miknak's defences. "Looks like he has the lease forces here." He said, pointing at a region to the south of the base itself. "Probably due to the rough terrian, but no doubt he'll have some kind of patrols going on there."

"How will we land there?" Asri asked. "Doesn't look like good landing terrian and any potential landing spots are likely guarded."

Lavality ran her hand through her hair. "Well, we could take the marine shuttle's in and drop pod our way through, it would be a bumpy ride but perhaps the only way in." she said this as one of her officers handed her a data-pad, she looked it over and, for a fraction of a second, her eye rose just a tiny bit before returning to normal. "I see... thank you." she said and handed the pad back to the officer, who saluted and left.

"Miknak is obviously thinking we'll try a head on attack, so how about we come in from behind." she said and marked an area of the map that is likely the eaisest way. "The terran's slightly unfriendly, but it'll provide us concealment until we can get to the base's entrance. From there we can go to town on the guards and hopefully get in before Miknak realize's he's lost is rear defense." she said and continued to stare at the map.

"Unless these drop pods have stealth abilities, Miknak will know we are there." Trazu pointed out. "Thus the whole point of using stealth ships to try to sneak around behind his defenses. Remember Lavality that the point of the frontal assault from your troops is to draw away his forces from our own point of entry."

"We need to be as stealthly as assassins." Asri said softly. "If we get discovered too soon our mission has the high chance of failure."

Trazu nodded in agreement with Asri. "Drop pods would be too noticable."

"Noticable under normal weather condition's yes..." she said and updated the holographic map that was displayed in the center of the briefing room. It now showed clouds that covered the vast majority of what would become the battle field. "While this provide's us with excellent stealth, it'll also provide our frontal assault groups with a tricky dilema." she said and stared at the map.

She thought it over for just a second. "We could also use the drop pods as decoy's as well, drop them to the south west and south east of the base, empty. And have the main force attack from the south, this'll give the illusion that we are dropping far more than we actually are." Lavality said as she continued to scrutinize the map.

"although.... we do only have a limited window, our analyst's predict this storm will be over in nine hours, which mean's we should probably get going right now." She said and looked toward the door then back at the others.

Trazu thought that over a bit. "Alright." He said. "The question for us is this: how long should we delay our own entry to give the frontal assault the time they need to draw the attention of the northern forces? Wouldn't do us any good to drop at the same time as the rest and end up in the middle of an enemy army."

"If we only have nine hours and godness knows how long it will take to draw the attention of the fleet in orbit, we probably can't afford to wait too long." Asri said. "Especially if we are relying on nature itself to provide us with the cover we need to not just get blown out of the sky."

"Hense why I insisted on the stealth ships before." Trazu muttered. "Which Vice Admiral Tiosk suggested as well."

Lavality nodded. "And I was in agreement with him at the time, but cloaking generators don't work to well when it's raining and telling by what our recon groups have already told us it IS raining pretty much hard out there." she sighed as she continued to think up of idea's on how to get in. That's when she noticed a small cave located not far from where they would be landing. "What about here?" she gestured to the cave.

"It looks like it might be an area we can either hide in, or perhaps it's an area that leads into his base. Either way, it's not far from where we would be dropping down," Lavality said

Trazu looked at the cave on the map, a faint frown on his face. "To hide in should Miknak's forces be too close yes, unless he has defenses in there already." He said. "I doubt we would be so lucky that the cave leads right into his base and if it did, he no doubt thought of it and have some kind of defenses in there."

"We won't know for certain until we are at the site." Asri added.

"And even then, I my can push my Force vision only so far ahead to map an area before I start getting fatiqued." Trazu said then added with a faint growl. "There's too many 'ifs' with this mission."

"Aren't there always?" Asri said. "Lets worry about getting on the ground first, then see about getting in. No point in planning what to do on the ground if we can't ensure a landing spot first."

"It's still a good idea to have some idea of what we are going to do." Trazu countered. "It's not good to go in completely blind."

There was a moment of silence before Asri spoke again. "Looks like there is a valley here." She pointed at a spot to the east of the base, not far from their decided drop point. Trazu studied it a moment.

"Yes." He agreed. "Looks like it runs parallel to the base though, so we would have to cross over some heavy terrain to get to it."

"My point is that there could be an entrance there." Asri said. "It's a bit out of the way, with lots of cover: perfect place to have a 'backdoor' for a slippery bastard like Miknak."

Lavality stared at the holographic image and nodded. "It's possible, considering he had a backdoor back on Nar Shaada." she said and looked at the two. "Shall we get going then? The longer we wait, the more likely he'll figure out our attack plans." she said and waited for there answer.

"Yes lets." Trazu said with a nod. "We can discuss fine details on the way."

As they headed for the hanger, they chanced upon a look at Tiskus. Someone had the idea to outfit him with armor.

"That man is hard to take out before...it will be next to impossible now." Trazu said with a chuckle, Asri giggling beside him.
