The small ship's engines gave a final explosion, and then the lights in the cockpit went out completely. The force of the blow pushed my head forward in the seat, and I smashed the side of my head off the control panel. I took a quick second to wipe my brow. Looking down at my hand, I saw a red smear.
Blood, great!
I let the bitter thought leave my mind as I tried to figure out what I was going to do on a stolen craft this far from any civilization. The communications array was damaged beyond repair and there was nothing on the ship that could act as a back up. There were no escape pods to speak of and the rations weren't looking that good, either. All in all, this was a horribly, hopeless situation.
Fumbling in the dark, my fingers happened upon my lightsaber. It wouldn't do me any good, the blade of this one didn't give off any light, it was just like a mirror. There was hope in finding it in the dark, though. I had not known it was there, yet, maybe my connection with it had made it possible.
Maybe, just maybe...
There was only one person in the entire galaxy that I could think that I would ever have such a strong emotional connection with. I fell in the Force, using it to calm my pacing heart and my jumping nerves, and then looked deep within myself to contact my Master...
Well, Kam, it seems that I need your help once again.

Kamon sat up in his bed with a start. It was night on Tholatin and Kamon had been asleep. The call from beyond that he received had awoken him from a very deep sleep. He looked around as if the person was right in front of him. Kamon was connected to the person and could see blackness. He could also see the maw.
"Sithspawn."
He jumped out of bed and pulled on his clothing as fast as possible. Calling on his comlink, he ordered the Republic's fastest ship at Tholatin prepared for flight. He clipped his lightsabers to his belt before running out of the still dark room. The sounds of clamoring feet could be heard throughout the castle as people were awaken for the flight.
Kamon himself was the last to make it to the hangar bay and just hopped onto the last shuttle. It took off and they shot into the night sky of the practically empty spacelane. Breaching atmosphere, Kamon sat back to wait for them to reach the ship that was waiting out near the edge of the system. The made it to it and docked with it.
Kamon jumped into the Corvette and headed for the bridge. There he sat down and nodded to the Captain. The captain nodded in return. The shuttle that Kamon had come on was pulling away as the ship moved to jump. They jumped and Kamon hoped it was a fast trip.
I'm coming Jace.

The darkness was starting to get to me, dispite my Jedi training, and I was starting to get more then a little bit hungry. I had gone through the rations, not that I had packed many when I had stolen the ship. The computer informed me, as well, that the life support systems weren't going to hold out much longer. All in all, it was the most dishonourable, and unnotable way to die. I sat there, waiting.
What am I waiting for? Nothing! I don't even know if Kamon will be able to get here in time. I am in the middle of bloody nowhere, and I couldn't even tell him where I was with the Force, because I don't even know!
Shut up! Of course Kamon will find you! He is a Force master, there isn't much he can't do and you are his apprentice.
I hope you're right, Organa, I hope you're right.

Kamon moved around in his chair. If he was right they only had a little bit of time left. Kamon cursed and drew on the Force. He pumped it into the hyperdrive in an attempt to make it go faster.
"Come on, come on."
They started to move a bit faster but Kamon feared it wasn't fast enough. When they finally did come out of hyperspace, he scanned the area for Jace's force signature. When he found it he jumped up and pointed it out to the Captain.
"There. Over there!"
The ship accelerated and Kamon Jumped down the stairs and headed for the hatch where the crippled ship Jace was in would dock. He hopped around on his feet. He could feel Jace slipping out of consciousness.
Hold on, Jace! I'm coming.

I coughed as I spilled out onto the floor of Kamon's ship. Of course, I didn't know that it was his that saved me. I was far too out of it to know anything that was going on. I coughed again, rattling my ribs, and I fell onto the floor, eyes squeezed shut. Sweat poured off me from being cramped into the small ship for so long. I took a long, haggered breath and coughed one last time, this time summoning blood from my lung onto the back of my hand.
I shook my head, and looked around, but the lights blinded my vision. I knew that I was intoxicated, drunk. It had given me the courage to steal the ship from the thugs that had owned it. The cut on myhead pounded against my skull, and I tried to sit up, but ended up on my back on the cold floor, looking at the blinding lights on the ceiling of the Docking Bay.
I guess it isn't going to end as quickly as I thought.

Kamon grabbed Jace under his arms and motioned for one of the techs to grab his feet. Both of them knew that they had to get Jace to the infirmary as soon as possible. Kamon could see Jace was drunk but he knew there was something else wrong with him.
They laid him down on the table and the meds immediately prepared Jace for a bacta dip. Kamon watched on with anticipation. Jace was like a son to him, even though he already had one. No way he was going to let Jace die.
The meds put Jace in the bacta and closed the hatch. Kamon began to pace the room. He knew it would take a while before Jace was out but he didn't care. Jace was his friend. He'd stay there for the rest of the trip if he had too. The corvette turned and jumped to hyperspace as Kamon paced the floor.
Don't you die on me, Jace.

Swimming in the oceans off the Mon Calamari bases in the warm tropic weather as a child. Diving with Danni Quee into the colourful reefs that were scattered all over the planet like a large living mosaic. The luke warm water washed over my skin as I dove deeper into the darkness of the ocean. I tried to swim further, but found myself restricted, unable to dive deeper. I pulled, but couldn't move. My eyes snapped open.
Bacta surrounded me, not the salty waters that I had first thought. I was not on Mon Cal, but a ship. And judging from the person in front of me, pacing back and forth, it was a place that could either be santuary, or hell. This was most definately going to be an interesting meeting. I lifted my arm through the thick bacta, and pressed the alarm, draining it out of the tank.
I stood there, in the medical shorts, covered in bacta. I stared at Kamon, and didn't make a move.

Kamon looked around for the source of the alarm before focusing his eyes on Jace. A small smile touched his lips as he looked at the younger man. It had been ages since the two had seen each other.
"Don't just stand there. Come out."
Kamon waved the techs over to get Jace out as he stood off to the side waiting. He nervously rung his hands as the techs helped Jace out. Tossing the man a towel Kamon walked over.
"Long time no see."

I took the towel, and I dried off as best I could and then wrapped the towel around my shoulders, and walked towards Kamon. It had been so long, so many things had changed. There was nothing in the galaxy that I wouldn't give to have gone back to the way it was; for it to be the same; for me to have not left. I knew that there was nothing that could do that. There was no magical potions, no Force tricks that could change time.
"Yes, it has been."
I didn't know what else to say. I had had things planned out in my mind for months. I had gone over so many situtations in my mind, and had planned the perfect speech for each one, but now, standing here in front of him, I was at a complete loss for words. I felt like an infant.

Kamon could see that Jace was having a hard time thinking of what to say and knew that it was understandable. Jace had been gone for some time and had been recently injured. Anyone would have had the same problem. He didn't mind, was just glad Jace was back.
"I've missed not having you around. You missed my wedding."
Kamon walked Jace over to a curtained off area and pushing him inside. A fresh change of clothes and some other things, inlcuding his lightsaber, waited inside for him. kamon sat on a bench to wait for his padawan and friend to get dressed.
