"I can induce you to sleep if you want."

He was standing in the door way still. Her daughter was still worn out and the effects of her wounds were still there. Those two needed to work on their relationship. Maybe he could help with that.

"No, its okay. These pills can make me sleep for days at a time. Or, nights rather. But sometimes I force myself to wake up, and thats when Im really busy.

Maybe I should take a few nights sleep."

The curtains to her viewport were on and it looked like the sky was getting brighter. But even as sunlight flowed into her quarters, she would be safe.

A friend of her had developed a new type of window just for her, another vampyre friend of hers, one who turned her. These windows would keep the heat of the suns rays from harming a vampyres body, all the while letting sunlight into the space where the window is.

Kamon nodded.

"Alright. I'm going to go check on your daughter."

He started to walk out the door.

"Good night."

He walked down the hall to the cot where she was laying. It seemed she was asleep but he wasn't sure. Sitting in a chair across from her, he watched her rest. The young lady was still really red where her mother had beaten her up.

She was already falling asleep and mumbles to him as he leaves.

"Good night."

She then falls into a peacful, dreamless sleep.

Kamon watched Amethyst stir and turn over to face him. Her eyes began to flutter open as he watched her. Standing, he moved his seat over closer to her and looked at her.

"How do you feel?"

Ame tries to sit up, only to grimace in pain and lays back down.

"Sore. Did she break anything?"

What really hurt was her back, and that was from getting slammed against th huge boulder. It felt like her mother had broken something in back with that attack.

"My back hurts worst of all."

"She fractured your shoulder blade."

He stood and went over to her. Putting his hand lightly on her back, he pushed some of the force into her until he could feel it begin to heal her, then he stepped back. Sitting back down he looked at her.

"You two have a terrible relationship."

"Yeah, well, she shouldnt have killed Father, now should she?"

It was true, no matter how many times Jade has to tell her that is was Drako's choice, her father's, to do what he did, she would always blame her mother for it, not her father.

She just couldnt except the fact that her father wanted to kill himself like he did.

"Are you always going to hate her because your father made a choice?"

He looked into her eyes.

"Listen to me. Your mother should be the most important person in the galaxy to you. She's your mother. I lost my parent's because my brother killed them and I miss them everyday. Don't let what your father did come between you two."

"The most important person to me is dead. If it wasnt for mother, I wouldnt be a Daemun right now. Did she tell you that story?

She was a Dark Jedi, and dying from some terminal illness. If she didnt die while delivering me, we both would have died before that. Father was a Daemun and transformed her into one. And since she was still carrying me, I was born a full blooded Daemun, where she was merely changed into one.

Having done so saved my life. And hers. But I know she did it for herself, only so she could persuade Father to make the choice he did.

That is why I hate her. And that is why I always will. And as far as Im concernd, shes dead to me too."
