My, that is convienient. I find it funny how you continue to bend, or completely erase history to suit your own needs. I suppose that the whole thing in The Hand of Thrawn books never happened either?
Bastion is hidden... I don't even know why you kids are debating it. It's a non-issue. It's been hidden since before anyone involved in this thread, myself included, came to TRF or TGC.
Every group on TRF has @#%$ with history. TJE made their homeworld Despayre. Leia erased her own character's history. The fact is that the timeline that started on TGC and continues on TRF has been around longer than a lot of the fiction you guys are talking about. So yeah, some liberties have been taken with it.
The thing is though, it's not realistic that we would leave our hidden planet's co-ordinates on a planet that doesn't produce ships. If you want to find Haven, think up a good reason on how you found it. Then be content that we won't just make something up, we will think up a good reason on how we will find your hidden planets.
Whether one planet can be found easier than another is immaterial. It all depends on how it is hidden, how skilled those doing the hiding are, and how skilled those doing the finding are.
You guys who hold up Princess Leia doing something on 3nd paragraph of page 113 in Book #23 need to cut the umbilical and start thinking. TRF's history supplants NJO history. Personally, I think it supplants it just after Thrawn...but that's just me.
In any event, back to the point, Drayson: If a planet is hidden, it stands to reason it is treated as hidden within their own faction. The Empire keeps Bastion hidden in much the same way.
Personally, I don't like the "lucky stumble" routine and I do think you need to expound more in your post rather than:
"Sir, I think we found something!"
"What?"
"A hidden world. Their planetary defense roster and when they do maintenance on the shield generator and plantary batteries."
"When will it be off?"
"When we attack!"
"Excellent, send for my ship at once!"
heh heh.. ok.. I went a little Jan and Marthish there but you get the point?

Now, with regards to hidden planets, I thought we had agreed to have only 1 per faction. That being the case, I really don't mind a faction having 3 "hidden" planets. But realize that only 1 of those 3 will really be hard to find.
So TGC needs to figure out which of their hidden planets is going to require a great amount of effort (as will any faction with multiple hidden planets).
