Okay, here's how I feel.

We don't bean count any more. We don't build ships. We don't compete. We should be focusing on writitng stories, not about who has more of what and how long it took them to get it. If you guys aren't with that, and have no interest in stories and would rather argue about numbers and figures, please feel free to do so on AIM. TRF has tried to move away from "Mine's Bigger!" as much as possible, but evidently some people still have not gotten the memo. I understand that this board is never going to be an environment which I find stimulating ever again, but the least I can ask is that the bullshit of who built what and when of the past stays in the past. I can't speak for the rest of the staff (even though I think most of them feel the same), but this kind of bullshit is just really, really fucking boring, and the "my ship to Corellia... CHECK MATE BITCH" style of roleplaying is just really, really old. If that's what gets you off then hey, more power to you, but if you guys insists on arguing about it, I'm pretty sure that things like the R&D foruma nd the planets list and threads with p-lanet names in them could all be done away with.
