Alair reeled back from the table a little, surprise creasing at her facial features.
"I... I'm sorry," she said softly, a little embarrassed.
"It's just that I've never seen anyone do that before."
One would think with Alair being the wondering type, she would have seen a Jedi or two on her travels. However, the woman didn't have much contact with others usually.

Kenshin had to surpress a chuckle when he saw her surprised expression.
"It's okay. Actually, I'm sorry. I should've expected a reaction like that. I keep forgetting it's not an everyday event that someone levitates a glass.
Well, if you haven't guessed yet, I'm from the Jedi Academy in Theed. That's the closest to something I'd call home base."

"Oh," she said rather softly, still in awe over what he had just done.
She had caught an interest in him somewhat already, but Alair had slight interest in his gifts as well. The gifts only seemed to add to the mystery of this wanderer known as Kenshin.
She felt inclined to ask him how he had done such a wonderful trick, but she knew how eager he was to be on his way.
"Will I see you again?"

"Do you want to see me again? I suppose if I try hard enough I'll find you. But do you want to be found?"
Kenshin offered her a slight grin to counter the curious gaze she gave him.

"Yes, to both questions."
She paused, musing over a thought. She tilted her head to the right, proping her hand underneath her chin as she looked over at him with a slightly lofted brow.
"Who says that I can't find you, Katarn?"
She smiled a little.
"Good luck with the rest of your journey."

Kenshin chuckled at her response.
"Alright then. We'll meet again. I suppose I can promise you that much. Besides, I still owe you."
Grinning, he slowly got up and pushed his chair in.
"Thanks for your good wishes."
With a soft smile and a slight wave, the Jedi Wanderer exited the scene.
