She raised an eyebrow questioningly.

" You're not... And what makes you think I won't try again to kill you?"

The slight chuckle that escaped his lips was just enough to break the tension in the room.

"You never could Korosu, and you owe me anyway."

She echoed his soft chuckle and shook her head. " Look, I'm really sorry I got you into this mess, but I didn't have much of a choice."

Kami motioned to the room. " You can sleep here, gods know I've slept in the cockpit before. Still, I'm going to see what I can do about some of these systems I've got in place. Maybe I'll luck out and won't have to deal with Nom Dar."

She stepped out into the corridor, passing by the blaster on the floor. She looked at it a moment before scooping it up in her hand and turning back into the room. Placing it back on the wall she offered Dak a small smile before closing the hatch on her way out again.

He plopped back on the bunk as she left, chuckling slightly as she returned the blaster to its position on the wall.

"Tag me if you need to sleep, i'm not too worried about where i crash..."

She was halfway down the outer corridor as he finished speaking, causing Dakkon to shrug before he closed his eyes, drifting into a deep and full sleep.

For more hours than she was aware of, Kami scowered through her old schematics from when she first started to modify the God Killer. Unfortunately, she one never one for paper work and had only kept partial records on the work she had actually done to it. There was mention of the modificatoins to the engines, but otherwise she had no idea how she was going to bypass the defensive systems to take the hyperdrive engines off line.

She finally fell asleep in the cramped chair in the cockpit, plans strewn out through the compartment, the nightmares Dak had reawakened pushing through her subconscious and plaguing her fitfull sleep.
