"Anything that doesn't involve you drowning your sorrows in alcoholic beverages."
He swiveled in his seat to face her.
"Perhaps talking about it would help."

"Pfft. Yeah, sure, talking about it. Talking about it only makes me more upset about this whole thing than I already am."
She was walking back to her quarters to dress for they, and for some odd reason, used the hidden doorway behind the bar, exactly where the mirrored wall is.

He blinked.
"You really have an interesting ship."
He watched her walk throughn to the other room but remained in his seat. Calling down to her, he said the same thing, pretty much, that he had already said.
"Sometimes being upset is the only way to get over something. I think you should talk."

Jade comes back out dressed in one of her old Sith fighting suits with a bag full of weapons slung over her left shoulder.
She walks out the bar and past Kamon, down a long flight of stairs, around a corner, down a hall, and into a private training room that is padded everywhere in material so as not to cause electrical or other damage to her ship.
"Yeah, well, I found other ways to deal with it."

This time he did follow her.
"But are those ways helping or hurting?"
He stood in the entrance watching her.
"You can't push them aside forever. They'll always come back to haunt you."

Jade hisses loudly, her fangs coming down and dripping saliva, then she closes her mouth, her fangs poking her lower lip a bit.
"My past always comes back to haunt me. Alw[/i] Everytime I get married, I have children, then something happens and I lose my husband and everything I ever worked hard for, in just one fell swope. I thought Raktus would have been different, but he proved to be just like the others."
She reaches in the bag and pulls out her most prized weapon, her katana named ShadowBlade. It had been given to her right after she delivered Angelique by the girl's father, Zavier Maix. Amethyst herself was just a baby still, not even a whole year old yet, but close.
"All I am is a failure. It's no wonder Darth Tenchu wants me dead so he could have Kaga. Hes right about me. All I am is a disgrace to the Doment Family, and to our Empires. I dont belong ruling an Empire."

Kamon shook his head.
"I must disagree. The problem isn't you. The problem is what people think of you."
He walked into the room and over to stand in front of her.
"Your peers are letting how they feel dictate how you feel. You have to decide how you feel. No one else can do that for you."

Jade keeps her head down as he speaks, then looks up at him through narrowed eyes.
"I do know how I feel. Like @#%$ because I can never hang onto anything for very long."
She pushes a button on the wall behind her and droids come out, shooting blaster bolts at her.
Jade presses a button on her katana and the maladorian blade suddenly flares to life, a silvery saber blade now on top of the metal.
She begins deflecting bolts and soon takes down all the droids, which are now laying in a pile of rsmoking, ruined metal.
"I lose everything I touch. Im better off dead.
Oh, wait, I am dead. In fact, a much better term is undead. Better yet, Id be much better to people as a pile of dust in the sunlight."
It could be felt in the air that the Darkside within her is turning stronger by the minute.

Kamon shook his head and unleashed the Force into its full potential. Letting soothing waves of the Force roll off of him and onto her, he put himself in front of her. The darkside was flaring and he was wary of that. He couldn't allow her to slip.
"Jade, listen to me. What would your children think of you died?"
He let that sink in.
"How do you think Damien would react to the death of his mother? How do you think your friends would react? If you were dead, things would be wrong. Things would be very wrong."
He looked her in the eyes.
"You haven't lost everything, Jade. Damien is still here, you have a planet growing out there. How can you say you have lost everything? How can you give it up?"

The scene changes and now they are on the sandy aqua beach of Dameo. Or New Dameo, rather. It was sunny outside, the purple waves rolling softly onto the beach at their feet. Since this was holographic sunlight, it wasnt causing Jade, a vampyre, and physcial damage.
She had caused this change without even thinking about it.
"Just because I still have my children doesnt mean I havent lost everything. They lost their fathers, which is more important to them than any Empire is to me.
Damien lost Raktus the moment he was born, and nothing will ever change that. It was my fault Damien lost him, just as its my fault Cassandra, Amnon and Amazon lost Marcus. Its my fault Angelique lost Zavier, and Amethyst lost Drako. Its my fault that all my children lost their fathers. They would be better without a mother who needs to feed off people to survive."
