Kamon nodded.

"Exactly."

He sat forward in his chair and rested his chin on the palm of his hand. With a smile he closed his eyes to concentrate for a moment. When he was done he opened them.

"Sorry, had to check on the kids."

"Its okay. Im lucky. All my kids from Amethyst to Damien were all born with mental links connected to me. Only I choose when to open or close the links. My link with Damien will remain open until he is old enough were it wont need to be open so much.

Its a Daemun trait, passed down to me from Drako Night, Ame's father."

"Interesting. I was referring to my children though. Amarie's still pretty upset."

Kamon sat back in his chair again.

"I think she'll be alright though."

"I know. Everyone has different methods of checking on their children. I was just voicing mine, thats all."

She sips her wine again and smiles softly.

"Im sure she will be. Give her time to calm down."

Kamon nodded.

"I will."

He sat back and rubbed his eyes.

"I'm tired."

"Yeah. Its getting late.

Im gonna go crash.

Sumohn will let us know if anything happens. She can be quite a protector. If you would like a cub, Sumohn's mother still has a few left."

"Sure. I'll take one. Right now I'm going to sleep however. Wake me if anything happens."

He sat back in his chair and let the Force flow through him. Soon he was in a dreamless state some people called sleep.

"Alright. Whenever you feel ready, well go see Flavia."

Jade walks to her quarters and growls loudly, instructing Sumohn to stand guard and to wake both of them if anything should happen.

She lays down on her bed, and falls into a deep sleep before her head hits the pillows.

Kamon's sleep was plagued with dreams about his past, present, and future. He saw things he never wanted to see. Ships being obliterated by a single missile, people dieing on Tholatin when he was in a drunken rage. It was all terrible. Things he didn't want to see.

He groaned audibly and moved around in his seat. The dreams scared him senseless. They began to run together and caused him to have a headache. It was like an explosion inside of his head. It had some terrible effects. One of which was him passing out. Another was the loss of a connection to his Ex-wife. It was all gone.

Suddenly, Jade was on another planet. Kaga, to be exact. The night she had become a vampire. Thousands had died in a struggle to sate her hunger. Now, she was watching herself do this all over again, part of her trying to stop it even now, and part of her enjoying the thrill of the hunt.

Though she was mortal now, part of her was still vampire. No more aging, enhanced speed and other senses, being able to go out in sunlight, able to eat and drink foods, and other mortal things.

She turns over, and the image changes, back to her days when her identity was hidden from her.
