Lupercus laughed sociably.

"I knew who you were.

The guards gave Dakkon a threat dossier on all his guests."

It was a lie, he knew her through reputation. Still, it would be enough.

"So you wanna get out of this dive and go somewhere for some fun?"

Jaina wasn't sure she trusted this guy. He was shady, scary, and kinda out there in some respects.

"Um...like where?"

Lupercus smiled warmly.

"Lets think. What can a man and a beautiful woman who are alone do to occupy their time?"

Jai seriously thought for a moment, then her jaw nearly dropped to the floor when she realized what he meant.

"Oh! I ought to slap you! We just met!"

Lupercus smiled.

"You look so much cuter when your angry!

And getting a rise out of you is so easy, i think i'll keep you at this anger level!"

"Ooo! I am a smuggler! I am not 'cute'!!!"

Jai stamped her foot and...as fate would have it, broke the pointy heel of her shoe. She immediatly lost her balance and toppled towards Lupercus, falling agianst his chest.

As she fell into his chest, Lupercus stayed still, the impact not moving him at all. Reaching down he helped her up, their eyes locking.

"Could that have been a sign of some sort?"

Jai blushed deeply, totally embarrassed, but still holding her pride.

"It's a sign that I need to start buying shoes somewhere else."

She used his arm for balance and took off her heels...changing her height from 6ft to her normal 5'10. She felt so short next to him. Lupercus laughed.

"Both funny and beautiful. Your quite the catch! I'd try myself but relationships were never my thing.

All i seek is fun. Mutual enjoyment if you will."

Jaina could not believe what he was saying. A catch? Funny? Beautiful?....he must've had too much to drink.
