Lupercus grinned.

"I like to think i have abit more class than my brother..."

He wore his usual loose white shirt and dark pants, both stylish and practical. And yet despite his casual clothes and nature he seemed to fit in perfectly around the grounds of the palace.

"Brother? You and Dak?"

Oh! A prince...a Hapan prince. Oh wow...this was too much to take. A Hapan prince was hitting on her. Oh yes, there was a God.

"Wow...thats...." And then her mind went blank. "Um...." Oh so blank. Nothing. Nada. "Uh...." Zip.

"Yeah...."

Oh, she hated when this happened. She shut her mouth and turned red. Royalty...why did he have to be royalty...

Lupercus smiled, he hand reaching up for her cheek. If she couldn't speak, he'd have to speak for her.

"Well, a thankyou for the rose would be what your trying to say?"

He ventured, half jokingly.

She glanced at his hand on her cheek and felt them go hot. She was blushing even deeper.
She smiled a little and looked up at the man..she didn't even know his name!

"Thank you." With a sudden bout of forwardism, she leaned up on her tiptoes, put a hand agianst his chest to steady herself and kissed his cheek.

Lupercus' other hand reached around to the side of her waist.

"And you don't even know my name! What would your parents say?"

Jai gasped and stood back at her normal 5'10 quickly, and pulled away from his hands.

Indignatly, and with a touch of embarrassament, she spouted quickly, "Well...Um...I have to go. Yes, I'm going to go. I have to....mingle...or something."

There went that stupid sounding blankness agian.

"Yes, I have to mingle."

Oy....what a dumbarse. She decided just to shut up and not say anything else. Moveing was out of the question too, she'd break her neck in these high heels if she tried stomping away now.

Lupercus smiled warmly, looking deep into her eyes, as if he was looking deep inside her soul.

"Now you don't."

He sounded oddly confidant.

"Lupercus."

Jai blinked...what kinda word was that? What is Hapan?

"Lu-what-us?"

"Lupercus."

He smiled sinisterly.

"It means the Hunter."

"Right..."


One word came to mind...weirdo. He was cute. He was Hapan. He was hittin on her. He was a physco. Goodie.
Well, the least she could do was introduce herself too.

"Jaina Solo. ...and I have no idea what it means."

She held out her hand for him to shake and smiled brightly.
