Ren shot a smile back to Dakkon, out of thanks and respect to one of his most long standing friends.

He looked back down the stairs towards the throbbing crowd, however he didn't wish return and converse. Something else was weighing heavily on his mind.

Cutting across the balcony, Ren exited the grand ballroom and sat, cross-legged on a balcony, where he began to meditate.

Aurora's face beamed with happiness as her brown eyes caught sight of the laughter in her brother's face.

"Does this mean I am forgiven then?"

Being fussy was something that came naturally to Aurora, an everyday occurance. Dakkon did not have a liking for such a thing, but Aurora could not help but be who she was. Her brother accepted her as she was and that was all that really mattered to her.


Being as quiet as she could, Aurora leaned in toward her brother and whispered into his ear.

"I am terribly bored..."

The beaming smile on her face and the happy glint in her eyes was enough to make any mans heart melt, no more so than Dakkon. He instantly perked up.

"Well... Maybe just this once!"

He sat there for a moment, looking at the youthful exhuberance that eminated from her like a gas. She had already received many marriage proposals, many of which were from the most eligable batchelors in the galaxy. Princes, Dukes and sons of prominent businessmen among the eager throng seeking her hand. He picked up a champeigne as a waiter walked passed and leant against the counter, looking out at the dancing mass.

"Then go find a partner and have a dance girl! You've had that many marriage proposals, i'm surprised you haven't already been accosted by some of our younger guests!"

Speaking with many of the distinguished guests and dignitaries Morpheus had begun making his way toward his cousins Dakkon and Aurora. He hadn’t spoken to either throughout the entire evening and felt it was time to greet them.

The evening had kept him quite busy, he decided to excuse himself from those he was already conversing with and walked over to both.

“Good evening Dakkon, it is good to see you.” He said shaking his hand. “I trust this evenings festivities have kept you quite entertained.” He said gesturing toward the party.

He then turned to Aurora.

“Why hello, Aurora” he stated with a warm smile “It is quite good to see you as well.”

He continued, “You look wonderful tonight my lady….even among the Hapans rumors of your beauty roam far and wide, though they hardly do you justice.”

He then turned to the party and back to Aurora with an inviting smile and paused for a second, he continued.

“My lady if you would be so kind, shall we dance?” Morpheus asked.

The young princess gave a deep bow toward her cousin at glance, smiling warmly as she set eyes onto him

"Thank You, dear sir."

A hesitant look crossed Aurora's brown eyes as she looked onto the dance floor and then back to her cousin.

"How could I refuse..."

She blushed slightly, nervous at the thought of dancing. Still, she clasped onto his hand when he offered it to her.

“Just follow my lead, we should do fine.” And the two began to dance.

“Hopefully you are enjoying the evenings party my lady, I just recently returned to Hapan from a very long and far off trip.” He went on.

“Saw many beautiful sites, of course none so beautiful as yourself.” He said with a warm smile

Morpheus then dropped Aurora low and to the right. Her brown eyes widened with the thought of being dropped completely. But it only lasted a second and he raised her back up.

Morpheus smiled softly as they continued on.

Aurora suppressed a gigle as she was raised back up, her face finding the pink hue yet again.

"Pardon me, but what did you say?"

The low dip had caught the young princess off guard. Dancing was not one of Aurora's favorite forms of entertainment.

"Would you like to go out onto the terrace with me?"

The private moments spent alone with someone to talk to, times like those Aurora enjoyed most.

Dakkon watched with a smile growing on his face as his little sister was whisked off her feet by Morpheous. They were cousins, and had long been inseperable. Ordering another drink he sat back. The night would soon be at an end, and a number of prominent visitors were yet to arrive.
