(OOC:This is just a fadeaway for me and Jai, no need for the party to stop on our account.)

Only a hundred metres away the party continued to rage through the night, the revelry going completely unnoticed by the two as they remained locked in their own passionate embrace, fulfilling each others desires, needs and wants with reckless abandon.

And while the party continued, so did they until they collapsed sated as the sun dispelled the 5 moons of Hapes from the sky...

As the dance whirled to a climax and a finish, Dakkon stopped and lead Jasmine back to the throng.

"I feel so bad, dragging you off to keep you to myself. There are still many more people you have to meet!"

Dakkon lead the pair back to Ren.

"So Ren, are you enjoying yourself?"

Ayanna had been wandering around the garden, lost in thought, and before she realized it the sun had set and the light of the several moons was making everything around her shimmer and glow. Her formal gown, which was made of the finest silver silks and white gems the consortium had to offer, looked like a million diamonds dancing in the moonlight as she made her way to the ballroom. She had no intention of arriving so late, but everytime she set foot in the gardens, her mind was taking over by the sweet aromas and the beautiful scenery.

The ballroom was almost as breath-taking as the gardens, the soft light of the many chandeliers reflecting off of the translucent walls and the ceiling. Many couples were already taking part in the ballroom dancing while an orchestra played in the background.

There were some familar faces there, but many more faces that she didn't recognize. Ayanna slowly made her way further into the room, walking amongst throngs of people, politely smiling and saying hello. A waiter approched her and handed her a glass of champagene. As she nodded her thanks she spotted the newly married couple for whom this whole party was being thrown. Ayanna then quickly made her way over to them.

Dakkon smiled as he saw his cousin approach.

"Ayanna, welcome! Your husband is around here, but let me introduce you to Commander Ren Janggar. Ren, this is my cousin Ayanna."

"Dakkon, it is wonderful to see you again, and so happy." She said with a smile as she gave him a quick hug. Ayanna then turned to greet Ren. "Hello Mr. Janggar, its a pleasure." she said shaking his hand. "Dakkon, I believe you forgot to introduce me to someone....perhaps the most important person attending this little party of yours." she said jokingly as she turned to Jasmine. "Congratulations my Queen." she said bowing.

OOC: First part is in the past...

As Jai turned toward he window, Kas felt slightly surprised. He once again tapped his senses out, and eavesdropped.
Through the whole conversation, all the way up to their… kissing… aboard Lupercus’s ship he listened. At that point, he broke the connection.

That man needs to be looked into. Lupercus… Lupercus… I’ve heard that name before.

Something had felt …wrong… about the man. Despite his hitting on jai, with a charming smile, and quick wit, something was… wrong.

Kas stood. He had sat cloaked for the majority of this fantastic party, and it was now time to move and mingle. He spread his senses out in every direction, looking for familiar signatures. There they were. Drawing back into himself, he began to mingle.
Stopping to chat with one person, laughing at another’s joke, or cracking one himself. Outwardly he seemed the picture of enjoyment.

But Inwardly… inwardly he was disgusted. Disgusted at his inaction. Ren…. He made a beeline for the Rogue Jedi’s position.

A familiar presence shifted through the crowd, a very familiar presence.

Could it be? His good friend?

Ren turned into the crowd, <font color=lime>"Kas Katta!" <font color=white> Gleamed Ren.

<font color=lime>"How's my partner in Crime these days?"

"I'm doing quite well, my Jedi friend. This party is quite good, correct?"

Kas paused for a second, arranging his words.

"Have you every heard of a Jedi named... Lupercus? He seems to have swept Jaina Solo off her feet..." His eyes strayed toward the general direction of Jai. "But something is... wrong about him."

Three people walked by, laughing raucously... as they did so, one bumped into Kas. The transition was flawless, and no one other than Ren noticed the small object slip into Kas's pocket.

Ren noticed a few strangers slip past and bump into Kas, hardly anything for the casual observer to worry about, however Ren was nothing of the sort.

Lupercus, the name he heard uttered by his brother long ago, the man pulling the strings.

<font color=lime>"Em, Lupercus, yes that name does ring a bell. I think I recall him from a trader I once heard, he's from Hapan, I don't know much more than that though, my friend." <font color=white> Ren limited his info on Lupercus, he didn't want to rouse Kas.

Something strange was going on, something strange indeed.

"Ren... I'm not going to blow. I know Jai only from VC interests... my only concern is that he may be ... sith."

The word curdled his mouth. To a Mar'hute, turning to the dark side was cause for instant execution. To the Mar'hute leader, who knew more of the galaxy in general, it was simply a great distaste.

"I cannot go around killing dark side users. Though my people may do so, I cannot. You know the reason my friend.

My concern extends to Jai though. Young, and .... lonely. She may not admit it, but a smugglers life is not one for the sociable type.

Let's walk through the garden, ok?"

As the two walked out, Kas noticed the Hapen queen, smiling, and laughing as she danced with her husband.

Forbid that I would ruin this party for personal reasons. That I will not do.
