A Call to Gather: The Meeting of the Jedi Council (Jedi!)

Amalia hesitated once again, but it passed and she entered the order.

"I..uh..um, Kahn...I...I really don't think..that that's...um..is...necessary..really..not.."

Kahn's last comment had made her extremely uneasy. She was not at all expecting an audience. Now she wished she was anywhere but there.

She turned back around to look towards the door.

OOC: Err....I didn't mean that kind of audience..lol

IC:

Kahn firmly shut the door behind him as he entered as well.

"Amalia, relax. We have to speak with the Council. I'm not going to let you run away from this."

ooc: I know.

ic: Amalia had completely forgot about the council. Out of all the people within the order, the council had the greatest of influences upon her. Kahn wanted her to speak with them now. What was she going to do if the council did not accept her back?

"I..I can't, Kahn. I turned my back on everyone here. What right do have to ask them to take me back?"

She had to ask though, the order was in trouble. If she walked away now. It would make Kahn think that she didn't care, when she really did...But what if the order didn't need her help? What if they decided to fix the problem at hand without her? What if...

Never mind that now, Amalia...

No, she couldn't let such thoughts cloud her mind. She came here to return, to help. To return to the place she called home...

OOC: Sorries, my bad.

IC:

Kahn was silent for a few moments, sensing the internal conflict Amalia was having. He spoke in a firm yet gentle tone.

"Amalia, you are a Jedi. Jedi work for the greater good, and I believe you would be helping the greater good if you rejoined the Order. The Council will see that too. The worse they can do is reject you, and then you're no worse off than you are now. But if you walk away, you may spend the rest of your life wondering what could have happened."

"Well aren't you full of wisdom!"

She grinned.

"You're very right."

She shook her head.

"So...we're inside the building, where do we go from here?"

Amalia had no idea what she was doing. She didn't know how to carry on, with moving forward mostly.

Kahn smiled as well, a bit embarrassed. He wasn't sure if he should have talked to Amalia like that, and hoped he hadn't shown any disrespect in doing so.

"This way, Master."

Kahn took the lead, showing Amalia down a few corridors, until they stood just outside the Council Room.

"Would you like to enter first, or would you rather if I did?"

She thought for a moment and then decided that it would be wise for Kahn to enter first.

"I think you should enter first, as I don't think they are expecting me, and I'm really not sure if I'm welcomed back..yet."

Kahn nodded and knocked solidly on the door to the Council room. He waited to hear a reply before he would enter.

Leia had been meditating within the mostly empty now Council Room, the knock brought her out of her trance. She did not rise from her seat, and instead reached out with the Force beyond the door.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Kahn... and.... Amalia!?<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Kahn seemed to be the one who was more confident and thus doing the knocking so it was he she sent the message to.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> You and your Master are welcome to enter..<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->

Kahn nodded to Amalia to let her know they were allowed to enter. He pushed the door open and walked into the Council room, Amalia behind him. He bowed deeply, wondering for a moment whether he should begin speaking or if he should wait for Amalia or Organa.
