except for the fact youd have to figure out how to get it to the borg...
And then them not figuring out a solution to it within a day. The only way to defeat the borg is to kill them all at once.

The factors you need to look at are this:
1) Is this versus a result of just stacking the two universes united against each other.
2) Is this versus just a result if the two universes came across each other.
3) What points are we judging this in both of their chronolgy
I am judging this in terms of a New Hope (when the Star Wars universe was at it's best) and NG/DS9/Voyager just before the Dominion Wars. (Yes, I am a sad geek who loves his sci-fi)
The problem is, much of the Star Trek universe is at each others throats and are already of small numbers. Thus, while the Romulans would probably join with the Empire for the sake that the Empire is pretty bitching at this point. Also, the Borg would just battle everyone. 8472 would sit out because they are from another universe and would be happy their enemies are destroying each others. Q will probably save Janeway and Pickard and their lot and let the rest burn.
The Star Wars lot have much better efficency in travel (they can travel the entire distance of the Federation space in probably less than a day) while it takes them weeks to months. Also, their ion cannons would devastate the Federation ships. Also, although the Federation weapons are more easily to cut through, the Star Wars people have much larger ships. And, they have fighters which will be a good factor and the Star Trekers don't.
In the end, due to the unification of the Star Wars Universe (and most other times of it's chronology due to the length the Old Republic stood), the efficency in movement that they have, and the fact that more factors are in the Star Wars favour, I believe Star Wars would succeed.

I agree with Irtar, but I think the Borg are just too much of a Wildcard, they could quite possibly overwhelm the SW universe. The only reason they dont overwhelm the ST universe is becuase ST has more advanced technology. SW doesnt, but they have uber weapons of mass destruction and raw numbers.
Q wouldnt enter into it I dont think. War in the continuim, baby Q, and the fact only one Q really ever effected humanity and that Q would most likely be too entertained by the fighting to interrupt it.

Ok, your talking about who would be good to destroy the Borg all at once:
The Empire with tons of it's uber superweapons
The Yuuzhan Vong at their prime, which would be just before Star By Star
The Yevetha???
The Ssi-Ruuk, provided they slip in a priest early to do a few rituals, and provide they assimilate enough people before attacking the Borg
And hey, the Empire has something that the Borg could not adapt to. Thanks to the Suncrusher, how the hell do you adapt to a star going supernova?

The Empire with tons of it's uber superweapons
I doubt would be able to destroy the borg completely. The Empires superweapons were mostly threats. Combined with the fact the Borg have the transwarp conduit system and teleporters, Imperial weapons could quite possibly become Borg Weapons.
Death Star, Invaded by wave after wave of Borg Cubes and Sphere, being transported into, back and forth. Borg start to redesign the DS to their needs, taking apart technologies and adapting themselves to them. the Borg might lose all the Cubes they throw at them, but in the end, the DS would most likely be assimilated. As weve seen from their fight with species 8472, we know that the borg are relentless at sending cubes at unbeatable foes.
Same thing with the Sun Crusher, it enters a borg system, Borg intercept it, Sun crusher rams through a borg cube, Borg beam a couple drones into the SC. Pilot gets infected with nanobots. Might set the system to nova. In the end, the Borg have a SC still.
Galaxy Gun, destroy maybe two Borg worlds, Borg Track it down, board it or attach themselves to the outside of it. The galaxy gun falls to the Borg, wether they assimilate it or the Empire destroys to keep it out of their hands.
The Yuuzhan Vong at their prime, which would be just before Star By Star
The Vong.... Maybe.... MAYBE. They would be driven mad by their anti technology fervor. Im sure that would add a little to them as well. Their worldships would fall of course. I have no clue what the Borg would do with a living ship though. The klingons fell before the Borg though, so Im certain they could handle borg Drones. Not to mention once one fell, they would pretty much know enough about the Vong to come up with a counter attack method. I think the Vong and the Borg might just fight it to a stand still. Though, in the way were looking at it though, that might not happen till everyone else was wiped out, since the Vong would most likely be out killing everyone else too.
The Yevetha
No chance in hell, all dead in the first wave
The Ssi-Ruuk
Another no chance, the Ssi-Ruuvi would need to Entech a force user for long distance life sucking. They have yet to be able to entech a single force user of any power in the entire cannon.
