Massive props to Smarts

Huge props goes to Smarts for his work in "Coalition of the Damned". Without making too much of a pun of it, Smarts is... smart! He's researched the characters, places, and procedures necessary for Onyx post-surrender, and with precious little input from anyone else has written a huge amount of quality material covering something critical to the Coalition's survival. He's really caught the ball here and done the Coalition as a whole a great service as well as doing it with impressive skill and intelligence.

I publically declare him fully deserving of his title!

Simon Kaine in "Coalition of the Damned
Those that destroyed the property of the Empire were no longer non-combatants and were no longer desiring the benevolence of his glorious majesty the Emperor Hyfe.

Those that took Imperial property with them were considered looters and thieves and no longer protected under the benevolent agreement settled between the Prime Minister and the Galactic Emperor.

Just one question. Given that the majority of known species lack the ability to traverse the stars unassisted, given that the Empire has claimed possession of said required assets, one (me) is given to wonder how, exactly the Grand Emperor Kaine (let's be honest) intends for anyone to actually exersize that 'grace period' offered them as, given the sway of Imperial 'possession', every single space-faring vessel tasked with said exodus would, in fact, be in violation of that same grace?

All the same, good work Om. Still... Imperial Hypocrisy at its best (or worst) and how fitting that Desaria and Drayson should be the perpetrators of said inconsistancies? Surely, none are shocked by this revelation...

Beff says, "You can leave if you want. But once you make that choice, you're my enemy and if on the way out you breathe my air, continue to wear my clothes (previously yours and now mine by annexation) or attempt to put on my shoes (yours, once) on the way out you'll be in violation of my unspoken terms and I may just murder you for it. It would be justified homicide, of course. Legal."

Beff proceeds to assassinate you.

Actually, only the ships are the exception as his benevolent majesty Emperor Hyfe indicated. The statement you quoted was referring to the point that the time period given for evacuation would be better spent on actually evacuating people. Not possessions. ;)

But then again, since we claim the entire galaxy...

..if you break it, you'll buy it.

"Spheres" is next on the list for me, never fear. Getting back into the groove.
