I would also like to point out that, though a fighter may be capable of going at 1xxx MGLT does not mean that it goes pedal-to-the-metal all the time. A pilot, particularly a human pilot, simply cannot react quickly enough when you're going thousands of kilometers an hour. At full speed the pilot would be dead before he saw the other fighter he hit.
In actual combat all fighters go more-or-less the same speed unless they're leaving.

Fine, but the damages I posted stand, and the TIE Defenders that were disabled are still on a ballistic course towards whereever they were aiming.

I had assumed the TIE's I had struck were the ones passing by that had already hit thier targets...

One the ships hit their targets the first time, they turn around and hit it again and again, always staying underneath the target ship.

I might add I also said I covered our formation, I didnt say facing one direction. Two reapers, each facing away from the other, projecting a 185 degree radius of DMB makes a 360 degree cover, all around, with some overlap space.

1. Until a staff member says so, and I mean posts in this thread in full acknowledgement, there will be ABSOLUTEY NO REINFORCEMENTS. Back in the day no reinforcements came to any battles and now adays you post in two posts to get a fleet anywhere. Nien. You explain yourself to an admin and convince them that your ships are legal, otherwise no go.
2. Planetary forces, your loses are crazy for the moves your attempting to make. For one thing all I said was I was sending more troops at the Ion Cannon, I had pictured a break run mass like the Rebel retreat at Hoth, not an idiotic British Line from the war of Independance. Another being that the Dameun body, due to project Immortality is not spinal run, but self functioning via intelligent assemblers in the blood. A one hit kill would consume of either a headshot or full body Ion, and yes I will call Godmoding if I see you suddenly equp all your forces with Ions out of no reason.
3. You dont even state where your fleet is, at least none that I see, for all I know your posting damages with one ship, which is unacceptable. I dont know how many missles are hiting my ships for example, and as your not posting for GC I sure as hell dont believe youve got enough missles to destroy every one of my Ghosts in orbit. SO please clear this up immediatly.
BTW, Dont AIM me, just keep it here if you will...

1.There is no rules against reinforcements, so both Griff and I can bring in our reinforcements.
Also, you said a protective hemisphere, and you only had 3 Reapers on that side of the planet(the other one was already mentioned to be on the first side of the planet).
So there would be a gap for my fighters(since it's hard to completely cover all angles with only 3 Reapers).

No its not, 1 reaper covers 185 degrees, 2 reapers covers an entire sphere. 3 Reapers without question leaves nothing left.
As for reinforcements, read my #1 and try again.

Gue, in the future, please state who you are talking to - it would help me out alot.
And I pictured the Ion Cannon thin like a run as well, but even if your guys aren't "spinal run" you have well over three thousand blasters firing at 500. So your losses are realistic.
