Use the '--' to signify being cut off (I just noticed this being used in a Rex Stout novel)

eg: HERE HE CO--

Drayson:

Your latest post is complete and utter bullshit. I'll post why later.

If you haven't posted a plausible reason before the 72 hour expires, I'm going to enforce it. You can't stall a thread by saying "That's BS".

Indeed, the missiles were reduced to nothingness. Whether by the poorness of the ORS sensor units or simply poor reading of those devices, the enemy ships failed to respond in any form to the salvo of missiles.

You know perfectly well I meant burned up and were destroyed Drayson.

The circumfrence of the Earth is 42240 km.

You travelled halfway around the planet around 21120 km or so in minutes.

No.

According to the Essential Guides I'm pretty sure the atmospheric speed for the X-wing is 1,000 km/h. It would therefore take an X-wing 21 hours to complete the same trip. I'll be waiting the 20 some odd hours for your ships to come into range.

In retrospect my firing on your ships also didn't make sense.

(Notes on damages to VSDs: This makes the third post attacking the VSDs, the first being the ships making their microjump, the second being them moving into position. The damages are attained due to a combined total of 150 missiles striking the VSD's engines and repulsor units, which means they are currently unable to mantain flight and will soon crash on the surface. They still have flight capability, but their fate is pretty much decided.)

This is your first post firing at my VSDs. Before you were firing at my command cruisers presumably my Mon Cals since they were the only cruisers I had there.

Mmmm-hmmmm.

Drayson, I'd like to see you respond before I give you lax on the 72 hour rule, as these points seem valid to me.

Marth, if you can provide any sort of evidence that missiles would burn up going into an atmosphere, then present it. Otherwise, all you're saying is that because you said it, it's reality.

I could post and say your ships suddenly exploded, but unless I can provide a reason that doesn't make it true.

And it was you, not me, that placed my VSDs in range of your fleet. So that argument has no merit.

I placed my fleet in range of one of your groups of VSDs. Your VSDs would've been more or less on the other side of the planet. Since I was moving as quick as the other VSDs and not stopping thats where your VSDs would be.

On the point about missiles burning up:

Rock is burned up going into the atmosphere, a small hole in the space shuttle which is covered with specific flame resistant materials will blow it up. I think that when you consider this and the fact that a missile doesn't really have that much hull you would agree.
