Running into the audience chamber, Rowax was panting heavily. He rushed forward towards Master Jas.

"Master Jas," he called over the din, " I have some disturbing news!"

In search of Vance Jas, Darth Kane noticed Darth Rowax calling over to the Sith Master.

"Master Jas," he called over the din, " I have some disturbing news!"

Darth Kane ran over and interupted him.

"News?" He said, "What news do you speak of?"

"Silence!"

Vance's words resonated through the open portion the Sith Order stood within, the force aiding weight and command to his simple shout. Reaching int his cloak, Vance grasped his lightsaber handle, pulling it free from the clip on his belt; as the weapon was seen, Vance was tempted to begin dealing out punishment to those who deserved as such... but he stayed his hand, for the moment.

"You all have been called back to the temple for the reasons that you have failed in your task." Vance's eyes narrowed, as the darkness seemed to crawl around his presence. "You have all failed, there will be no individuals held responsible, for you were all charged with this task. For your lack of ability to work with one another, which is what I have told each one of you, you all shall feel pain and suffering, this I promise you..."

Pointing his lightsaber at Kane, Vance hissed. "Silence you insolent whelp, do not speak until I give you permission!" Then turning to face Rowax, who seemingly had some pressing news, Vance watched him... it could wait.

"Do not speak, for we must act quickly lest these intruders fully grasp what has happened and begin taking action against us, in turn."

Moving forward, Vance began stalking out of the temple, expecting the Sith to follow in his wake; and if they did not, then they would be dealt with upon his return, this he vowed.

"We shall attack the compound together, in a single strike force. We will not divide our numbers, we shall not show any mercy." Vance half shouted over his shoulder, still walking toward one of the speeders. "Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, I want to see nothing but the death of these enemies! The fact is that compared to the Masters of this Order, you are nothing. And if you wish to attempt to prove yourself anything other than the Apprentices you are... I shall show you how little you truly know."

Mounting one of the speeders, Vance motioned to a nearby Apprentice. "You. Get on. Each of you shall carry as many as needed, for we will ride into the compound and slay every single being not with our Order... Do you all understand?!" And once the Apprentice was seated behind him, Vance reved the speeders engines, and began racing toward the compound with the Apprentices in tow...

The Enemy Compound

Vance's eyes remained narrowed as he bore down into the compound, his speeder bike engine whining in protest. The rest of the Sith were behind him, aiding in the charge, and they would also be entering the compound within a moment. Glancing over his shoulder, Vance spoke to the Apprentice behind him.

"When it is time, dismount and show no mercy... do not worry about this speeder bike."

And reaching to his comm, Vance pulled it up to his mouth. "Shiryou, begin your flank attack, meet me in the middle of this battle." And placing the comm back onto his belt, Vance looked forward at the enemy camp...

They had managed to set up defenses. Several large turrets rotated slowly along the outer wall, as well as thirty or so men positioned with blaster rifles atop the same wall. From within the compound, Vance saw a single large tank-like vehicle, which was obviously waiting for a firing line; and it would prove to be deadly unless engaged at close range, within its firing ability. Also within the compound were a further sixty men, all armed and ready.

Lifting his arm, Vance looked over his shoulder, calling to those that followed. "Spare none! Some shall take the turrets, some shall take care of the wall gunners, some shall take care of the men inside and I will handle the tank!" And twsting the throttle on his speeder bike, Vance rushed headlong at the enemy compound. Pulling the bike up for altitude, Vance cleared the wall, swooping over the heads of a few men who had begun firing at the oncoming force; and mid-air, Vance leapt from the speeder bike, launching through the air...

His lightsaber was in his hand, the azure blade activating with a snap-hiss, before he landed heavily on the tanks top. Standing, Vance twirled the weapon in his hand, stabbing the blade down through the heavy plating of the enemy tank... At the same time, the other Apprentices had also begun their attacks. And Vance hoped, for their sakes, that they had the sense to organize who was meant to deal with what.

ooc: You are able to post what your character did up until the charge, and then take it from there. I left things open up until the attack so you can decide yourselves. Do not bog down the attack, and use IC dialog to communicate plans to one another - Vance is handling the tank, the rest of the defenses are up to you.

"Shiryou, begin your flank attack, meet me in the middle of this battle."

Those were Master Jas' orders, they needed no reply. He would follow them with out question.

*How odd* he thought, *I've worked alone for so many years, yet I so willingly lend myself to the Orders demands, whims...and punishments...* even Shiryou wasn't looking forward to the pain that the punishments would bring, but, if he wished to continue, he would have to accept them, he would merely focus harder in the future.

Leaping to the ground, Shiryou shot foreward like a laser bolt, silently running in the tall grass.

As he did, he took stock of the situation he was going against. The large turrets moving slowly back and worth, the soliders armed with guns across the outer wall

Shiryou smiled, "I like a challenge" he hissed to himself.

Shiryou kept his body close to the ground, using the tall grass as cover as he stalked closer and closer to the wall.

His plan, was to get to the very edge of the wall, wait till the gun's turret was right above him, leap and catch the turrent and make his way in that way, taking out the soilder in the turrent as he did so.

Shiryou then sighed, "Hell, I could just toss a plasma grenade up and blow them to hell, but what fun is that."

Using a tiny bit of the Force, he used it to enhance his leaping ability to land on the outer wall silently in a crouch. His fighting knives slipped out again and down went one gaurd silently. However, Shiryou was smart. Supporting the solider from behind, Shiryou remained in the shadows and made it seem the gaurd was still at his post.

This also ment that Shiryou had access to a laser rifle

"You. Get on. ..."

Dehoir nodded slightly at the order and swiftly mounted Vance's speeder. She wrapped her arms around his waist in order to secure herself for the ride. Keeping as quiet as possible, Dehoir focused on the attack that would once again commence.

Master Vance's plan of attack was sure to work. Dehoir put her faith in her Master, and in her own abilities.

As she sat and waited for her Master to begin the advance, Dehoir looked toward Zarith and Leiden. The two other Sith apprentices were the only others, beside herself, to have remained behind at the Temple as the others rushed off. They seemed to be the only ones to realize that the mission had required some tactical prowess; something she was grateful for. As her mind began to wander, she was surprised when the speeder took off. Dehoir tightened her grip around Vance’s waist, and nearly buried her head in his back as he accelerated further.

The Enemy Compound

As Vance dismounted the speeder, Dehoir lept as well. Grasping the hilt of her lightsaber, she ignited its red blade, and once she landed deftly upon her feet, began tearing into a small line of defenders armed with blasters. As her Master expressed; there was no mercy to her heated attack.

Sneering, Dehoir charged one of the few intruders as he lowered his weapon to fire upon her. The trigger pulled, the lithe Sith leapt into the air, somersaulted, and landed behind him. Before he could react to her swift movements, the headless body landed before her.

Calming her breathing, Dehoir finally had the opportunity to remove her cloak. Tossing it aside, the slim sleek form of Dehoir, straightened her red locks, and proceeded to move on toward the second line of defenders.

Then

Jude listened to what his master said, wincing as he berated all of them for their failure in dealing with their assigned tasks. When his master had done, he breathed a silent sigh of relief. Yes, he would soon experience much pain and suffering for his failure, but at least they would deal with the threat of the enemy first. He also noticed Valas running out of the chamber, and some other commotion that was happening. When Vance proceeded out of the temple and onto the speeder bike, along with another apprentice, Judicious proceeded to hitch a ride on another apprentice's speeder bike. Then they were off.

Now...

They were approaching the compound now at a high rate of speed. Judicious took out his comlink, and thumbed the activation stud.

"This is Jude. I suggest a plan of attack in that the first four apprentices to reach the compound attack the outer wall and turret emplacements, while the remaining ones ride over the wall and proceed to engage the main enemy force. Over." said Judicious, as the speeder he was on burned torwards the expanding compound.

Then, they were upon it. Jude watched as Master Jas accelerated over the wall, but his speeder kept on going straight into the wall, but before it actually slammed into it, he placed his feet on the speeder and jumped off, releasing his cloak at the same time. He landed hard against the stone wall, softening the blow by landing with his feet outstretched. He gripped the edge of the wall before he could fall down, and then the speeder slammed into the wall at full force, the explosion propelling him up the wall. He landed on his feet next to a laser turret, his cloak atop it, it's gunner attempting to clear it so he could see. He almost had it removed when Jude's lightsaber pierced the canopy in a horizontal strike, splitting off the top part of the canopy, and the gunner's head as well. He stepped past the turret where two guards were turning their blaster rifles from firing on the incoming speeders to target this new and unexpected threat. A single wide sweep of the lightsaber caught their rifles and the arms holding them, cutting off all four of their hands. The two humans staggered backwards, looking at their stumps, before they fell off the wall, dying upon impact to the clearing floor below. Judicious, having dealth with these targets, looked around for more.

Leiden had followed orders quickly and as efficiently as she could, as soon as Vance had given them. Following him quickly to the speeder's, she managed to be ahead of the group. She'd refrained from wincing at Master's words, but only just. She was beyond irritated with herself and more than wrathful toward the apprentices that had chosen to get them all into trouble. Striding with a naturally confident sway, Leiden approached one of the bikes.

Leiden climbed up onto a speeder quickly and motioned for Judicious to climb on. She kept her mouth shut. Speaking wasn't going to make the situation better. At this point, she was just going to obey orders and take care of things as best she could. Centering in on her rage at the other apprentices stupidity, she used it to focus herself and prepare for what was to come. They were approaching the place quickly, and Leiden quickly and efficiently unhooked her lightsaber, keeping it firmly in one hand.

Tensing her body, she got herself ready to dismount. Time for business. Hopefully, the enemy wouldn't have had enough time to seriously prepare for them. Throwing aside her worrisome thoughts, Leiden merely centered on what she felt. It had always worked before.

She stopped the bike and pushed off tof it, launching into the air, using the force to land lightly, she turned her lightsaber on and headed straight for the turrets. Judicious could take care of himself. Once the turrets were out of the way, the other apprentices on the ground would have a better chance of getting to the men. Gathering everything she was feeling, she pushed herself off the ground and up the wall. She made it nearly all the way up. Grasping the wall in one hand, she pushed off it again, using the force to propel her up and over and knocking away blaster shots as she went. She narrowly missed being hit by a few, but once her feet hit the wall top, she was in her element.

Although she still wasn't entirely comfortable with a lightsaber yet, she was finding herself rapidly converted to it as she fought her way toward the first turret. So much more civilized and graceful than a blaster. So much more efficient. Grinning widely, Leiden spun and took the head off one of the men. Her tight fitting clothes were making it easier for her to manuever.

"We shall attack the compound together, in a single strike force. We will not divide our numbers, we shall not show any mercy." Orion stood silent because of his failure, even the failure of others didn`t comfort him, but his lightsaber cutting flesh would be. Orion followed the other apprentices silent to the speeders and jumped on one speeding towards the compound with the others. When they almost arrived to the compound:

Lifting his arm, Vance looked over his shoulder, calling to those that followed. "Spare none! Some shall take the turrets, some shall take care of the wall gunners, some shall take care of the men inside and I will handle the tank!" And twsting the throttle on his speeder bike, Vance rushed headlong at the enemy compound.

Orion couldn`t help smiling and accelerated towards the compound with his eyes locked on the turrets, which he had decided to take out, but of course few soldiers would just have to be slain before that. Orion speeded towards the like Master Vance and jumped to the wall with his lightsaber ingnited, but he had his robe still on, which made him slightly clumsy. Allthough he didn`t have to be on his best against such fools, who didn`t have any knowledge of the force. Orion began to work on his opponents and deflected few blaster shots, which came from a man next to him. Orion took few steps towards as he deflected the shots and spinned around slashing the man blaster arm away, while pushing the man with the force on to his friend so, that he couold finish them both off. Orion ran towards them and rolled in the ground stabbing the both men trough their chests, then he ran towards the first turret deflecting unaccurate blaster fire from a longer range....

Orion rushed to the turret, which was currently turned away from him and the crew had noticed him because they had taken their blaster out. Orion leaped trough the air and landed next one of the men slicing his head away, which rolled down from the wall dropping to the ground below creating slight panic in the others. Orion deflected few bolts and had to take cover behind the turret when a man with an bigger assault gun began to fire at him. The blaster fire destroyed some of the turret panels making it unuseable, which would good news cause no one could sneak behind them and shoot the sith in the back with that turret. Orion had find away to stop, that blaster fire and he looked around, finding a blaster on the ground and rises up shooting back forcing the shooter to take cover. At that moment Orion bounced out of his cover and ran towards the other men, that had operated the turret and throws the other in the face with the blaster while slicing the other across the chest. The other had backed down slightly and Orion kicked him quickly in the chest dropping the man of the wall unfortunately for the man he landed on his neck.

Orion grinned vicously "I`m terribly sorry...that must have hurt..."

Orion suddenly felt a sting of pain in his left arm, the man with the big gun had shot him while his attention was elsewhere and Orion grabbed his hand, but before that he threw his lightsaber towards the man impaling the mans chest. Orion grinned in pain and knew, that without his lightsaber would be a easy prey, which was already noticed by the other turret men and they began to turn the turret at him. Orion jumped along the ground sliding to his saber, but his saber wouldn´t be enough to stop a shot like that. Orion looked desperately for options at that desperate moment and jumped on to the wall edge, which was slightly higher. He ran along it hoping to get there in time and he was almost half way when he heard an order to fire, Orion took his last chance to live and tapped into the force leaping barely over the shot, but landing on the turret. He had to grab the turret unless he wanted to drop down from the wall and soon he had two blaster holding men on his sides. Orion pulled himself up jumping to the other side of the cannon where he landed kicking the third turret operator in the head, but soon he was in the same sitsuation except he was standing. They shot at him and he deflected the other back into the shooters chest while jumping a backwards flip behind the other. When he landed behind the man he stabbed the man trough the chest feeling sick pleasure while the mans life left the body and the mans dead body collapsed to the floor. Orion smiled from pleasure repeating his own earlier words.

"That must have hurt." Then he walked onwards slashing at the turret panels and saw Leiden working on some other turrets on the other side of the wall....

At the order

"We shall attack the compound together, in a single strike force. We will not divide our numbers, we shall not show any mercy." Vance half shouted over his shoulder, still walking toward one of the speeders. "Nothing fancy, nothing over the top, I want to see nothing but the death of these enemies! The fact is that compared to the Masters of this Order, you are nothing. And if you wish to attempt to prove yourself anything other than the Apprentices you are... I shall show you how little you truly know."

Rowax listened to what his master had to say and accepted that his news on the turn of Valas Quinn would have to wait untill later.

Following Master Jas and the other apprentices to the returned speeder bikes he clambered onto one and waited till another apprentice had climbed up behind him.

As the apprentices moved off towards the compound with Master Vance Jas in the lead he allowed his thoughts to turn towards the upcombing battle- perhaps this would allow him to clear his head for a while and figure the best way to explain what had happened in Valas Quinns room to Master Jas.

At the compound

"Spare none! Some shall take the turrets, some shall take care of the wall gunners, some shall take care of the men inside and I will handle the tank!"

Jumping from his bike and allowing it to crash through two armed men before smashing into the wall in an explosion of fire. Before he had even hit the ground his lightsabre was ablaze and knocking bolts straight back at their attackers. Now this was the type massacre he enjoyed.

Moving through the scores of men who had been thrown into a fray that they were in no way prepared for he hacked at arms and chopped off heads. Severed limbs and cracked bones. He loked over at the other apprentices, smiles on their faces as they allowed the dark side of the Force to destroy their opposition. The Force was with them in this attack, much as it no doubt would be when their attack moved up to the frigate itself.

Jumping over a heap of dead corpses he spotted two men atop a large metal tower, firing grenades into the frenzie below. With a wicked smile upon his face, Rowax ran to the tower and climbed at an unnerving speed. He reached the top with in seconds and chopped off the head of the first men. The body fell into the battle below. The second man however was prepared for the thrust of Rowax's lightsabre and ducked underneath it before moving round to the other side of the tower. Obviously this scumball did not know the powers of the Force. Reaching out with the Force, Rowax got him in a tight grip aqnd held him smashed him against the wall nearby. A trail of blood on the silver metal showed how badly damaged his head had become. Nothing was left inside it.

That was when it happened. Turning to climb back down, Rowax suddenelly felt a terrible pain in the centre of his stomach. He looked at his body to see a gaping hole where his intestines should have been. Smoke still curled from the open wound and a rush of blood ran down his leg. Stumbling forward his hands lost their grip on the metal of the tower and he plummeted into the crazed scene below him. His body hit the floor with a sickening crunch and the spot of the Force that had previously held Darth Rowax, was suddenely empty. As if he had never existed, the Force continued on. With his death, the knowledge of Valas Quinns betrayal would remain a secret untill long after he had escaped.
