Nihilus finds two other Sith apprentices, a man and a woman, which he felt he would need of their services.
"Hi there, I think I remember you Dehoir from the Sith Temple, so whos this here with you? What's the deal here and I could help out in some way which it would be ideal for three of us to work as a team to share the glory."
Nihilus's eyes narrowed as he looks at the howling wind behind me as he feels so much anger and hatred in his old heart.
The almost five thousand old dark side creature ponders the next move of this quest to be what he was meant to be...
"Perhaps my stealth craft would be of some use in this plan of yours Dehoir?" Nihilus speaks in a ghastly tone from his cold, hearted lips.
Dehoir's attention was drawn back to Zarith as he addressed her. The dashing young man was charming; something Dehoir knew he would use to his advantage. She intended on using her seductive appearance and intellect to obtain what she wanted...becoming a Sith Master.
The reflection of Zarith's chestnut colored hair shown in her eyes as she looked him up and down. Dehoir cleared her mind; she needed to focus on the mission set before them all. She certainly couldn't be caught off guard.
"As for a plan of attack, the rashness of our friends may work to our advantage. If we take our speeder bikes and circle around the compound, away from where combat has broken out, we may be able to move in close undetected. Most likely a large portion of their patrol and guards are rushing to check out what is happening. We can avoid them entirely and hit the base from the rear or flank."
Dehoir's smile grew broader as Zarith contributed to her plan; something she had been hoping for. This one seems most astute in aptitude. I will have to be sure to... get to know him a little better. She licked her lips as her mind began to drift. Shaking her head slightly to compose herself, Dehoir quickly looked away, and cleared her throat.
"Yes, agreed. The whelps can be of some use to us indeed."
Once again she turned to face the blue eyed gentleman, a slight smile creasing her lips as she faced him.
"The faster we get to the compound, the greater our chances of surprising these intruders."
Dehoir glided soundlessly to one of the few speeders left, and gestured to the one next to it.
The lightsaber slashed and the captain fell headless on the ground, his head rolled several feet away.
"What the..." Orion heard one guard say, then they both rushed out of the shuttle to meet the guards in battle. Orion smiled taking an attackive stance, but still able to deflect blaster bolts, the 3 guards began shooting at him and he deflected few lasers until jumped on one of the boxes. The guards tried to get a clear shot, but orion was already in the air and landed next to a guard slashing the man to the knees so, that the man fell on the ground screaming in pain and drying. Next Orion spinned towards the next guard deflecting another blaster shot unfotunately his saber went high and he would have been wounerable, but Orion pushed the man with the force against some boxes at least knocking him out. Orion turned and took on the last one who was obviously affraid, that all his friends were taken out and was shooting like a madman, which made the blaster shots easy to deflect. Orion rolls in the ground and stabs the last man in the stomach keeping his saber there, Orion smiled because of the pain, that this man felt and the slashed the saber to the side like the man was almost cut in half. It sure wasn´t pretty, but it sure was enjoyable and then he turned to take out the last one, the man was unconsious against a box. Orion looked at Valas who had spared one of the men for their need so Orion stabbed the man in the heart and pulls it out deactivating it. Then he turns ro Valas with a vicous grin on his face. "Now you know what`s battle is all about against guys like these, fun." Orion smiled noticing, that Kraken had arrived in the midst of battle. Orion jumped on one of the boxes and waited for while until.
<<"Remember, Apprentices, that you must take care of the compound first... they have the higher powered Communications gear, which allows them to transmit farther than the frigate... We can not allow that compound to remain active before the frigate is captured. Destroy the compound first.">>
Orion looks at his companions and smiles slightly, then Valas talks.
"Looks like we've got a bit of a wait ahead of us." He said to his partners." He pulled out his ComLink and flicked it on.
"Valas hear. We've got the shuttle situation secured. We'll wait near it. If anyone needa additonal assitance we can be there in a moment. Vance out."
Orion jumped down from the boxes and walked to his companions.
"We need to take, that compound out first so shall we go? Unfortunately we have only 2 speeder bikes since you Kraken.."Orion whispers the next sentence."don`t know how to use your brains."Then Orion continues with a norman voice."So, that means we`ll have to share a bike and i meant myself and Valas, because I don`t wish to be swooping across the swamps alone with a man impaled in the front of my speeder." Orion sighs" Anyway Kraken stay here while I and Valas are going to take the compound out with some other students, but if you need one there is mine behind some bushes about 150 feet away from here on the edge of the swamp."
Orion and Valas left running trough the jungle soon finding their bikes, Orion starts the engine and jumps on it waiting for Valas...
Valas hopped on the back of the speeder bike as it roared to life. It shot forward, throwing Valas head back and almost knocking off the cloth covering his eyes. He saw Orion dodge trees and rocks effortlessly, he knew he was in good hands.
"We probably shouldn't do this by ourselves, it might be risky." Valas yelled over the roar of the bike.
"We'll need at least a few more. What about that girl who came a few days ago? Dehor? Dehir? Something like that. She seemed pretty compotent." He continued. He couldn't tell if Orion nodded in approval or not, but he decided to continue anyway. He didnt want to alert the other Sith to his plan, as he wanted his team to do the best, and that meant keeping to themselves. He couldnt use the ComLink on the open channel for this reason. But he had no other way to contact her. Valas thought for a moment. He wondered if it would be possible to sned a telepathic message the long distance. He wasn't sure if he could do it, but he decided to try anyway.
Valas calmed himself down. he could feel his heartbeat slowing, and everything seemed to come to a crawl. He stretched his mind out. Far. Farther. Yes. It was working. Suddenly he was ripped back to conciousness as the bike lurched to dodge a tree. He grolwed in frustation then tried again. He shut out all senses but the force. He opened his mind's eyes and moved back, back across the camp, he could feel Jude sitting on the ramp eating a ration. Yes. He moved farther farther. It was massive strain on his head, he felt like his brain was going to split, but he had to continue. After what seemed like an aeon he could fell the presence of the Sith apprentices. He could almost hear the hum of the speederbikes taking off. He had to find the girl. he stretched it's mind to it's limit, attemtping to find some sign of her. He felt something, a twinge on his strecthed out mind. Was that her? Could she sense him rwaching out to her. It was his only chance. he had to take it.
Dehoir, this is Valas. We are heading towards the temple now. If you can hear me, we want you and any allies you have to join us. We have Shuttle ID codes, so we have a possible entrance to the Frigate. But we need to get to the compound first. We cant let the others know we're working together yet. If you accept our offer, get on private ComLink channel 1.28.98. We'll be waiting.
Valas mind exploded back into conciousness. He felt as if someone had been shaking his brain furiously. He gasped for air. Had he been holding his breath? He could feel his heart beating feveroushly. Had she gotten the message? Was that her that he was sending it to? He could only hope. He flicked on his ComLinkand turned it to the private channel. All he could do now was wait.
Vance's words brought Leiden out of her preperations, and she glanced up and around the hanger. There were a few other apprentices in the process of entering, and Leiden used her feelings to test them out. Hrmm... maybe worth her time. Jumping down from her ship, she approached them quietly. Running around blindly and acting like this was a competition wasn't going to help anyone. It was competitive to a point, but Leiden didn't see the logic in making that blatant.
"It would seem that some of our fellow apprentices have rushed head long into battle. We must neutralize the enemy encampment immediately before they fully realize what is happening. Perhaps we should work together and form a plan of attack, but we must move quickly, I imagine the enemy heard those blasters and screams as well."
Leiden looked over at the man as she approached and stopped a little ways out from him. He had a point. She debated continuing further quietly. Part of her wanted to just continue on her own. It had always worked for her before. Another part of her knew that if she wanted to make progress, she was going to have to sacrifice some personal preferences, privacy among them. She opened herself up to feel it out, and before she could say anything, another apprentice, this one female joined the man. Leiden had an inate dislike for anyone of her own sex, but she was willing to throw it aside for someone working toward mutual goals. "Suppose we kill all of the intruders in the compound; we would be without a way to get to the frigate without being detected." She inhaled deeply, and tossed her head back as she continued. "I suggest we take one of theirs alive. He, or she, could then contact their people aboard the frigate. From there we have our prisoner request a shuttle to pick him, or her, up; giving us the opportunity to fly undetected to the ship in orbit."
Moving forward, Leiden made herself known without saying anything. Her mind was focusing on the tactics of what she'd heard, and playing them off what she was feeling. So far, it seemed like the best idea. Better than taking off and trying to make her way around the mess already made. The man seemed to agree with her and Leiden glanced over at him, and then back to the woman. Leiden was standing slightly off balance, curves played up, her petiteness and small build thrown to the front. It was a habit, and she did it without thinking. "An excellent plan my lady. A prisoner would provide us with a familiar voice to contact the orbiting frigate with and provide the appropriate codes to them. As for a plan of attack, the rashness of our friends may work to our advantage. If we take our speeder bikes and circle around the compound, away from where combat has broken out, we may be able to move in close undetected. Most likely a large portion of their patrol and guards are rushing to check out what is happening. We can avoid them entirely and hit the base from the rear or flank."
"You should get going then." Leiden commented, her voice dry. If they expected to use that to their advantage, they needed to move quicker then they were now. It wouldn't be long before the people figured out what was going on.
Almost at speeds to incredible to comprehend, the Sith apprentice that Rowax had been watching jumped up high into the air and then glided down beside him.
"What is it that you need?"
"I need one headstrong apprentice with a knack for machinery- do you think that could be you? If so we can take my ship, fly to the south entrance of the compound, comm into any siths we can locate inside the enemies base and destroy the comm tower from te outside. Then I can use the cloaking device I had installed to enable us to reach their frigate unannounced."
Rowax looked around the ever smaller crowd of apprentices that was left, "Clearly most have gone but is there anyone here you think would be of benifit to us?"
Judicious watched as Darth Orion and Valas Quinn took off into the forest, leaving him behind with the shuttle. He sneered his lips and hissed as they left, for Orion was probably not aware that Jude had very good hearing. Not that it mattered. These two seemed to be very foolhardy and recklessley, and he himself had been a fool for following them into battle in the first place. No, he preferred to have the combat happen to a place and time of his choosing. He started to walk around to the shuttle when a beeping noise alerted him to something. He rushed up the ramp to the shuttle's cockpit, where the communications line was beeping. He pressed a button.
"All forces, this is Commander Genda. General recall, repeat, general recall, we need all troops back here on the double." said the commander.
Feeling a tingling of fear on his neck, Jude proceeded to stride out of the shuttle, and turned his comlink frequency to that of the one used by the Sith.
"Beware, all Sith forces, the enemy is alert to your presence approaching the compound. Me thinks they have set up survelliance cameras or sensors around their base. Be advised, they have recalled their outlying troops. I will of course respond to their hails and recall to their headquarters as requested. Over." reported Judicious. He then went over to one of the guard's bodies, and taking off his cloak, and the guard's uniform, he began to change.
"Beware, all Sith forces, the enemy is alert to your presence approaching the compound. Me thinks they have set up survelliance cameras or sensors around their base. Be advised, they have recalled their outlying troops. I will of course respond to their hails and recall to their headquarters as requested. Over."
Darth Rowax heard the message come over his personal communicator and spent a few minutes deciding what to do.
After a few moments he pulled his comlink back out and switched it to Judicious Kraken's personal frequency.
"Judicious this Darth Rowax, can you hear me- I have a proposition for you. Over." ...
Pushing his comlink back into his pocket, Darth Rowax moved forward towards his ship. Should Judicious comm him back then that would be great but he had learnt along time ago that he should never place his trust in others so he wouldn't hold his breath.
Once at his ship he turned to Darth Kane.
"Ok I'm gonna need you in the cockpit for the first leg of the journey, then if you want to head to head to the starboard laser turrets, I don't doubt we'll need to fire them at some point."
Heading up the ramp he called out to EFour.
"Droid, I'm gonna need you to keep an eye on the proton stabilizer. It's been showing a mass reading of ion flux so make sure the capacitator doesn't start to burn up."
He strided into the cockpit and took the customized seat he had, had installed a few months before arriving on this planet.
"Ok let's fire up the repulsor lifts."
The ship bounced into the air at the same time an evil screahing could be heard. Four strange bird-like creatures had attached themselves to the left side repulsors and were spedily chewing threw them. That could be a problem.
