Meanwhile in the down-graded communications room, Nihilus turned off his lightsaber and put it on his belt. He saw the fear in her eyes as she was grasping for air when she had her other hand pulling down Nihilus hand to let go but it doesn't budge. "Let go please, I beg of you." her frightened voice echoing in the room as Nihilus grinned on his face. "I heard that before when I killed those guards of yours before I radioed in to say 'e need more security guards in the upper floor of AA. We can't hold this creature or something. Please help u-'. You guys are fools when you sent more guards to slay me but they failed. Just accept the truth, lady to come here and attack the Sith was the biggest mistake." Nihilus kneed her in the guts forcely. "Does that hurt, lady? It should. My people would take out people hearts while they are alive and take a bite in their face knowing death is next. That might happen to you next if it satisfy me."

Nihilus dropped her on the floor while she is still breathing more or less, "Don't go anywhere that I will know and I will stop you." She cried constantly about what things he would do to her. Meanwhile, Nihilus activates the communications equipment and sets in the right frequency to Sith Master Vance Jas, "Master, I have taken care in a minor communications room and I see some guards in HQ room with advanced communications systems on the monitors. It should be close to you on left stairwell. I will stay here and look after my 'guest' and she isn't going anywhere."

OOC: I am going to assume that Nihilus actually attacked a different room, since until now he never posted that he was in the HQ room and basically ignored all of our posts leading up to it. If one of the mods has a problem with this, please PM me.

Zarith had been following the lovely Dehoir when he had felt her communicate with him through the force. It was an interesting feeling, something he really had no experience with. It was like she was talking to him, but the voice came from inside of him rather than outside. He was about to attempt a reply when another voice came to him, the voice of the Master. His voice was far louder and more imposing than Dehoir's. Zarith could almost feel the heavy and dark presence of the master on his mind.

Dehoir, Zarith... I wish to capture the communications equipment, to use it for our own needs. Leiden, Shiryou and myself are coming to join you, clear the way if you have not already.

Zarith paused in thought. Whatever communications equipment these people had was likely to be in the command center of the base. This should be the most well fortified and well guarded part of the base, assuming these people had any sense of tactics in them. It was also quite likely the new they were coming, so the element of surprise was lost. It would take shear power, strength and skill to slay them without considerable damage to the equipment within.

Beyond this doorway a grouping of fifteen guards lie in wait. They are aware of our presence, but they know not our whereabouts. Zarith, I'll need your help in tearing through this door. As we push forward, Master Vance, Leiden, and Shiryou can move in from behind and take care of the strays.

Zarith gave a predatory smile to his fellow apprentice. Centering himself on the force, he replied in kind to Dehoir.

Of course my dear. But we must be careful not to damage the valuable controls and equipment inside. We must quickly slay as many opponents as possibly to avoid collateral damage from their weapons.

He nodded at her and then closed his eyes. This would take more skill than he had previously displayed, he would have to draw heavily on the force here. He dropped some of his barriers that kept the anger at bay. The veneer of sophistication and politeness dropped from him. Zarith's handsome face twisted into a sneer as his raged built up, rage at those that had ruined him, rage at these people for invading the planet, rage at the other apprentices for screwing up. The dark side was flowing through him, building in him. Together with Dehoir he launched this great amount of force energy crudely at the door, smashing it open.

With a flash of red, Zarith ignited his lightsaber and lunged through the door with an animal like howl. Inside the occupants were frozen for a brief second in shock, and Zarith moved to take advantage. A broad slash caught on man in his shoulder and slashed up through his chest, removing the top most portion of his body. Snarling, Zarith whirled, ducking laser fire and taking another man down at the knees, his screams echoing as his upper body fell to the floor, his arms clutching the stumps of his legs. Zarith stabbed another man in the stomach and yanked his blade up and out, slashing the man to pieces. Zarith moved to his next target, assuming that Dehoir was also there fighting

At the entrance to the main section of the compound

Judicious, having slaughtered the remaining guards outside of the main building, paused to gather his breath, and glanced down at his jumpsuit, torn and stained with the blood of his enemies. There were perhaps one hundred enemy dead outside, everywhere from the walls where the smoldering remains of the turrets resided, to barricades and other fortifications between there and the main building. Many of the enemy bodies were missing parts, or were simply sliced in half. Jude had just passed the wreckage of an enemy tank, taken out by the master himself. Jude glanced up at the building in front of him the main entrance forced open, more bodies lying about. He entered though the open doors, and glanced about. It was painfully obvious which paths the apprentices had taken. Seeing one which no one had gone down yet, he took that path, lightsabers at the ready.

A moment later he emerged into what was obviously a barracks portion of the building, which was empty. Igniting a ligthsaber, Jude slashed into one of the mattresses, setting it on fire. As he left this area, the fire spread to the other beds, and soon the whole room was ablaze in fire and in smoke. By doing this, the ventilators would suck the smoke up into the upper levels, where more guards were surely waiting. Jude stood on top of a table in the next room over, a mess hall. He ignited both of his blades at once, and cut a circular hole in the ceiling. He put both hands on the plug, and heaved it out of the hole. Heading up though the hole in the ceiling, he came out into another mess room. He headed out into the corridor, and was confronted by ten guards and two battle droids that had set up a barricade in the corridor. He ducked into the next room over as blaster rifle ripped up the area where he had just been standing. He pulled out his comlink.

"Warning, enemy traps and barricades have been set up on the second floor, east wing." said Judicious into the comlink. At that moment he glanced aside as a clattering noise caught his attention. He caught sight of two cyndrical objects rolling through the open doorway and into the room he was at. Thermal Dentonators! he realised with a start. He ran torwards a window. Then they detonated. Judicious was caught up in the explosion, and forcibly hurtled through the shattering glass windows, and to the ground below as a spectacular fireball roiled out of the room. Jude hit the ground hard, at once blacking out, his body covered and cut with shrapnel of metal and glass.

Inside the compound building

<<"Master, I have taken care in a minor communications room and I see some guards in HQ room with advanced communications systems on the monitors. It should be close to you on left stairwell. I will stay here and look after my 'guest' and she isn't going anywhere.">>

"Indeed, Apprentice." Vance said, in reply to Nihilius' message. And stalking through the hallways, the group of three finally came to where Dehoir and Zarith were fighting their own number of guards; they attacked in almost complete perfection, as far as Apprentices' abilities were concerned, and they were dealing with the situation to a satisfactory degree.

Looking to Leiden and Shiryou, Vance motioned into the room. "After you, my Apprentices." He smirked, waiting. He would see how well they did working along side both Dehoir and Zarith; if they could prove themselves with what remained, their punishment would be considerably less as opposed to what it would have been.

Stepping through the doorway, past the hanging door, Vance looked left and then right. Reaching out, he grasped a guard by the throat, clenching his fist and crushing the man's windpipe before he could utter a word; and using the force to gain a better hold on his dying body, Vance threw the man toward another guard, causing them to impact with a sickening crunch.

"I will deal with the communications console, Apprentices," Vance said over the battle raging, as he walked between the combatants, seemingly as if he did not exist. "Deal with these pests, so that I might disable any distress signals being broadcast." And without another word, Vance moved to the console, coming to a stop standing over it.

Frowning, Vance took a moment to look over the many buttons and switches that controlled the majority of the communications array. He really wasn't used to this amount of complication for sending a simple message, whether it be by voice direct or holo...

Vance's responsibility field rippled. And lifting his lightsaber over his shoulder, aiming the blade down along his back to the ground, he deflected a blaster bolt that ripped through the air for his exposed flank; the bolt zinged off the blade, traveling back along its course almost instantly, hitting the guard who had fired in the chest.

...and shifting his arm back down to his side, Vance reached out with his free hand to begin touching various controls. The basics were there, of course, and all he needed was to understand which were the more complex operations he didn't need to use at this point.

"Apprentices... do any of you know how to use this?" Vance asked, raising his eyebrow as he glanced over his shoulder...

Not very becoming of a Sith Master... but alas, I have no idea concerning this overly complicated set up.

Inside the Compound Building

A disdainful demeanor washed over Dehoir's persona as she focused her attention on the door before her and Zarith. Her use of the Force was limited; hence her need of Zarith's help to push the door down.

Once inside, her companion moved forward; tearing through the invading guards like a, starved, caged animal given food for the first time. He moved swiftly and easily through one side of the room, leaving the other for Dehoir to handle.

Licking her lips, Dehoir advanced; lit lightsaber in hand. With a savage growl, the skintight clothed red-head charged forward into the oncoming onslaught of men. She sliced through the first with surgical precision, and as the second thundered forward, Dehoir dropped down and swept his legs, knocking him cleanly to the floor. Rage took over as she plunged the glowing red blade into his exposed skull.

Her rage escalated with each successful kill. Dehoir's ecstasy was enhanced by her anger...something that could be felt by anyone within close proximity of her.

The screams, the smell of burnt flesh... these were the things that fed her hunger.

Her attention waned as she caught sight of her master, along with Leiden and Shiryou, enter the communications room. Eyes narrowing to near slits, Dehoir turned back to her work at finishing the guards. As two others approached at a rapid pace, Dehoir tried her hand at another Force push. She was successful in her attempt before, but twice in one day? Concentrating on the boiling emotions running rampant within her, Dehoir was able to toss one guard into the other...knocking both to the floor.

One after the other, Dehoir made her way through her oppositions; each dropping lifeless onto the cold floor of the compound. As her attackers' number decreased, Dehoir heard her Master's inquiry about the communications console.

Dehoir moved to Vance's side and quickly looked over the controls. It looked much more complicated then it actually was. Powering down her lightsaber, Dehoir attached the weapon to her belt, and began to move her slim hands over the panel. With practice ease, she was able to gain access to the array's main system control. A coy smile drew across her face as she looked to her master.

"I'm just full of surprises."

While Nihilus was still inside the room with his 'guest', he noticed on one of the monitors were distasteful to him, a large cache of Sith items that were very ancient like sith spears, sith swords, and other stuff. He looked down at frightened young girl on the floor that she was hand cuffed to the pole, "So you have been raiding the galaxy and requiring ancient Sith items that they did belong to my people, we have means to deal with people like you and you wouldn't last for eternity, when I put you on a world that belong to my people, you will be wishing this is just a nightmare." Nihilus gets down to meet at her eye level, "This is no nightmare well maybe for you but you don't stand a chance in hell to see things you would never have dream of. Maybe I would put Sith Hounds and they love to eat you alive when you look at them and eating your flesh to serve their long waited hunger. How does that sound?" The weary, bruised girl was pleaing for her life to survive and Nihilus won't do that for her. "Your life is in my hands now and not yours."

Nihilus activates the comm to Vance, "Master Jas, there seems to be a large cache of Sith items here in this compound. They must've required it for some time and looking for it around the galaxy where ancient Sith battles had been there. My Master Perrin Descartes told me things about people have been stealing Sith items. I guess we found one of the culprits but there must be more. Don't you think? Perhaps you or I torture and interrogate my 'guest' to see there is anymore people doing this? They will pay with their lifes when we have no use for them."

Shiryou frowned, he could have assisted Master Jas but the girl was quicker. It didn't matter, the deed was done and the mission was proceeding. A large dagger appeared in Shiryou's hand before he flung it, fueling its speed with the Force, into the eyesocket and subsiquently the brain of a gaurd that had been sneaking up on Leiden.

A gaurd charged Shiryou, swinging his staff around and planted it inbetween the gaurds legs with the scythe blade narrowly missing his groin. Stopping, shocked the gaurd looked at Shiryou.

Shiryou smirked behind his mask and drew the weapon upwards, the sharpend blade slicing him from groin all the way up into two neat halves.

Communications Center

Vance stepped away from the console, taking up a position near Dehoir so that he could best guard her flank. Even as she worked on the controls, Vance couldn't help but smirk; it seemed that some of his Apprentices knew more than they had originally allowed him to know, though granted that was expected...

"I'm just full of surprises."

"Indeed." Vance replied, looking back to watch the redhead work for a moment, before his comm began beeping on his belt; promptly Vance reached down, before bringing it to his lips. "Speak."

<<"Master Jas, there seems to be a large cache of Sith items here in this compound. They must've required it for some time and looking for it around the galaxy where ancient Sith battles had been there. My Master Perrin Descartes told me things about people have been stealing Sith items. I guess we found one of the culprits but there must be more. Don't you think? "Interesting..." Vance muttered in reply to Nihilius, his eyes narrowing. "For now, simply put your prisoner out for the count, I wish to speak with him or her when this offensive has been completed." And looking back to the command console, Vance continued. "Also, begin gathering what they have stolen, I wish for you to return them to the temple... contact Master Klain and ask him to join the offensive against the frigate. You can join him, and follow him in the temples' craft. Master Jas, out."

Putting the comm away, Vance looked to Shiryou as the other man finished off an enemy; which effectively brought an end to the small conflict in the communications room.

"Alright. We know have control of this station, and this means we need to bring that frigate down." Vance began walking back toward the exit of the room, looking back to Dehoir. "Once you successfully take over their communications, inform them to standby and await friendly troops retreating to their hangar bays... we will use their own shuttles against them. Once you have done this, join the rest of us in attacking the frigate."

Turning down one of the corridors he had previously used, motioning to Shiryou, Zarith and Leiden, Vance began walking out into the open grounds of the compound...

Compound Grounds

Coming to a stop, Vance pointed to five Sith Apprentices. "You. Guard this installation with your lives. We will begin attacking the frigate, and I will not accept this base falling back into enemy hands."

Turning to those who had followed him, Vance motioned toward the landed shuttles not to far away from the main compound. "We will take those, allow as many as you can to board with you. I trust each of you can operate a shuttle, or at least fly well enough to engage auto pilot... we will land in the hangars, and we will then work our way up to the bridge." Vance began stalking toward the group of shuttles. "Dehoir will be giving us the time to make the attack, by jamming their communications from this position. This station can overpower their frigates' systems easily enough. So our attack will be as quick and precise as possible..."

Looking over his shoulder, Vance narrowed his eyes. "Any questions?"

Communications Center

A slight smirk played over Dehoir's lips as Vance watched her fingers glide over the console with practiced ease. There were some things she had kept him in the dark on, and that's exactly how she wanted it to stay.

Her attention never waned from the progress she was making. Once, however, she chanced a glance in Zarith's direction as the young man was making his way through some of the last of the adversaries. Dehoir sighed slightly as she refocused her attention back on her task.

"Once you successfully take over their communications, inform them to standby and await friendly troops retreating to their hangar bays... we will use their own shuttles against them. Once you have done this, join the rest of us in attacking the frigate."

Caught somewhat off guard by her master's words, Dehoir could only manage a slight nod in Vance's direction. That is until her eyes met his own. Her spine tingling, Dehoir broke eye contact and continued with her task.

Within moments Dehoir was able to take control of the communications array. As Vance motioned to the other Apprentices to move along with him, Dehoir prepared to send a communiqué to the orbiting frigate.

With her master, and the others, gone Dehoir was able to focus her anger on the invaders and what their intentions might have been. Gritting her teeth, and narrowing her deep emerald eyes, she began her message to the ship in orbit above the planet.

Attention. This is Communications Station 001. We have encountered resistance by an overwhelming force. We are retreating back to the ship in order to regroup. Repeat: We have encountered resistance and are headed to the frigate in an attempt to regroup.

Dehoir closed the opened link and waited for a response. Once they responded she would contact Vance and have him commence the attack.

Shiryou remained silent, having his scythe still at the ready. He nodded to his orders but didn't move when asked if he had questions, which he didn't.

He awaited his order to move to the shuttles, once that was given, he would move and continue the opperation. Simple, effective. Like Death
