"That's not funny, Amarie."
If there was anything her words did it was hurt. He'd never done anything wrong to his people or to the galaxy. All he'd ever tried to do was make the galaxy a safer place to live by ridding it of the evils that plagued it. Of course, those evils happened to be the New Order and the Black Dragon Empire, both extremely powerful governments. Probably something he shouldn't have been doing.
"And I figured I'd tell her your name because I had planned on telling her mine soon enough. I don't see any reason to not tell her. I'm starting to think we should stop hiding so much."
He crossed his arms over his chest as he scooted a bit back away from the table but kept himself seated in his chair. This was a delicate situation to say the least. If he told her his name and she was really there as a spy for the enemy then he was as good as hunted. Or else the the Commonwealth was going to be at war soon for harbouring him without even knowing it.
But still, she'd mentioned that she had no interest in letting anyone know of him or of his location. That still didn't exactly mean that she could be trusting. It was only her word that she'd given after all. Still, if they remained in hiding forever then their lives would be completely worthless. It was time for something else to happen, for them to get out into the real world again. They could always run, after all.
"Alright.. I'll tell you my name, Kyra. Since you seem the type that won't just go blabbing about where I am."
A glance to Amarie steeled his resolve before he looked back to Kyra.
"My name is Kamon Vondiranach. I'm the Prince of Tholatin; ordained King but I refused the title. I'm also a Rogue Jedi Knight."

It appeared Watcher indeed had a true name. Even knowing he was Kamon Vondiranach did not truly matter to Kyra since she had rarely been in this part of the galaxy.
“Nice to meet you Kamon. I must assure you that knowing your true name is not any threat to you nor your daughter. I am alien to these parts and if you would have told me your name earlier, it would not have made a difference.” Kyra smiled, “Surely a Rogue Jedi could sense I am being sincere.”
Kyra then laughed. “I must also apologize. I joked about you being royalty earlier. I had no idea what you were telling me was true.”
Kyra then looked at Amarie with a smile. “I assume that makes you a Princess of sorts then?”
It was quite obvious what the reasons were that they were hiding. Royal families often got onto heated battles both within their families and with political rivals. Often enough, these ended in death.
Fortunately for them, the Nightsisters did not have any interest on Tholatin.
“With all do respect Kamon, do I address you as Your Highness or will Kamon be fine?”

"Kamon is fine, Kyra. I never liked people addressing me with my title."
Slowly he turned his eyes to look over at Amarie for a moment, watching her where she sits in her seat for a moment. There was that twinge again in response to the words that Kyra uttered. What was it with her? Why was she making him have these strange twinges? He felt she was sincere in her words, but why the twinge?
"There are reasons why I was being secretive..."
He might as well tell her why he was in hiding since he'd told her his name. It was time for starting a bit of trust between them. If she was hiding something, the best way to get it out was to be honest himself and tell her things. That was always the first step in getting things started between two people as far as trust went.
"I was the leader of the Tholatin Republic, a galactic power that stood for peace and justice. Unfortunately we had many enemies because of such a stance. Two of those enemies were the Black Dragon Empire and the New Order, otherwise known as the Empire.
"Things were fine until war broke out without a good reason. I suspected a plot from one enemy and blockaded them for a while. No shots were fired and it was ended peacefully. We left but were ambushed by that same enemy. It seemed they didn't much like the way things went.
"In the end, my government declared themselves non-combatants and we dissolved our naval forces. The Empire and the Dragon's blockaded Tholatin, sent down their troops, and arrested me. I was transported to Kessel where I remained for two years before being rescued by chance. That's why I'm hiding. To keep the Dragon's hunters away."
Arms crossed over his chest as he finished speaking, watching Kyra for a moment and gauging her response to his words. Most of his attention remained upon her, though he afforded a glance to Amarie for a moment.

Amarie was tempted to stand up from her seat, and scream at her father, but she knew it would do no good whatsoever when her father simply replied just how unamused he was by what she had said. So, she kept her mouth firmly clamped shut as he continued, explaining why he revealed her name, when he delayed in revealing his.
Amarie would tell him precisely what she thought on that one, and the reasons why later, letting him turn the conversation to the woman whom called her sister, like she was a part of a family that Amarie herself felt she kept losing pieces of. She gave a nod to Kyra when she guessed that Amarie would be a princess.
Why was it that it took a giant shove for her father to actually begin to trust anyone? It was quite the question.

You didn’t have to know the ways of the force to be able to tell Amarie was quite upset with her father.
“Well, it is getting late. Would one of you be kind to show me to my room?”
Amarie jumped up as she gave an annoyed look to her father. She then signaled Kyra to follow her.
As they walked toward where Kyra would be staying, Kyra attempted to talk to Amarie along the way…
“You seem to have made quite a home of this place. I’m sorry you and your father have had to hide here from your enemies. I too know what that is like.”
Kyra remained silent much of the time since she could feel Amarie’s anger with her father.
Kyra thought to herself…
Amarie’s anger…
Did she know how much strength she could focus from that same anger?
Kyra stopped as they reached the door to her room. “Amarie, I plan to go out and check on my ship tomorrow morning. Then I plan to explore the surrounding area.” Kyra smiled, “I would appreciate some company along the way. Care to come with me Amarie?”

And so the seeds of doubt are spread by only a few mere words and some subtle hints from Kyra. That's what she was doing, even he knew that. Amarie was mad, mad that he would tell Kyra her name and not his. But she didn't understand that he planned to tell Kyra his name soon enough. She had to jump to conclusions.
Maybe that was what the twinge was about within the back of his mind. She wasn't what she said she was, and yet she was what she said she was. Perhaps she thought she could fool him long enough to take his daughter from him. She didn't know that Kamon was strong enough, or smart enough perhaps, to see that which was going on right underneath of his nose.
He couldn't force Amarie to do anything though. Her path was her own to choose and if she decided that she didn't want to be with her father he couldn't make her stay. It would tear his heart apart for her to leave him alone. There wasn't anything in the world that could break his heart anymore right then than to have his daughter walk out of his life.
The of them left him alone in the entrance hall and he slowly lifted himself from his seat and went about cleaning up the dishes. His mother would have been proud of him if she saw him actually doing chores. But someone had to do it and Amarie was preoccupied with Kyra so that left him. So he cleared the dishes and put them and the food away.
After doing so, he glanced down the tunnel, keeping tabs on the two women for a few moments before he turned and walked through the doorway. The wind was cold that night, brushing along his skin as if a kiss from a lover long since dead. He wrapped his arms about himself to bring warmth as his cloak billowed out behind him.
How long, mother and father? How long do the shadows linger upon me? How long until the galaxy knows my name again? How long until the enemies of freedom fall?

Amarie didn't want to hear the explaination for his actions, which would inevitably turn into yet another lecture. An explaination inevitably turned it's ear, the blame shifted, once again, to Amarie herself. She just wasn't really up for a potential verbal firestorm, so when Kyra gave a chance to step away from the table, Amarie took it, giving her father an annoyed glare before turning to follow their guest down the hallway.
Kyra was being friendly, even seemed sympathetic, but didn't force Amarie into any real conversation, even letting her dwell upon what had happened at dinner, and just how poorly that rarely shared moment with her father turned out. Their guest was acting like she was the big sister, one that Amarie never realized that she had at all.
Then, there was the point where she had to leave her guest to her own devices, and was about to turn to go to her own room when Kyra gave Amarie an invitation to join her in the morning. It sounded far better than she would be potentially facing with her father.
"That sounds great...perhaps I can stop by in the morning and we can get moving then?"

Kyra smiled…
“Yes, tomorrow morning will be fine Amarie. Good night.”
Kyra closes the door then walked over to sit upon the bed and began to thin k to herself.
Tomorrow will do very well...
Very well indeed My Sister.
Kyra looked around the room which was decorated quite simply. It felt only slightly uncomfortable she was in a Rogue Jedi Temple, but she managed to calm herself and lay back into the bed which was prepared for her.
Kyra tucked her lightsaber beneath her pillow. She was no fool and would not take the chance that Kamon may have second thoughts of her.
It was time to rest. Tomorrow, Kyra would begin to test Amarie and see if she had any Nightsister tendencies.

Amarie took her time in reaching her room, pondering upon what had transpired within the few short hours since Kyra's arrival, wondering what had gotten into Amarie when she pretty much insulted her own father. Soon, she'd be hearing from him, but for now, she was stuck to thinking back to the events that had transpired, giving herself a guilt trip. Was it too much to ask for a bit of consistency when it came to relaying information like their names?
In her own mind, chances were that with even the slip of her own name could spell disaster. Kyra could still spell trouble, no matter how kind and sympathetic she was. With Amarie's own statement about her own records was true, but what she didn't dare mention was the possibility of being able to find out who her father was by Amarie's own connection to him. It would've been a matter of time before hell would break lose on Tholatin again, and Amarie didn't want that.
Her own guilt had once again turned into anger as she plopped onto her bed, tossing a raggedy looking stuffed ewok doll across the room to hit a pitcher of water, sending it crashing to the floor.

The outdoors could only satisfy him for so long and he soon found himself wandering back into the temple itself. Amarie was back in her room now, he could feel her there, and Kyra was in the room that Amarie had shown her too. That was a good thing because it meant he could keep a better track of her. Yet, if she was a powerful darkside user and he didn't know it then this was all for nothing.
Wandering through the halls brought him to the open door of his daughters room, she having just walked in from the hallway and not noticing his approach. As he moved to stand in the doorway, he watched her actions as she knocked the water to the floor with a crash. He could sense the anger welling up within her and that wasn't a good thing. That and she was in a bit of turmoil because of his actions.
"It's a good thing we can get more water, eh?"
She hadn't noticed his presence yet, but she would know he was there now. His voice was loud and clear and his eyes were focused on his daughter. Slowly, he moved himself away from the door and walked over to where she was sitting upon her bed, moving to sit beside her even though he hadn't asked if he could. There were some things he still held a right to.
"You're going to leave me, aren't you?"
It was a straightforward question and he'd already seen the girl being influenced by Kyra. He could feel his daughter slipping away from him with every passing moment. It frightened him to say the least, but he refused to let that fear control him because his actions would be the wrong ones as a result of them. He had to be calm and collected with his daughter, let her go her own way. Even if that meant leaving him...
