OOC: This I'm planning on occuring close to a month after Green Light

IC:

Raven didn't know where she fit in now. She doubted either the Jedi or the Sith would take her in because of the way she changed after the Green Light incident.

She found out that greed litteraly does destroy a person. Even the Dark Jedi's search for her was a part of that greed.

Or, was it a sick, perverted lust on his part?

She smiled for a moment, recalling the look on the Dark Jedi's face when she told him that she was still married.

Zerxes

Underneathe his seemingly childish behavior and short temper, there was a side of him she yearned to see when he rarely let it through. Just where was he?

And there was Daren.

She had come to tell him that she loved him, and that a part of her always would, only that she was too late. The Dark Jedi had no idea, but once he heard her confession, he took it to his advantage, quickly killing the man whom was his prisoner for the past year.

Something like your first love that Zerxes would not even begin to understand.

And yet, she loved that childish man anyways.

And so ther ehe was, sitting all alone in their home because his wife was gone. She had told him she would be back, now here they were almost a month later and she had yet to return. It never crossed his mind that she would have the audacity to leave him behind. Never until now.

Where could she possibly have gone to?

He paced back and forth in their living room. Hands behind his back, eyes only barely open, posture that of a hunting man. He pondered where his wife could possibly be. Word had reached him of a fight where she had been spotted. But the lead had run cold and he didn't know where she went.

She wouldn't leave me.

That was a fact for him, not an opinion. He just had no possible idea where his wife could have gotten to. If she truly loved him, she would have returned by now. Something must have happened to take away from that love. He just had absolutley no idea what that thing was.

"Raven, where are you?"

Slamming his fist into the palm of his hand, he walked over to a closet and pulled out his favorite blac suit. After putting it on, he clipped his lightsaber to his belt and walke dout the door. Locking it behind him let him know that nothing would be gone when he returned. When they returned. It was time for him to go find his wife.

This location was a welcome contrast to that of Kiyar, a startling contrast to the slowly recovering federation.

Of course, the people wanted her to stay. According to them, she was their hero, the one person who turned the tide in their struggle against the Serasian Sovereignty.

The one most verbal about asking her to stay was, surprisingly enough, the Kiyar president. He was one person saw the change in her after escaping the Dark Jedi's clutches. He, more than anyone else, saw the warmth in her eyes beginning to take promince, along with the sadness that seemed to threaten to overcome that warmth.

That was one reason why she had left Kiyar. She didn't want to shatter their fragile image of whom they believed Raven Skywalker was. For now, their delusion was a comforting blanket. These people had lived without hope for so long, that it seemed unbelievable.

A change of scenery was what Raven so despretly needed. Kiyar seemed like a sad memory to her now.

She felt so lost, cast adrift in the sea of ferns and trees, stretching as farther than her own eyes could see.

She even missed her own husband, even though he would seem out of place in such quiet and peaceful scenery.

A small sad smile growing upon her lips, her fingers brushing one of the ferns that grew up to her knees.

With all the changes that Raven went through, would his feelings toward her change? Would he love her despite what she did at Kiyar?

His ship sat silently, cold, and dar. He walke dup the ramp and inside to a musty, coldness that penetrated to the bone. The ship started cold and he let it warm up as he pondered where his wife could possibly be. The darkside was no help to him as he had lost her signature some time ago. All he had was his gut instinct.

"Where could you possibly be?"

The Kiyar lead had gone dry. If she wasn't there she would choose a change of scenery. Some place he would not enjoy being. A place full of plants and other such things that would normally push him away. The problem was that there were so many of these planets he could not begin to guess which one she would be on. All he could do was fly around until he found her.

The shuttle lifted off slowly and settled into a path that arced into space from the hangar. The bleak, forboding image of space consumed the shuttle as he penetrated the atmosphere and shot towards a jump point. Once there, he jumped, letting his ship take him off to a point where he would hopefully be able to feel his wife.

Raven, wherever you are, I am coming.

Raven only wished to blend in with the forest, wearing simple survival garb. Though the design hadn't changed since the days of the Rebel Alliance, it still served a purpose.

Which lead into the old saying of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

The forrest didn't seem to end, which seemed appealing at first, but now, with fatigue setting in, it was getting annoying.

Spotting a few fallen logs, Raven smiled. For the first time in the past few hours, she could ease her aching feet, and maybe nibble on some of rations she had brought with her.

After a few false starts, she managed to hoist herself upon the logs, sighing in relief. Removing the simple helmet which matched the rest of her garment, she sat it down, shaking her hair free, a virtual curtain before her eyes.

Running a hand through the loose curls to pull away from her eyes, she had discovered that she was being watched.

Huge, black eyes seemed to look almost comical with the furry, gentle face, seeing it tilt it's head in curiousity.

"Hey, it's okay. I'm not going to hurt you." Raven reasured it, slowly moving her hands to pull something out of a small satchel.

Raven watched in curiousity as she pulled a portion of a ration bar out in his view, seeing the creature tumble forward without very much hesitation.

"You know what this is, don't you?" She asked.

Suddenly the creature jumped off the log, rolling easily into a space that was hidden by ferns.

What the hell was that all about?

A mournful call was heard moments later, a horn like sound trumpetiting in the air. Raven quickly was on her feet, her own lightsaber at the ready in her hands, her eyes scanning the surrounding forest.

All she felt next was a sharp pain at the back of her head as some tough, yet simply projectile hit her, making her calapse to the ground.

The only reply she could managed was a frustrated cry out in pain right before submitting to the total darkness capturing her vision.

A stabbing pain hit him in the back of the neck for no apparent reason. He rubbed his hand there and pulled it away half expecting to see blood on his hand. There was none. Then the impact of what had happened hit him. He knew where she was. He knew Where Raven had gone. He'd been blasted by a vision of her sitting on a log trying to get a small bear-like creature to come over to her.

"Endor."

His ship dropped out of hyperspace immediately and he changed course for the moon. THe place was dark and forboding even for a Sith. The lingering effects of the Emperors darkside powers were enough to keep a lot of people away from the sight. Why she had chosen to go there he didn't know. But he had a sense of urgency.

Raven, I am coming.

There she was, standing in some cold, dark room. The all too familiar thrumming of engines she felt underneathe the old durasteel.

Curious, she continued walking, till she came upon three individuals. Though, she could now barely make out the conversation, Raven didn't want to intrude, feeling like some voyeur.

Eventhough she had wanted to back away, she was unable to, her feet not obeying her commands as they kept moving her closer. Outside the window, she could see the distant flickering of what appeared to be fierce battle.

Raven knew what battle felt like, her last involvement still fresh in her mind.

She turned, hearing a quiet, and yet powerful, voice drawing her attention.

Much to her own surprise, it was then that she recognized the three. They were none other than Darth Vader, her own father, and the Emperor.

Her own mind whirred and suddenly clicked as she realized that what she was witnessing was a memory, for there was no way she could've been in this location in true reality.

She understood the internal struggle that reflected off of her father's face, the confusion as he tried to figure out what to do as the emperor taunted him.

Return to the darkness, child of Skywalker. Become what your father was too weak to do, and join my side!

"Noooo!" Raven screamed, suddenly stirring out of the dream, her entire body covered in sweat, her eyes whirring about her in confusion.

But, before she could take in her new surroundings, she once again fell into the welcoming abyss of dreamless sleep.

The system was dark, clouded. Even his mind could not get past the dark presence floating in space. As he passed through it it latched on to his mind and he welcome the presence. The bits of the Emperor unleashed themselves into his being and he allowed it for it brought knowledge. Much knowledge.

Then he was through. The memories stored themselves in the back of his mind but his purpose overshadowed the thoughts. The ship blasted in at the atmosphere and redish heat engulfed the ship as it plunged through and towards the forest beyond. He could feel her there, but not her exact location. He wasn't sure where she was.

I'm here, Raven. Hold on.

The ships repuslorlifts kicked in and he let the landing gear down. Settling down in a thick clump of trees, he went through the post-flight checklist and shut the ship off. Taking his gear and his pack, he left the ship sitting there and locked it. He didn't want any unwanted vistors. THen he walked off in the direction he could feal her from.

Raven kept drifting in and out of consciousness, not sure if sea of fur that she did see was a part of a dream, or reality. The sounds were almost like that of a sandpanther cubs, only with the long sounds more broken up and random.

Did the curious one lead them to her?

Her mind still in tormoil, like an old water-skimming sailing craft, unable to distinquish must of anything, other than the echo of the long-dead emporor's voice. Raven, however kept fighting the voice, despite the throbbing in her head whenever she made a sustained effort.

The small creature knew the treat the strange woman held out. He remembered it to taste rather dry, and yet good. The other object he saw before she knew he was there, he also remembered.

A hat, yes, that's what the other said it was called.

He was about to reach out and grab the unexpected delight, when a flicker of motion caught his eye. Knowing it to be trouble, he tried warning the woman, who seemed not to wholly understand, even as he dove under the logs she had rested upon.

It was only when she too, heard the hunting horns did she understand, upon her feet in an instant, holding a strange, glowing staff that made an oddly reasuring sound.

Never before had he ever seen seen such a thing, watching the woman hold it in a strange manner. No stick was supposed to be held like that! It was meant for bashing a clamed hunting animal, or to aid in walking the uneven ground of his home.

All too soon, they saw the sad, gentle woman as a threat, launching a sharp rock that sent her flying to the ground, the light from the staff dying out.

The creature could only watch in terror as more of his kind, though from a rival tribe slowly gather, overhearing them argue as to what to do with her. All too soon, they had taken her away, leaving him alone.

One he knew for sure that they were all gone, the old, but still spry fellow crawled out from his hidding place, his foot striking something that made him cry out in pain.

Bending down to pick it up, he recognized it as the strange staff of light, now only dark and silent. The legnth was big enough for him to use as a walking staff.

Though he wondered what the colored circle did, he was too spooked by the rival tribe's attack to find out.

That poor girl, he mused, shaking his head. There was only one thing he could do for now, was to keep walking, knowing that he, in his old age, could never entirely keep up with the younger rival tribe.

As he walked, the Ewok bumped absentmindedly in Zerxes. Zerxes had been listening to the sounds in the air, to the feel of the Force. It startled him to run into something soft and furry. When he did, his saber was in his hand and activated on one end. The Ewok stared at it, then to the one in his hand and made a motion at Zerxes.

"You know where my wife is?"

On a normal day the Ewok would have already been dead. But today was no normal day. The Ewok had information that Zerxes needed. It shifted the saber in its hand and held it out to him. He took it and felt the light material his wife had used for the saber. Deactivating his own blade, he clipped both to his belt and looked at the Ewok.

"Where is she?"

The Ewok made motions with his fingers as if to be walking. THen he pointed to himself as if to say there were more of them. He held up his fingers to emphasize a lot more. making a downward motion as if to strike something, Zerxes figured out of what he spoke.

"A hunting party from a rival clan?"

The Ewok nodded furiously and Zerxes stroked his chin.

"Which way?"

The Ewok pointed straight behind him and erxes followed his line of sight. He handed the ewok a few bars of food that actually tasted better than what was usual. Taking off at a run, he headed to find his wife.
