Raven sighed tiredly, seeing that whatever he saw in his own vision it wasn't all too pleasant, his not entirely focusing on her own.

Change was comming, and whatever he saw, it shook him to the core.

Laying her head down upon his chest, a smile flickered upon her lips as she felt her own head rising and lowering as he breathed.

"We can only hope that this vision will never come to pass, then. One, ironicly enough, will always suffer great pain as well as great joy. It's a part of the balance that life tends to maintain wether we like it or not."

"Pain..."

He shook with a sigh.

"Pain like what I saw is unbearable. Bad things will happen, Raven. Very bad things."

He looked down at her and tried to smile, but what appeared was forced. Smilign was something he couldn't do right now. Not after that. Not after what he had seen. He couldm only hope and pray it wasn't true. That, and learn to beat his brother.

"Thankfully, you've witnessed this ahead of time. If it does happen, we'll have time to prepare for it, and be able to change the outcome you've seen."

He shook his head and sighed.

"I don't know that we can change this. Even with how much I hate my brother, the more power I get from that, it won't be enough to stop him."

He turned to look at her.

"I'm going to have to kill him."

"Why do I have the feeling that you're somehow afraid of him? What does he do to make you feel that way?"

"What does he do? What will he do? My brother is younger than me, and yet we're equal in strength... for now at least. He's a Jedi Master. I'm a Sith Knight."

Zerxes brushed away the thoughts in his head.

"What he did in my dr.... my vision, was of the darkside."

Raven's eyes grew wide in shock at his revelation, and she seemed unable to speak, laying her head against his chest as she tried to form up some kind of answer, some kind of reply.

"If he gets turned to the darkside, then..." Raven shuddered, unable to complete the thought, her fingers suddenly clutching his body as she burst into tears.

They knew, very well, that if his brother were to become one with the darkness, then they were all doomed.

"I don't care what he does to the galaxy so long as it doesn't involve me."

She burst into tears, arms wrapped around him, face buried against his chest. He found himself instinctively wrapping his arms around her to comfort her. Sith were many things, and often not some things. But if his brother changed, went to the darkside and became a Dark Jedi, all hope for the galaxy was lost.

"He could be one of the greatest Darksiders alive and wipe out civilization as we know it.... But what he did... I can't allow it."
