Colonel Jesmin Ragabag looked out the view port of the Star Defender Viscount. She was attacking the planet Ylesia. A few months before Grand Admiral Snowkan had colnized the planet, freeing the slaves held there. Then the Yuuzhan Vong had come along and attacked Ylesia. The Rogue Empire had offered their help. Then they had betrayed the Mon Calamari Republic, taking Ylesia as their own. Now it was time for payback. She had been given command of The First Fleet, just for this mission. She had an enourmous amount of firepower at her disposel, which should be more then enough to take on whatever fleet and defenses The Rogue Empire had lying around.

"Ensign Atar, plot a course to Ylesia. It is time to make the Empire pay for betraying us."

"Course laid in."

"God job Ensign."

"We are on our way Colonel."

"Thank you Captain."

The fleet vanished into hyperspace.

The fleet came out of hyperspace at the edge of the system.

"Captain are there any signs of enemy ships in system?"

"No capital ships sir, but we have some TIE Interceptors on patrol duty. We also have 5 000 mines around the planet and a Gencore I shield generator on the ground. It is not powered up yet. We also see a Golan II Space Platform."

"Move us forward to just out of range of the mines and Space Platform Captain. Send Re, Ta, and Columbia around one side of the planet. Then send Valiant, Zeus and Zenit aroudn the other side. IF any capital ships are there, we will find them. Make sure the scouts are outside of the range of the mines. Launch all fighters. If we don't have any enemy capital ships on our sensors by the time the scouts return then we will attack the mines and SPace Platform. Tell all AT-HAs to launch, they will need to land on the ground and take out any ground installations. Lets move people."

"Sir we are receiving a transmission from Ylesia a fleet of capital ships have arrived and are starting to scout the area around the mine field just out of it range. The composition of the fleet suggests an MCR fleet."

"Prepare our fleet to enter hyperspace. I want a jump calculated to the edge of the Ylesia system on the opposite side of the star to Ylesia's current orbital position. We will microjump in from that point if there is nothing preventing it."

The large Gand stood on the bridge of the Disruptor class Super Star Destroyer Sadistic Mist the only ship to survive the distruction of the Mist Fleet. Rear Admiral Siather Det'aan had taken some time off after that incident to recover physically as well as mentally. He had lost a lot of good people on board the Mists, specifically the Tempest Mist and Zealous Mist. He would not soon repeat the mistake of following orders so blindly. The Vengeance Fleet recently reinforced with the power of the Sadistic Mist formed up and gathered all patroling fighters as the cruised a flank speed for the edge of unnamed system they were occupying. They reached the edge of the system and then they were on their way.

Full Fighter Complement

(OOC:I dont mean to be cluttering up this thread, but how the hell do you expect to land 1000s of troops with only a coupla Lambdas? I mean seriously!)

OOC:I don't plan on landing much more then a 3000. My Lamba's can in total carry 1200 troops in one load. My AT-HAs on the other hand can travel on their own power, and they carry 20 troops which gives me another 1280 troops so therefor in one load I can carry 2480 troops. Then my Lamba's go up for another load while my AT-HA's blast you. Is your Golan II on the outside of the mine field away from the planet r on the inside, near the planet?

"Colonel we have a report from the scouts. They have seen no activity from enemy ships. The starfighter patrols have gone to ground but have not tried to attack anyone."

"Alright then. It is time to take down some mines. Give me com access to all Mon Calamari ships in system."

"You have it sir."

"Good job Lieutenant."

"Thank you Colonel."

"All Mon Calamari ships, this is Colonel Jesmin Ragabag. We have no sign of any enemies in system other then the fighters patrolling on the other side of the mine field. We will ahve to take down the field. I am devising a plan right now. I will contact you soon to tell you the plan."

(OOC: Wasn't it ruled that Sadistic Mist had been destroyed at Geonosis?)

OOC: Last I heard it was up for debate(the TRE Fleet page, between Chadd and Drakiss, Chadd was going to check with OS), and either way it only makes a difference in name, there are plenty of other DSSDs in the TRE Fleet.

IC: For several months now, the Phantoms had been contracted to perform readiness and capability testing of Rogue Imperial forces throughout TRE space. The current phase of testing matched Phantom Leader Jander Sunstar against his old friend Siather Det'aan, freshly returned to duty after the debacle at Geonosis. The Phantom Fleet was to stage an assault on Ylesia, and Siather's forces were to move to defend in this exercise.

Sunstar stood on the bridge of one of his newest ships, the Galactic-class Star Destroyer "Pandora's Box", actually one of the payments they had received for thier services. It was the current flagship of thier forces, though it's replacement was well on it's way to completion. The "Pandora's Box" itself had just completed inspections, in Jander's line of worth paranoia was a neccesity of life, and the ship had been checked from bow to stern and top to bottom for anything that might be intentionally or accidently wrong. She was in top shape, like the rest of the fleet.

The Gand slowly looked across the bridge of the 2,100 meter long ship, over the bridge crew, and finally settling on the captain. "Make way, it's time." That's all that was needed to be said, the officer turned and gave the required orders. Moments later the fleet jumped to hyperspace, inbound for Ylesia.

It was a short jump, only half an hour since they had formed up nearby. Sunstar spent the time going over the intelligence he had on Siather's new command. They were formidable fleets, as Jander knew thier commander to be as well. Coming anywhere near matching them would be difficult, but then it was supposed to be. The Gand sighed and rolled his neck, two habits he'd picked up from too much time around humans. They were odd habits, particulary considering the biology of the Gand, who for the most part did not breathe, and whose outer flesh was that of an exoskeleton. Glancing at his chrono, Sunstar saw he had ten more minutes and went back to making last minute reactionary plans, the original plan for this operation had been decided on long ago. He kept at it until the one-minute warning beep sounded on the ships intercom system.

With that sound, Jander raised his multi-faceted eyes to the front viewscreen, which held a small counter in the bottom left corner and watched it come closer to zero. All throughout the fleet, men came to thier stations and prepped for operations. Finally the rainbow of colors outside gave way to streaks of light, and finally the starscape of the Ylesia system. Immediately the Gand could tell something was wrong.

"Conn, sensors," a young sensor operator called out, "we have three other fleets in system."

The older Gand watched the view before him. "Whose are they?"

"Sir, the instruments show two of them to be the forces we were to face in this operation. The other appears to be of Mon Cal origins. It's a big one sir"

"Launch all fighters, prepare for battle. Alert the fleet that this is not a drill, all weapons to full power."

"Yes sir," the Captain replied, and spun on his heels to relay the orders, and across the ship the sound of feet running could be heard as everyone scrambled. The first wave of fighters rose off the deck in the ships hangers, even as weapons were switched from training to battle settings. But before they could launch, the enemy fleet shot off into hyperspace, leaving only friendly forces behind.

Sunstar grimaced, and gave an order to the comm station. "Get me Admiral Det'aan."

"Sir, we've just been hailed, it's the Admiral," the officer overseeing the communications men called out.

Jander shook his head, and said, "Well then, open the channel in that case."

OOC: Manifest will be posted when we face forces.

OOC: Last I checked the Sadistic Mist was ruled to have been badly damaged and at most limping back home but not destroyed because it would have killed my character....

The Avenger and Vengeance Fleets, temporarily renamed the to Task Force Cappa, came out of hyperspace on the far side of the sun to Ylesia's current orbit and launched a squadron of TIE Interceptors to go scout out the current situation before committing the fleet to anything. The entire task force came to a complete halt behind the Sadistic Mist facing towards the shortest route around the sun to micro-jump by it and into Ylesia's orbit. The Rear Admiral recalled the last time he had been here and faced the Vong for control over the planet. He had lost the original Tempest Mist in that engagement but managed to keep most of the crew of the Zealous Mist alive many of whom still served under him today as they were transfered to the Sadistic Mist after its construction. The Interceptors dissappeared around the sun and spotted the fleet in the distance keeping out of the range of the mines.

"Sir the Interceptors report that there is a fleet on the other side of the sun. It appears to be waiting for something."

"Send the Interceptors to the surface of Ylesia transmitting a 'surrender'. Make sure they power down their weapons. I want it to look like they are a standard patrol returning from duty. We will not reveal ourselves to the enemy until it is absolutely necessary. Tell the Interceptors to cut transmission of the sensor data if any MCR ships get within 500 meters of them. Show me the sensor data on this screen." The Gand points at the display on his command chair as he takes a seat.

Siather studied the composition and layout of the MCR fleet carefully on the screen which he was receiving the sensor data. He sat cold, calculating everything carefully taking note of every movement the MCR fleet made.

"Colonel we have enemy ships in sector foury seven."

"What kind and how many?"

"Twelve TIE Interceptors. They are surrendering. They seem to be a patrol that was on the other side of the sun."

"Give me com access to them."

"Done sir."

"To the pilots of the TIE Interceptors, this is Colonel Jesmin Ragabag of the Mon Calamari Republic. We are here to reclaim this system as our own since it was stolen from us by your Emperor. Since you have surrendered to us, we will treat you as non-hostiles. Land in the docking bay of Viscount. I wish to talk with you in person. If you do not obey then we will be forced to fire on you."

Colonel Ragabag signed off.

"Tell two squadrons of fighters to follow the Interceptors in."

"Yes sir."

OOC:Saither it is now up to you, you deside if they land, or if they get destroyed.

(OOC: I know i'm not involved in this, but since when was an aggresser able to control the actions of a defending groups ships? Hell, by that logic i could just RP you surrendering your entire fleet to an escape pod... And standard Imperial policy rarely allows for their pilots to get into a position to surrender, TIE Interceptors are only given to relatively experienced pilots who graduated from TIE/In craft, so i doubt you would even come close to catching them in such a situation...)
