Points of View: Observers?

Irman recieved the artifact, holding it like the precious relect of the past that it was. A compendium of everything that encompassed the Order of the Aiki. The Jensaarai were curious in their was of teaching.

:One teacher for so many?: He thought to himself, : To be Saarai-Karra must be a heavy burden. :

"I have few others to add that I can think of as of yet." He looked comtemplative. He was about to continue when the maid droid returned with his tea he thanked her and then continues on, "The Jensaarai are much different from what I have ever studied. Most orders that I had heard of believed in the apprenticing system. At the least spreading the responsibility of teaching amoung many masters."

He shock his head slowly. "If an Aiki had tried to train like that it would have taken all of their apprentices most of their lives to attain the insight needed to master our ways."

"There is one more thing that I wonder about. What is the code of the Jensaarai? The jedi have their's, as do the Teepos, and the Aiki. But I have yet to hear those of the Jensaarai out loud."

Jaymach noticed how the Aiki Master handled the Holocron with great care, as if it were a delicate Human child, as children of his own species were...well...less than delicate, being born as wolflike creatures and immediately being effecient in hunting, he saw the Aiki carefully put it back where he had brought it out from. Then the Aiki spoke...

"If an Aiki had tried to train like that it would have taken all of their apprentices most of their lives to attain the insight needed to master our ways."

"Yes, our teaching was rather hard when there were so little of us but now we have many teachers who teach the newer members to our order..." was the simple response Jaymach gave to that comment, and then the Aiki asked a question for which Jaymach was unsure how to answer...

"There is one more thing that I wonder about. What is the code of the Jensaarai? The jedi have their's, as do the Teepos, and the Aiki. But I have yet to hear those of the Jensaarai out loud."

Jaymach paused for a moment upon being asked the question..."Hmmm...we of the Jensaarai do not have a code, so to speak, but rather a set of ethics of which we lead our lives by...it has also changed as of late, since our order started to prosper...we used to be extremely secrative, even to the point of killing other beings if they learned of our existance...I am glad to say that I never had to participate in the killing of any innocents merely to keep our secrecy" he gave a small shudder when he thought of innocents being killed for no good reason...

"Our ethics now rely on defense over offense...we choose not to meddle in the galactic affairs and simply defend those who are arround us...that is why forming our armour is so important to us...it is a constant reminder of our defensive nature...unlike the Jedi we allow ourselves to show our emotions...but we do not allow ourselves to be controlled by them...we frown on beings who are bent on revenge and other emotions that would lead you to do things illogically...all apart from love...we are allowed to love and are allowed to do things based on our feelings of love for others..." he thought for a moment, trying to think what else he could tell the Aiki of the Jensaarai ethics...

"I suppose we are actually more prepared to fight in our own defense than the Jedi are...if someone is threatening us with violence we will give them violence in return if it is thought of as being able to help...although we will not enter struggles which we know we will lose...but that is really all we are bound by...apart from that we follow our own instincts...they generally do not lead us wrong..." he drank some of the tea which the droid had delivered for him and the Aiki master then continued speaking...

"Well, I am full myself my friend...so unless you require some other food then I would very much like to get to training with you...I beleive it will take some time for us to learn all we can from each other and I would very much like to start as soon as possible...if that is alright with you...?" he let the last words drift off...

Jaymach concluded and the Nohgri took another contemplative sip of tea.

"Mmm, well, Ethics and a code are close enough to be considered almost one and the same. By their own deffinitions both words are the words that we of any force order base our actions upon. The Aiki too know that there is a place in the life of a force user for emotion. For with out it, well, lets just say that the Aiki know that progeny is more then likely genetic in nature. That and those that deny their emotions are at the behest of the dark sides beckons. Or so I was lead to believe from historic records."

"I am curious. how would one know that a fit can or cannot be won? A solution is far from ever being totally certain under any set of circumstances." He sat awaiting an answer while sipping at his tea.

Once supplied he took note that the meal was indeed at an end. Time to move on to other more pressing matters.

*Most pressing.* He thought grimly.

"Yes training. I wish to go back to my search metitations. There are some techniques involved that are unique to the Aiki. Ones that can be enhanced by the prescence of a second force users power." He implied his meaning hoping that Jay followed him.

((Stupid ezboards messed up my post...))

"I am curious. how would one know that a fit can or cannot be won? A solution is far from ever being totally certain under any set of circumstances."

As soon as he said this Jaymach immediately knew that he had worded the statement wrong...and tried to fix what he had said...

"What I meant, Master Nogar, is that we do not enter into situations in which the only possible outcome is defeat...if there is even the smallest possibility of a good outcome then we will engage...but if, for example, a fleet of star destroyers came and we had but 1 single starfighter, then we would not engage as there is no possible way to win an engagement such as this...I trust that you will not argue on that example?" And then the Aiki Master spoke once more...

"Yes training. I wish to go back to my search metitations. There are some techniques involved that are unique to the Aiki. Ones that can be enhanced by the prescence of a second force users power."

He detected the Aiki Masters none too subtle hint that he wished Jaymach to follow him...

"If you wish me to join you in this excercise then I would be more than happy to do it...I would be honored in fact to see what sort of things the Aiki do...I may even learn something from it...but as I said...you need only ask and I shall come..." Jaymach knew that the Aiki would invite him already but wished to hear the words actually come from Irman's mouth...

The upper levels of the Alderaanian Guard Homebase were rarely if ever visited by any of the higher ups. As such Toryn Sabreen, director of the Guard, was only vaguely familiar with the area. Garbbed in his official fatiques that Identify him as the Commander of the guard he was saluted many times.

He followed his Teras Kasi senses to the being that he sought. Master Nogar was in the process of searching for the Observer. His efforts were rewarded with an insight that somehow told him that she was indeed alive somewhere out there. New evidence from the Vinda Corperation indicated a further lead.

His pursuit brought him into the bustling cafeteria. The smell of many exotic foods permeates the air. In the middle of the area sits his quarry. The small gray form of Irman Nogar sits at a table with a Jensaarai Ring defender that he was not familiar with.

"Master Nogar. Ring Defender." He greeted the pair politely by with a tinge of urgency in his voice, "I am sorry to interupt but I have need to speak with you on a new development. One that is best discussed in private."

Jaymach was about to stand up to go with the Aiki master when another being joined the conversation...Jaymach had not met this one...nor could he sense any real Force strength within him...that could mean only 1 of 2 things...he was 1 of the Alderaanian Guard or he was a Teras Kasi...he was about to greet this newcommer when he spoke...

"Master Nogar. Ring Defender. I am sorry to interupt but I have need to speak with you on a new development. One that is best discussed in private."

"Greetings, I do not beleive we have met...I am Jaymach Ral'Tir...as you already know, a Jensaarai Ring Defender...I assume that you wish to speak with Master Nogar? Of course I would be happy to join you unless the information you have is for his eyes only?" he turned to the Aiki Master and sent a quick telepathic question to him...

'Do you know this being...and is it you that he seeks? I am assuming he does not want me...'

"Yes a pleasure as almays Master Sabreen." Irman made a small nod. Taking a last sip of tea he stands.

'You assume incorrectly Jaymach. If you are to learn the ways of the Aiki you are privy to all that I know.'

"Mister Jaymach shall accompany us. I am sure that well be alright?"

With his head held high with the air of authority he give the Jensaarai a look over. He feels his force strength with the Teras Kasi senses.

Light is all that he feels. There is no hint of deception or confusion that could even possibly result in darkness tendencies that could be noted as a threat. One part of being a Master in the art of Teras kasi is not to ever totally trust a force user until you have taken their measure.

He Glances from Aiki to Jensaarai and back, "He may come. But under you eye Nogar."

He speaks to the Nohgri with a mix of respect and warning. Nothing shall compromise his operations. He waves the pair forward indicating that they should follow him.

"Greyy is awaiting us in the lowwer levels with Strike and several others. So we do not want to keep them waiting." With that last word he turns and is on his way.

'It seems my assumption was in fact correct, Master Nogar...he doesn't seem to want me...merely accepts me as long as I'm with you...' was the quick message that Jaymach sent back to Irman after the other being spoke...

Greyy...yes...I have heard of Greyy...a very talented being indeed...or so I have heard...I wander what could involve this many people of power... Jaymach thought to himself as he started following this new being...he very much wanted to find out what could be of so much importance...
