Points of View: Observers?

(OOC: Feeling a bit sick amigo. So I may not post for at least another day unless I feel better. Feel free to start talking irman's ear off about the Jensaarai though.)

There was a mess hall near the secluded location that Irman choose to occupy for his meditations.

The Alderaanian Guard Home Base was well stocked in terms of food. All manner of beings were dining there. In the back a group of wookiees were making shork work of some 'rare' meat. Every concievable species was present. Wookiees, rodians, Auymeshians, rodians, bothans the list went on like that for some time.

Irman stands at the buffet like line. He orders up a plate of Bothan Trall worms. Still wriggling and alive.

"Have your pick my friend. I have only recently gained a taste for live bothan dishes. There is no need for you to follow suit." The small five foot nohgri moves on to the end of the line presenting a small card that he had been given to cover food on the base. Jaymach had one as well.

"If we are to learn of one another we must learn the respective histories of our orders. Learning the past is the first step to paving the way for future endouvers. A saying of the Aiki masters of old."

Jaymach ordered a Synthsteak, rare. "I prefer my food not to move arround my plate my friend," he commented "although I must admit it does taste better the fresher it is". he followed the Aiki Master to the table, showing his card on the way, and sat down accross the table from him.

"You want to know of the history of the Jensaarai? Hmm, well our past is a rather darker one than most groups of the Light side...our founder, Nikkos Tyris, was a Jedi Master who found some...well...some documents of Sith heritage...all we know of these documents is that they contain some Sith techniques and certain documentation that said that the Jedi Knights of old in fact stole their techniques from the ancient Sith, and that many Sith teachings were in fact not of Dark origin...we still do not know if these documents are correct or if they were made up but they are certainly very ancient...from what I have been told, the Jedi saw us as Dark siders and so decided to put a stop to us...that is when they came and...murdered...as it was murder...the Masters of our order so as to stop our "Dark" teachings any further." he paused a moment to think about what he had just said but decided to go on, this was his tale and he would tell it as he had been told.

"At this time there was still many students who the Jedi did not murder, and were not detected. These students still had enough training materials to learn all of the old ways apart from the ancient Sith documents which have yet to be translated to this day. Unfortunately, these students also viewed the Jedi as evil dark siders as they murdered their teachers, and friends, and so we were led to beleive also until quite recentley." he thought for a moment to remember the exact events that occured in the next few years

"When the Jedi purge occured, the Saarai-Kaar's son went to Darth Vader to request in aiding him in wiping out the Jedi, as we were still under the unfortunate misconception that they were evil at that time, and he was slain by the Dark Lord, as he had only been trained in the ways of the Light and so was considered another threat to the Sith Lord. The Imperials then occupied our planet, Suarbi 7/5, so as to try to eliminate us. Fortunately for us we had developed methods of using the Force to hide us from their sensors and so we survived the purge, although we were still under Imperial control until the new Jedi Praxeum was formed." again he paused for a minute, simply trying to remember the exact names of the beings involved at the next point that was pivotal in the Jensaarai history.

"That is when an ex-Imperial, Leonia Tavira I beleive her name was, found us and 'freed' us from our Imperial captors...at least that was what we thought at the time. She used us to capture a being named Mirax Terrik, as part of some plan she had to find another being, her mate, called Corran Horn. This was partially successful as he did come but what happened was not to her liking. This Jedi, Corran Horn, found out about our existence and sought us out, alone at the time but later accompanied by another being who was much stronger in the Force, Luke Skywalker. They revealed the truth about the lies which we had been led to beleive for so many years, and we finally knew that the Jedi were not evil, but of the Light side, and we accepted to send some of our younger students to the Jedi Academy which had been recentley founded. They trained for quite some years at this Jedi 'Praxeum' as it was called, eventually coming home with a few new Force powers and also some outlooks on the Force. They taught these powers to our Saarai-Kaar and she, in turn, taught them to her students, including myself." he grew a small smile of pride but it quickly faded as he proceeded to the end of his long history...

"We, in turn, taught many more students the ways of both the Jensaarai and the Jedi. We decided to stay out of the mainstray of galactic affairs, hiding our entire planet from any electronic sensors by using our skills constantley. Then the Jedi named Vonta Horn, your own student you ave said, found out about us and came to our planet to learn our ways. Of this I know very little, she spent much time with our Saarai-Kaar, and learned much during her stay." he thought if he should add anything further but couldn't think of anything.

"I beleive that is all I can tell you of the Jensaarai, Master Nogar." he smiled slightly as he realised just how much time had passed since he started telling the Aiki about his order...

The Nohgri only sat and listened while his four armed companion finished his tail.

"Quit the tail indeed." he made a small smile.

On his plate half of the worms were gone already.

"I think that it is only fair that I begin now. Seeing as I can afford to let my live fair alone for a bit and still have them be good later." He glanced at the steak, if that is what it really is, Irman knows that synth- can mean artificial in nature, "Your meat well not taste the best if it gets any colder."

"The Aiki order." The master leans back in his seat looking at the cieling.

"Where to begin." He brings his chin down to look at Jaymach again,"My order is an old one, not as old as the jed,i but still quite old."

"My order begain with Master Morehie. Now his race was much like that of master yoda's only they live to be even older then yoda's race. 900 years ago Morehie was a student of the jedi arts. He too was a scholar of the other force arts just like Vonta.

He learned of the Shimura monks. How they used the force in unarmed fighting techniques that were superior to many jedi fighting styles. Shimuran's differ with the jedi in on important detail.

They dispise the use of technology. Thinking that it is best to be able to use the force as your only weapon. The order chose not to associate with the galaxey at large for that reason. Chosing the path of seclusion and isolation.

Morehie learned thier ways. Becoming a master of techniques that turn his body into a weapon of the force. His techniques were so effective that he found he could fight and win without ever killing a being. So the most ardent principle of the Aiki was founded. An Aiki well never take a life with the lessons that he learns.

For the hundereds of years that followed the order grew. Encompassing a number that was comparable to the jedi. There were years when we lost many to age and to the jedi. Some returned to the old ways. None were ever forced to stay though.

In these later years the Aiki experimented with weapons. We were masters of our bodies but it was found that a light saber is still one of the most deadly weapons to encounter. Many Aiki died becuase they could not totally defend againest them.

The master experemented with empowered staffs and swords. Creating power that we could channel through them that were quite effective. And yet the light saber was still such a powerful tool.

One of his students was a famed weapons smith. For the master he forged the Light-bo. A weapon powered by Aiki energies and not an artificial power source. The Bo was solid light energy. But the ends are energy, just like the light saber. So the master had a weapon that equaled the mobility of the light saber.

At the great purge all force users were sought out. Every last member of the Aiki was hunted down and killed with an over whelming force. Until only the master remained.

In his final confrontation with lord Vader it is recorded that it was at this time that he ever killed. The sith lord brought ten inquisitors with him. All ten died fighting him. Lord vader himself was maimed. Only when palpatine himself stepped in and unleashed his force lightening did Morehie finally die."

Irman took a sip from his water. He was wondering if Jaymach would pick up on a discrepancy. If no one was left then who taught him?

As soon as the Noghri mentioned his steak he remembered that he was here to eat, talking was simply an extra and started to dig into his food.

He listened attentatively as the Aiki Master told him of his order...always making mental notes of things to ask after the Noghri was finished but not wanting to interrupt him as he had been patient and waited while Jaymach told him of the Jensaarai.

As the Noghri came to an end, Jaymach immediately started asking the questions he had been saving.

"So, Master Nogar, the Aiki Order have all the abilities of these Monks of Shimura yet they use technology? If this was the case then why did all of the Jedi not learn the ways of the Aiki? It seems to me that it would be the prudent thing to do...to try to learn as much as you can. And you say that there was a master weaponsmith that created the Light-bo...yet I see that you, yourself, carry that very weapon...is it the same one as you spoke of or another that you made yourself?" he paused for a second before asking his final, most important question...

"And you also say that all the Aiki were wiped out...I can not beleive this to be true as you are very real...if they were all wiped out then it would not be possible for you to have the skills that you do...so how is it that you have acquired them?" he smiled slightly as he realized that the Aiki Master had probably left out that detail for Jaymach to pick up on and ask about.

He caught on well enough.

"Prudent questions Jaymach. The tapestry of my life is a curious one indeed." He puases before continuing.

"The way of the Aiki is based on the way of the Shimura. But only based. Our powers are derived in different fashions. Of which is a story for another day.

As for our stand on technology. While the Aiki order does not abhore the use of all technology or those that use it. We do believe that it is a crutch that can be relied on too much. So although we do object to those that use it. We try to avoid it's use as much as possible.

As to the Light-bo I carry. Well, that answer is intertwined with your next question. As to how I came to be trained in my order.

The Aiki order was all but wiped out. The last rememant was the Light-bo. The weapon is ancient and a technology that could have been valuable if it's ways were recreated. So it fell into the same place that all of Papaltines secret toys went. To the planet Wayland, to reside in the innerds of Mount Tantiss.

The Nohgri have a colony there. Darth vader placed us there under the impression that he was our savior. Honogarm, our home planet was laid to waste by the empire. They had need of our skills as watchers of the lair. So we were lied to and decieved to fit the task set before us.

I was an anomally in my people. All of my life I had a feeling that the lord was not all that he said that he was. So I never felt right in following him.

One day I recieved a feeling that beckoned me to the mount. I could not ignore it for what I felt, felt right to me. I followed the unsaid direction and entered Tantiss to find the light-bo under lock and key.

With it in hand I had a vision of master Morehie. He beckoned me to go to a place called Obrai-Skai. I knew not who he was but he felt like the opposite of Vader so I thought that he was on the path that I needed to be on.

On Obrai-Skai I found an ancient hide away. Built hundereds of years before. Completely hidden from the Empire. There Was the Librairy of the Aiki. In a final appearance the Master bid me to study the ways of the Aiki. To be the last of his dead order and to one day ressurect it.

I lived and trained there as a hermit for 40 years. My only real company was the holocron of the Aiki. The only real teacher that I ever had."

He pulled out the pouch that he had been carrying. From it he removed a small, ornately designed box, "This is a holo-cron. The Ancient technology stored all that was known of the History and ways of the Aiki. I learned all that I could from the image of master Morehie store in this device."

((The Noghri homeplanet is Honoghr :P lol))

-----------------------

"Ah, yes, I have heard of these Holocrons...I hear they hold great power and are sought after by many...there are not a lot known to exist...how could one of them be on Obrai-Skai without anyone knowing of its existance?" he raised his eyebrow slightly

"I know there are ways for one to hide things from conventional sensors...the Jensaarai themselves perfected that knowledge and it is one of the skills that are unique to our order, so I know that the Aiki could not have did this...which is why I find it rather strange that it remained hidden..." he thought about what else he could say for a few seconds before speaking...

"And if you were alone for so long, don't you find the abundance of peolpe here rather...distracting? I myself am used to it...always having lived within a community of people, both on my homeplanet and on Susevfi, training to become the Jensaarai I am today...although we did have to remain very secrative for quite some time...sorry...I ramble..." he stared at the Holocron for a few breif moments...

"May I be able to see this Holocron that has been able to teach you your ways? I am very intersted in how it works..."

Irman made a small deep throated chuckle, "Ha-ha, Hummm-hmmm."

He clears his voice so that he may speak properally, "All beings have time to learn from their mistakes my dear sentient. I for one was not the most well spoken nohgri before I trained in the way of the Aiki."

With only a momentary puase to take a sip of water he continues, "The Aiki Librairy on Obrai-Skai was built deep under ground with only a singe way in or out. As I mentioned before. The Aiki were founded hundereds of years ago. Quite simply the city was built around the librairy and some one managed to have any mention of it deleted from all data banks with reguard to architecture plans."

"The way of the Aiki is also the way of a Peace Maker, scholar, and warrior. I spent 40 years in a librairy learning not only ways to fight but about galactic history and liturature. Through such outlets I learned to know people by recordings of thier thoughts and accomplishments. For an Aiki being around sentients is like eating and breathing. That and I would not be able to restore my order with out the best of skills." Concluding he opens the lid of the box from which a triangle shaped device was revealed. The box, as beutifully decorated as it was, paled in comparison to the holocron. The Device looked more like a decorated precious jewel or priceless piece of art then any sort of technology.

He hands it over the the Jensaarai. "Hold it from the bottom or the edges. I do not want to accidently activate it in such surroundings."

((Sorry for not posting sooner, small personal problems to deal with))

-----------------------

"You must be both patient and powerful, having studied for so long in solitude..." he finished his steak and put it to one side as he was offered the Holocron...

Jaymach received the Holocron, holding it as he was instructed to, careful not to activate it...not that he would know how to even if he wanted to...

"An interesting device" Jaymach stated as he started to float it in the air, turning it in all directions so as to insepct every area of it.

"Very interesting indeed...may I inquire as to how one would activate it? It does not appear to have any visible controls...I assume that you activate it by other means?" he looked over it once again...

"Indeed a very interesting device...who would assume that it held the entire knowledge of the Aiki Order..." his voice trailed off...

(OOC: Wrong account oyy. Well at least this is the first accidental wrong account post in months for me.)

"Pacient, yes. But power is only a means by which pacients may be used. Or so the Aiki masters of old taught." Raising one hand he called a serving droid over to them. Taking only a moment to order a cup of tea before continueing.

"The Holocron is a wonderous and mysterious technology. It is activated when it senses the force strength of a person that touches it. There are other ways of activating it but that is the one that is the easiest to understand. On the sides that you are avoiding I have figured out that that is where the devices force detecting sensors are located."

The Jensaarai holds it delicately with the reverance that it deserves.

"It was my guide those many years. That brings me to wonder though. How do the Jensaarai pass down their art? I have studied the ways of teaching in theory. But I have only had one pupil. I would like very much to hear how others go about teaching their force craft."

((Lol...I was waitin for u 2 make a mistake...knew u wud have 2 sometime...uve got so many damn people lol :P))

-----------------------

"Ah, I see, that makes sense...it doesn't allow for anyone who should not hold the knowledge to access it at all...very clever indeed..." he continued studying the Holocron...taking in every detail so that he may remember it for later use...

"You wish to know how the Jensaarai are trained? Well...it has changed greatly recentley since our ranks have swelled more than they have ever seen before...originally, before the original Jedi came, all Jensaarai were taught by Nikkos Tyris, the one who found the original Sith documentation...then after the Jedi came and he was defeated one of his students took up the position of Saarai-Kaar and then she trained us all...recentley, however, that has been all but impossible as there are too many of us...so she gave permission for being such as myself, the Defenders and Ring Defenders, to train the younger until they were as strong, if not stronger, than we were ourselves." as he said this his mood changed slightly to one of regret...

"I myself have not had a student yet...I have wished one for a long time but none have ever came to seek my wisdom...so I suppose this will be a first for me completely...educating you in my ways I mean..." he smiled slightly

"I am glad to have a student...even if that student is also my master..." he chuckled "Which is a rather strange thing indeed...I am sorry...I have asked many questions about your order and you yourself...is there anything else you would like to know about me or the Jensaarai?" he raised an eyebrow when he finished the sentance...and handed the Holocron back the the Noghri.
