"The only thing I want to seize is my lost memory and cure." she said, somewhat sharply. "Why would I want to stay as something that forces me to kill just to survive?" She continued to watch the buildings and vehicles zip by and sighed. "But maybe I only want to be 'normal' because I don't know what 'normal' was for me before I lost my memory." She added quietly. "Who knows...maybe my life before was worse then this..." She turned her gaze to him. "Tell me...what good can I use this...curse...for? If I am to 'seize' it as you suggest I should..."

Lupercus shrugged, going through mental gymnastics to figure out an answer that wouldn't make him seem like well, him. He sipped as he lifted the glass to lips, still unable to come up with a serious answer.
"You're probably right. Unless you can revel in who you are, you could never amount to anything. Such is the way of all things."
He smiled now as he saw the impact of his words. He had just admitted to the Trandoshan being messed up.
"But revenge always remains a powerful motivator..."

She frowned, both saddened and angered by his response. Still she couldn't deny the truth of what he said: life wasn't exactly fair was it? She was living proof of that...
She continued to watch the world zip by from her seat in the vehicle, all those other people just going about their daily lives with not a care of anyone else but themselves. Selfishness seemed to be a rampant trait among sentient beings in general, her species in particular seemed to reveal in it. Trandoshans made a living off of eliminating beings weaker then themselves and despite her memory loss she continued to live that path in her own...unquine...way. But there in lies a problem, only male Trandoshans even left their homeworld...so what was she doing this far from home in the first place? The answer she knew lay in her lost memory, which still refused to reveal it's secrets.
Still, perhaps this life wasn't so bad after all...if she foudn a way to actually profit from her killings. Maybe fate decided to send this man her way to help her achieve that. But first she had to deal with her pursuers...who ever they are.
"Yes...revenage is." she said quietly. "But until my memory returns I won't know who to punish. A cure may not be so necessary...I can thank them instead, by taking their lives."

Before the Hapan could reply the car shuddered to a halt having reached Lupercus's laboratory. He finished his drink and got out without a word.
When he was outside he spoke.
"This is my current adobe, beware of the mess inside."

She climbed out of the vehicle, nearly bumping her head on the edge of open door in the process. Instinctively she looked around her, two months of moving from shadow to shadow trying to avoid being seen made evident in her cautious behavior: old habits die hard. With it still being night there weren't many about, though she still felt wary for being out in the open like this.
She gave the building they stopped in front of a quick look over. It didn't look all that astonishing to her, though she was living proof that appearances could be deceiving.
"I'm sure I've seen just as bad or worse messes in my life." She said with a faint smile. "Course I don't currently remember any, but who knows...maybe seeing your mess will trigger a memory to surface."
She didn't move toward the door though, knowing full well the door likely had some form of security he would need to clear first. Besides...she felt going in before her host would be rude...

From inside his hovercar the driver deactivated the basic anti-intrusion sensors, allowing the pair access. Now on the pavement with a view of the dingy region of Coruscant in which he 'worked' Lupercus was quick to enter the 'house'.
As she stepped inside she entered a small atrium which opened out into what appeared to be a single room. In the corner amongst chains lay the body upon which he had been experimenting and all across the apartment lay various items which could, but probably wouldn't, indicate Lupercus' status.
The shattered beaker still lay on the floor, while various peices of training equipment sat about in various stages of use and disuse. Behind them almost hidden in an alcove of the wall was another doorway, which would lead to a lavish bathroom and fairly large kitchen, well stocked with foods and alcohol.
As he ushered her in, Lupercus gestured to the body.
"As i said, revenge can be a powerful motivator."
He smiled, then continued to enter his home, as if that was simply enough of an explaination for the Transdoshan.

She simply nodded and wondered briefly what the once living body had done to deserve such a fate, but it was none of her business. Instead she looked around, trying to see if anything would trigger a memory to surface. The place was indeed a bit of a mess, but that didn't bother her: having lived on the streets for the past two months tended to desensitise one to filth and this wasn't even close to some of the areas she had to live in.
Some thing on one of the tables caught her eye. It was a lab style table with beakers and various other lab type equipment set on it in no particular order. Again she felt something tug at her mind and she fought to grab hold of it and bring it to the surface. The beakers made this 'tugging' feeling particularly strong and soon she remembered something grey...no...silver in color in one of them. It was then she was thrown into a rather fragmented flash back:
The room was white and reaked of disinfectant.
A couple of humans in white lab coats doing something at a table at the far end of the room.
"...hope this one survives..."
She couldn't move, strapped down as she was. Her cries of protest were ignored.
One of the men was holding a beaker, partly full of a silvery liquid.
A sringe was fulled with that liquid, the man holding it approaching her.
Watching in horror as the sringe was inserted into a vein on her arm...and the liquid injected into her.
Pain. Her screaming. Blackness.
"...failure..."
"...despose of the body..."
The flashback ended there and she gasped. She looked at her arm where that man had injected that liquid into her, but there was no sign of the injection site: her body had healed up the spot long ago.
"I just...remembered something..." She said and proceeded to tell him what she just recalled.

Lupercus was quick to muse that the methods sounded entirely Imperial in nature, but didn't. Instead he commented on the liquid.
"Well, at least we know what it was. Some kind of poison or somesuch."
He paused again in thought.
"The Black Dragon Empire is a group of highly advanced technological capabilities.
Its quite likely to be them. 'Cept they aren't human, they're robotesque..."
He paused before indicating towards the lab table.
"Perhaps i should take a sample and take a look?"

A poison could be the reason why she is this freaky coloration she realized, but wasn't so sure. Silver seemed to be an odd color for a poison to her, maybe for something toxic like mercury. But from what her flashback revealed it seemed they wanted her to survive it...even though they didn't actually do anything to keep her from 'dieing'.
A part of her wanted to 'awaken' more of her memories rather then find out what for sure was injected into her system. However, if this man could find out what it was...it could lead her to who did this to her in the first place. And confronting those people could awaken even more memories...
"If you can determine what it was exactly...it could lead me to who did this to me...and more of my missing memory." She said, holding out one arm.

Nodding the Sith quickly took a sample. It would have usually been hard to peirce the skin of a trandoshan but Lupercus was quite practiced at said skill.
He quickly moved it towards the table upon which a high tech set of scientific equipment lay. He took only a few moments to place it on the tools and begin his examination. As he continued looking he spoke.
"From such a cursory examination i can't determine anything, although the genetic encoding appears to have something interesting.
A signiture of sorts, indicating who 'created' whatever it is that changed you. It comes from Khommite cloning facilities, meaning this may well have been done to you by the Outer Rim Sovereignty."
He smiled.
"I know this because they are at war with the Empire, they are currently a facination of mine."
As he fiddled the equipment hummed. Unbeknownst to the Trandoshan it began running a full subatomic scan, relaying the information to Imperial High Command's private databases.
Only half a dozen odd men in the galaxy had access to them, a true wealth of information and probably the most complete database in the known universe.
"It seems we have something in common now."
He smiled.
"At least, other than drinking blood..."
