They had conducted the most disgusting, pathetic action in the history of pathetic actions...mutiny. Admiral Joe Schmoe had attempted mutiny and treachery against his emperor, and now Fearsons was here to cash in his chips. Aboard his flagship, the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Imperial<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->-Class Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Disruptor<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->, he stood readied, his men armed and set in the decks below. They'd attempted to steal his jewel, his prize...his Eclipse Star Destroyer, but thanks to strategic thinking, he managed to transfer the construction, and now Chimera Fleet had a choice...carry through with their civil war, or back down now and lose everything they'd worked for.
His objectives were clear: Render Sluis Van completely useless to those below. The denizens of the popular planet would either learn to hate, or to love Emperor Fearsons and his empire, there were no indifferences here, not in this civil war. Knowing how Chimera Fleet thrived like a leech on Fearsons' arm, their entire command was based around the <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Victory<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->-Class Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Tyrant<!--EZCODE ITALIC END-->...which would undoubtably stop at nothing to defend their shipyards. Foolishly enough, they did not even request space stations be built over the system, and with thus the admiral doomed himself to impecable failure.
The emperor looked from his bridge to either side of his fleet, there were plenty of ships here to completely crush the Chimera Fleet, but the goal was not to crush, but to humiliate and render. Their gunships would be the only true issue in this battle, with their potential to knock out the missile boats and TIEs, but he had plans to override that. He had specially designed TIE Interceptors that would easily clear those. All in all, this was going to be an easy battle, if there was one at all.
He turned to his comms officer, whom was stuck in a conversation with Admiral Wyldan. "Lieutenant," he said, and in turn the lieutenant snapped to attention and saluted. "At ease. Now, open me a channel with the Chimera Fleet, we will, and I repeat, we <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> will<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> not negotiate terms that will grant Sluis Van independance, if they want it, they'll have to fight me for it."
"Yes sir," the lieutenant responded, and immediately sat to open the link. In a matter of seconds, it was open, and on the Star Destroyer <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Tyrant<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> a life size holographic figure of Emperor Fearsons appeared in all his glory.
