Kamon turned to Adrian and nodded to him. Then he raised a finger to his lips. Drawing on the Force he spoke to Adrian.
Master Kahn is busy Adrian. He is conversing with the Sith that I have gathered to be Malice Draclau.
Kamon sat on the ground cross legged and went into a meditation. During this meditation, he searched the planet for darkside presences. There was only the one, and he was near. Too near.

Malice chuckled at Kahn's answer to him.
(You think your comfortable Kahn, but you just wait. Those feelings you have inside will never go away. In time, they will make you realize that path you must truly walk. For once you start down the path of the darkside......forever will it be with you)
Malice wanted to se if he could nudge Kahn towards the darkside more. Draing upon te dark energy, letting his presense be felt all around him. The darkside flowed from his body like a raging river, blanketing the area around him. He could sense the lightside around Kahn grow as more jedi came to him. No matter, Malice simply let his darkside energy flow towards them. Enveloping them in it's dark grasp.

Kahn had not been promoted to the rank of Master for no reason; he knew what Malice was trying to do, and he didn't like it at all. They had been friends long enough for the Jedi Master to know how the Sith's mind worked; he would never tire of trying to turn Kahn to the Dark Side, which meant Kahn would always have to be on-guard while near him.
Kahn was quite confident that he had defeated the Darkness that had inhabited him; flashes of anger and the like worried him, but the Dark Side itself had been unable to find a home in him. There was danger because of his emotions after Hanna's death, but so far he had managed to let any fear or anger run through him; it was just the grief and sadness that remained.
Concentrating for a moment, the Jedi Master called on the Light Side, driving back the Dark shadow that Malice had been forcing onto the group of Jedi. He sent a message to the Sith, his mental 'voice' now serious and warning.
Do not try to toy with me, Malice; you will not win. Keep your quarrel between us, and do not involve my brethren. I will not ask you again.
With that, Kahn cut off the channel in the Force that had been used for their conversation. He had no desire to speak with the Sith further, not in that way.
Having heard Adrian's question, as well as getting some gauge of what had passed between Kenshin and his Padawan, the Jedi Master smiled once more.
"I'm getting along, Adrian. Not as well as I would like to be, but I'm getting along. I appreciate your concern."
Kahn hesitated only a moment before continuing, his gaze turning distant as he spoke.
"My wife died recently; I've been having a bit of trouble coping, nothing to worry about."
Now he blinked, as if coming back into the present. His tone had been slightly off, colored by grief.

Adrian ‘heard’ Kamon’s mental communiqué and, looking to Kahn’s face, saw the look of concentration that was there. Kamon sat down on the grass beside them and began meditating, while Ewan stood off to one side and Adrian remained alert, ready to come to his Master’s aid if the need arose.
All were silent for a moment, while Kahn ‘dealt’ with the Sith; and then his features relaxed and he turned to Adrian. When he spoke his voice controlled, but he glanced away from his apprentice almost immediately, and his tone faltered.
Hearing what Kahn was talking about, Adrian could understand why his Master was in the state that he was in. He was unable to empathise, as he had never been through an experience quite like that before; but Adrian could offer his condolences and sympathy.
“I’m... sorry to hear that, Master,” the Knight began, feeling Kahn’s gaze return to him. “I really am. I know that this is hard for you, and that you have to take this at your own speed; but if you need to talk, I’ll be here.”

Kamon smiled as he prepared to speak.
"We'll all be here for you Master Kahn. We are all your friends and will remain that way."
He stood up and stretched.
"I feel like training some with my lightsaber. Anybody care to join me?"
"He looked around the group of Jedi. He waited for a response or none at all.

Grateful for the change of subject, Kahn nodded his agreement with Kamon's suggestion. He still wasn't comfortable dwelling on the topic of Hanna's death for too long; he wasn't sure if he had entirely accepted it all yet.
"I think that is an excellent idea, Kamon."
A smile came to the Jedi Master's lips, but it didn't quite manage to cover the grief that had moved across his face briefly.
He nodded to Adrian, a silent acknowledgement of his thanks for his Padawan's sympathy. He sent a message to Adrian through the Force, though it was made up more of feelings than words. The meaning was clear:
I don't really want to talk about it now, but thank you, Padawan.

Kamon smiled.
"You want to spar with me? I'm going to get more practice than I anticipated."
He moved a few feet away from the group and drew his lightsaber. He fell into an agressive position. Seeing as the Jedi preferred defence, Kamon decided to pit his attacking versus Kahn's defense.

Before the group of jedi, an image of Malice appeared. Kahn could easily tell it was an illusion. Within the jedi master's head, Malice's voice was still heard.
(So, that's what's gotten you like this. You have lost someone close to you, and you can barely take it. now you know what it feels)
Infront of the jedi's, he figure surrounded by a billowing white cloak began to grin, though no sound whatsoever came out from him.
(The feelings you have now Kahn will eat you alive. Soon, you will have no choice but to come back to the darkside)
With that the image disappeared, and so did Malice's presense in the force. he sit maser was leaving, leaving the jedi's to their own thoughts. He had many opportunities to catc Kahn alone.
