<font color=blue>A songbird somewhere in the forests of Naboo let out a long and clear note, the sound trilling into the silence of the landscape. The slight dampness of morning dew clung to everything as the sun's first rays bathed the horizon in a soft pink shadow.

It was a new day, a new beginning. A chance to fix mistakes, to lbe given a fresh start and a clean slate. Not many of Naboo's inhabitants were awake to witness the breathtaking scene that nature provided, but there was a lone Jedi who watched as the majesty of Naboo was revealed.

Dressed in a tan jumpsuit, the Jedi Master sat cross-legged on a patch of grass that was slightly higher than the surrounding land, giving him a vantage point to see from. The sound of his breathing was slow and rhythmic as he meditated. As his blue eyes opened to view the peaceful scene, there was a hint of some troubling emotion within the Jedi. It was a sense of mourning, a sense of grief that was difficult to pick up on the Master, except by those who knew him well.

Jedi Master Kahn stood up, his hand straying to his lightsaber on his belt. It was a simple design, clear and concise. However, there was one new change to the weapon. Running his thumb over the handle, Kahn felt the grooves of letters that had been cut into the metal. They were symbols of an old Jedi form of writing, one that was rarely used but could still be found in the Jedi Library. The first was a character for one who had been lost, and the second represented an undying love. The third was a symbol for unborn children, twins. It was Kahn's own silent tribute to Hanna Skywalker, whose ship had exploded one month ago. She had been pregnant with tow life forms that they had created together.

Although he had come a long way in the grieving process, the Jedi Master was still mourning the death of his wife. He had changed after she left his life; he had become more withdrawn and quiet. There was a tinge of sadness to his features now, and his smile wasn't as bright. But as a Jedi, Kahn had dutifully let any anger or fear that he had felt run through him, so that no potentially harmful emotions could gain a latch inside him.

It was time now, after a long leave from training Padawans and engaging in Jedi activity, for Kahn to return to his life. He had been granted time off after Hanna's death, but he felt that now he needed to be doing something, something that would make Hanna proud of him, and perhaps ease his aching heart.

Letting the pure white blade come to life with a hum, Kahn moved gracefully through an exercise, his motion fluid and sure. The blade of energy cut through the air with his sure movements, and he shut his eyes as he felt the Light Side flow through him.

OOC: Open to anyone, though I would prefer that this doesn't turn into a spar if a Sith joins in.

Tem sat the rented speeder, debating. His feet were propped up directly in front of him, on the wind break. Arms behind his head, he sat gazing into the sky.

Debating.

Directly in front of him was a valley, going straight down. The view, fantastic. The drop, vertical.

His hand toyed with the ignition key. The accelerator was fused to the floor by a small weld.
One flip, and over the edge.

What was there to live for?

One flip...

And an exhilarating fall; and a swift death on the ground below.

A quick end to the pain, the pain of love long lost.

Just a twist of the wrist.

The sun broke, and rays traced there way down, bathing everything in a lovely golden light.

Ewan was about to become a Padawan and make his journey towards the lightside. He was in his StarFighter heading to a beautiful, glamarous planet called Naboo to rest.He entered the atmosphere after 4 hours of flying. He landed on the outskirts and got out and walked towards the suprises that Naboo had to show off to him.

The water shined, the grass waved in the warm calm breeze and the buildings as clean as a sheet of glass,it was paradise for anyone that took a vacation here.Ewan entered the city and walked through it,it was quiet all you could here was birds singing and the waterfall crashing down into the ground below. This is what Ewan wanted for a long time.

Kamon had been on Naboo for a few days now. It was his favorite spot to relax after missions, or troubling work. He also liked it because it was the home of the Jedi. Not the Rogue Jedi, but the Jedi. All Jedi were welcome.

He strolled through the forest and plains, listening to the peaceful sounds of the birds in the air. He loved birds. They were so peaceful and graceful. They brought happiness in times of sadness.

He exited the forest onto a large plain. At one end of the plain, a large hill rose out of the ground. On the top, he could see a figure with a lightsaber. He assumed it was a Jedi and wouldn't have bothered to go talk to him, had the figure not looked familiar.

He jogged through the plain toward the hill. Tall grasses surrounded the hill, and he lost view of the figure momentraily. Exiting the grass, he jogged up the hill. Once at the top, he found that he did in fact know the Jedi on the hill.

Kamon smiled and bowed to the Jedi Master as he spoke.

"Greetings, Master Kahn. It has been some time since I have had the pleasure of speaking with you. I trust all is well in the universe withy you?"

<font color=blue>The Force was an element that existed throughout the entire galaxy, penetrating and binding all of the life forms and inanimate objects together with one another. There were still those who dismissed both the Force and the Jedi as out-dated magicians whose tricks had lost their glamour. However, to any Force Sensative being, the Force was a very real element. It could be felt as a physical and mental touch by those who were in tune with it.

His concentration on the Light Side and his exercises, Kahn was aware of Kamon approaching before he spoke to the Master. The Force had let off gentle ripples, alerting him that another of his kind was near.

Kahn did not often make divisions between the 'pure' Jedi and the Rogue Jedi, as he believed they were stronger united than divided. Of course, he did not entirely agree with some of the Rogue Jedi philosophies, but so long as thier own actions did not interfere with his own duties, Kahn was content to let each go on his own path.

The white beam of energy retracted with a crackle, and the Jedi Master opened his eyes to turn and face Kamon, returning the greeting gesture with a slight bow of his own.

"Indeed time has passed, my friend. Too much time, perhaps."

Momentarily, the shadow of grief crossed Kahn's features. However, it disappeared quickly.

"I have had some problems with the universe, but all in all I suppose I'm beginning to re-enter life once more. How have your own journeys been?"

Kamon grimaced as the flassh of grief crossed Kahn's face.

"I don't mean to pry, but something bad has happened. Hasn't it? It must have for you to have shown pain."

He sat down in the grass, and felt the flow of the Force that was in the grass. It was quite comforting.

Adrian woke with the dawn, as he always did, and turned his head to look out the chest-high window of his room, onto the grounds of the Jedi Academy. Birds were only just now stirring in the trees, as their voices broke the silence of the night before.

Adrian sat up in bed, then pushed off his sheets and moved over to the open window, where a soft morning breeze found its way into his room. The sky was already lightened, though only slightly, and even as he watched it grew in brightness.

Despite the newness of the day, there were already people out on the grounds. Jedi who had stayed there all night, and some who had only just come out, possibly to witness the dawn away from the confines of the Academy walls. More birds started singing, and the sky grew brighter.

Turning away from the window, Adrian pulled off his nightclothes and retrieved his tunic and cloak from the wardrobe. He dressed at a casual speed, pulling on pants and boots, then clipping his lightsabres to his belt.

Adrian moved out of the Academy and into the grounds at the same casual pace. Stopping every now and then to take in the morning air or observe other early-rising Jedi going through training, he was regardless in the grounds before long.

That day, the Knight had planned to take his speeder out of Theed and into a nearby forest, to study some data cards on Jedi history and meditate on the subject; the Clone War. He was taking a walk through the grounds first, though, before he planned to go to the library and pick up the information.

At that time, however, Adrian felt through the Force a familiar presence. He hadn’t felt it for a time, now, and it seemed the reason for him picking it up now was a momentary stab of pain. Not hard, but a memory. A memory of pain.

Abandoning his slow walk to the library, Adrian turned around and headed for his speeder.

OOC: “Force Grass”, LMAO!

<font color=blue>Once again, a shadowed veil of sadness seemed to come over the Jedi Master's features as Kamon questioned him further. Rather reluctantly, he took a seat next to his fellow Jedi in the grass.

Wetting his lips, he wondered how to begin. The emotions that he had felt for Hanna were strong, stronger than any other feelings he had ever had. When she died, it had felt as though the universe was coming down around him. Over time he had come to terms with the fact that she would not have wanted him to lose himself in grieving her death. The wound was still fresh on his heart, and it hurt to think about her. But a small voice inside of Kahn argued that perhaps talking about it might somehow lessen the burden.

"My wife, Hanna, died a short time ago. She carried two unborn children with her, our children. Hanna was-"

Here his voice broke slightly, as a memory came unbidden to his mind. Hanna and Kahn were walking along a path, joking with one another. In a fit of playfullness, they tackled one another, rolling on the ground like children. Then he had come on top and gazed into her eyes.....the thought of those eyes that were once so bright, so full of life, now dull and dimmed forever by death was not a pleasant one.

"She was my everything. It's been difficult for me to go on now that she's-"

Another pause, as if Kahn did not want to say the word. Dead. Dead, and never coming back. There was still a tiny part of him that refused to believe it.

"Now that she's not coming back."
