Logray and Kenshin, two Jedi Padawans on a trip to Endor

ooc: This is for more for me and Kenshin, but, if you feel the need to post something, you may go ahead.

bic: It had been a few days since Logray and Kenshin had spoken to each other in the gardens of the Jedi Academy. It was there that they decided to make a short trip to Endor. Kenshin had a ship they would use.

Logray had spent the last couple of days getting ready. He decided to take what he would really needed. He brought along his Jedi tunic, and his cloak. Hidden behind the deep green, close to black, cloak was his lightsaber given to him by Master Amalia. He had also brought some food supplies, but only a few days worth. He could forage in Endor if needed.

He waited in front of Kenshin's ship, or at least what someone told him was Kenshin's. He looked around, waiting for the other Padawan to come.

Kenshin arrived at the docking bay with a small backpack slung over his left shoulder. He had packed only the necessities; a change of robes, food rations, and a spare utility belt. Besides what he had in his pack, he had the khaki Jedi robes he was currently wairing and the deep olive green outer cloak that he shouldered. At his waist was the usual utility belt with the survival trinkets and his lightsabers.

Kenshin smiled and waved when he saw Logray. He pointed at a small, sleek, bluish sliver craft in the corner of the hanger.

"That's my ship, the Storm Shadow. What do you think?"

Logray stared at the ship he was pointing at. "Yes, that is a very nice ship. So, shall we get going?" The two placed a few items they brought in the ship, and Kenshin began to start it.

After showing Logray his small sleeping cubicle and readying his own, Kenshin stepped into the cockpit and plopped into the chair infront of the control panel. As he booted up the ship, he motioned for Logray to strap in as he did the same. He then set the coordinates and after easing the craft out of the docking bay, the Storm Shadow was crusing quietly on its way to Endor.

"It should only take a few days to get there.

So what or where are you planning to visit?"

" I want to see the forests again. Perhaps also I will go with you to see the outpost. I have seen very little of other cultures outside of mine. I could gain knowledge there, and learn more of how other people live." Logray looked back at Kenshin. "Where are you planning to visit?"

Kenshin grinned as he thought of the settlement.

"To visit everyone at the settlement would be great, but I want to see my small clearing the most. Lots of good memories there.

It would be nice to meet some of your Ewok friends too."

"Yes, it would be nice to see the village again. Perhaps we will arrive in time for one of their yearly festivals." Logray looked back at the area he was working in. "The village will be surprised to see two Jedi."

Kenshin smiled at the thought of a festival.

"If there's a festival, there's food. Where their is food, I go."

He laughed at his own comment.

"I'm sure they will be surprised to see us."

Logray laughed along with him. "I guess I will have to be a translater. Ewoks aren't always trusting of strangers. But once you do get their trust, they,we, are very friendly."

Kenshin grinned. He had seen Ewoks before but never really talked to them. They only came to the settlement to trade or when the scientists needed to interview them for information.

Kenshin stared out at the void of space.

"You should get some rest. We'll be arriving tomorrow morning. If you're hungry there are some rations in the storage compartment."
