Amarie nodded, seeing Jade pick up her bags to prepare to leave. For some reason, she felt sad to see her go.

"Thanks." she managed to murmur, lowering her gaze to the ground.

Kamon gave Jade a hug and a quick kiss before stepping back.

"Thanks for the help. And I don't know how long I will be away so Cole is in charge until I get back. You know how he is with his anti-imperial squads. I don't want to tamper with that."

He smiled at her.

"Come on, Amarie. Let's go."

Sticking out his hand, he waited for her to take it so they could walk on.

Jade nods, kisses back, and watches them leave. She had been waiting to get invited along, even though she still would have insisted they go without her. But she would have said what she did anyways.

Family WAS important to keep together.

She sighs and heads back towards her meditation area.

There was something in the way that Jade moved that indicated some sadness on Jade's part. It was almost as if she reluctant to see them go.

"Dad, can we extend the invitation?" Amarie ask cautiously, watching as Jade began to walk away.

Kamon scratched the side of his head and shrugged.

"That's up to you, angel. If you would like her toe come then go ahead and ask her. I wouldn't mind her coming along at all. I didn't ask because I was unsure about how you would feel if I did."

Letting go of her hand, he motioned her forward.

"Go on."

"She looked so sad to me, and I don't like to see sad people." Amarie mumured, shrugging her shoulders.

Giving her father a nod, Amarie darted away, looking for Jade, wondering where she had gotten to in so short a time.

"Heeeey, wait!" Amarie shouted, hoping that Jade would hear her and stop long enough for the girl to catch up.

Jade heard a girl's voice behind her and stops, seeing Amarie running to catch up with her.

"What it is, Amarie?

I mean, what can I help you with before your trip?"

"Could you join us instead?" Amarie asked, surprised that she would imediately bring up the question instead of taking forever to get to the point.

"That is, if you wanna go."

Kamon just smiled with his arms crossed from a distance. She could get along with Jade if they got married. He knew that from how she was acting right then. If that ever happened, she would definately be ready.

"Good girl," he whispered to himself.

Jade was about ready to decline, but she saw how much Amarie wanted her to join them. She looked back at Kamon, blows air up her face to move her bangs, looks at the sun while one fang pokes her lowwer lip, then nods.

"Alright. If thats what you really want."

She walks back to Kamon with Amarie.

"Thank you, but you didnt have to ask me to join you. Its important for you two to spend time alone."
