Amarie layed her head on her father's lap, his presence a consoling comfort that she couldn't get by surrounding herself by a virtual white-noise in the force by wandering the marketplace.
Her own father's words expressed the very thing she was dealing with: the fact that something was missing, and she so despretly wished to be whole again.
"I....never stopped .... missing her." Amarie managed to reply, her words broken up by her own sniffles, barely keeping back her own tears.

He rubbed his daughters face with the back of his hand lightly.
"It took a long time for me to get over her too..and it didn't fully work. I still miss her some."
He lifted her into his arms and held her to him with her face on his shoulder. She was still rather light considering her age. Most kids her age weighed more than she did. Kamon assumed it was because of her training. He rubbed her back lightly.
"I'm still here for oyu though, angel. Always will be."

Amarie smothered her face into her father's chest as he held onto her. She just wanted to shut out all the bad things running through her mind, and be happy again.
That was all she wanted, it was all she ever dreamed about, and yet could never seem to reach.
"I don't think I could handle losing you too." Amarie told him, her voice muffled from still being burried in her father's chest.

He kissed the top of her head lightly as he rubbed her back.
"You won't lose me. I'll make sure you don't just the way I make sure I don't lose you and Andreas. If I lost you two I wouldn't be able to go on."
She felt like air in his arms and it made him afraid. It took a lot to make Kamon afraid, but the possibility that he might some day lose his son and daughter was enough to scare him greatly.
"Don't you leave me anytime soon."

Amarie looked up, hearing say that he wouldn't be able to continue on the way he was without them.
"I wasn't planning on leaving any time soon, dad. Not unless it's okay for me to."

"Not right now. When you're older yes, but not right now. Cole is still training you, and you're only eight. That's to young."
He smiled at her.
"Besides, why would you want to leave me?"

"I don't want to leave. Not yet anyways. Besides, I still got a lot of training and growing up to do!" Amarie instantly replied, giggling.
"Who would want to be an eight-year-old grown up anyways?"

Kamon laughed.
"You couldn't. That's impossible. And if you tried you'd fail. No one would treat you like an adult."
He smiled at her.
"Besides, you'd come back cuz you'd miss me."

"That's right! I'd miss you too much!" Amarie giggled, giving him a hug.
"Besides, being an adult at my age would be borring."

Kamon smiled.
"Why? Because you don't know enough of the Force?"
He kissed her forehead.
"It's not really that bad. When you get older you'll understand a lot better."
