"While we're waiting for me to grow up, what do we do then?" Amarie asked, looking upwards at his eyes, a smile upon her face.

Kamon smiled.
"I was thinking we should go on a vacation. Andreas seems preoccupied with whatever it is he's up to so I doubt he'd want to go. So, it'd be just you and I."
He looked into her eyes.
"Sound good?"

Amarie's eyes instantly widened at the mention of a vacation. She never honestly could say that she had been one, for her past experiences usually ended up as doing good deeds for one person or another. A real rest never really lasted that long, for there was always someone crying out for help.
Not that she minded it, though. Amarie already knew that such things were a part of either the government life, or that of the Jedi. Bad things happened all the time, it just was the way things were.
"That does sound good." Amarie smiled.

Kamon smiled.
"I hoped it would. I'm glad you'd like to spend some time with me."
He picked her up as he stood up. Spinning her through the air, he then gently set her down. Smiling at her, he thought of a way to play with her. Giving her a wink, he spoke.
"Bet you can't catch me."
He took off at a slow run at first. Knowing she knew how to Force run from Cole, he prepared to do the same as soonas she started to.

"What?" Amarie asked, hearing the challenge escaping his lips, then she she giggled.
"Oooooh yeah? We'll just see about that!" she shouted, taking chase after him.

He ran rather slowly at first. Her smaller legs couldn't keep up with his pace if he was actually running. There would be an unfair advantage in his favor if he ran full speed. Instead, he ran half speed, more of a jog, away from her, watching her over his shoulder.
"Come on, you can run faster than that!"

Amarie smirked, noticing that he wasn't running at full speed, as if teasing her to speed up, his words confirming it.
"Neither are you!" she easily replied with a laugh, quickening her pace. If her dad stayed at his own pace, she was extremely tempted to pounce on him, for it served him right for going so slow.

He sped up, but only enough to keep out of her reach.
"Come on slowpoke! Give it all you've got!"
Laughing, he turned his head so he could watch her instead of where he was running. Tripping over a rock, he was sent tumbling the rest of the way down the hill and into the large patch of rocks below where he came to a rest.

"Me slowpoke? I'll show you who the slowpoke is!" Amarie laughed, going ever faster.
She was tempted to cheat a little bit, but saw him trip over a rock, with her comming to a sudden stop as she reached the top of the hill. To her own surprise, he rolled to a sudden stop near another batch of rocks near the bottom.
"DADDY!" Amarie shouted, her grin dieing from face, and her laughter quickly forgotten as she carefully made her way down the hill where her her own father lay.
"Daddy?" Amarie whispered shakily, shaking one of his shoulders. Damn her luck! First her mom, now this! Good Force, not this!

Kamon groaned as she shook his shoulder.
"Oww. Stop, that hurts."
The back of his skull hurt to. When he reached back with his good arm, he felt blood on his neck. There was a rather sharp rock there pointing into his neck a little bit.
"Sithspawn. I should have been paying attention to what I was doing."
Kamon had a weakness. A weakness that sometime would prove to be his downfall. He couldn't heal himself with the Force. And not to help that, he was allergic to bacta. So if he was to heal his body had to do it himself, or he had to have someone else do it. But Amarie couldn't do it.
"I can't heal myself, Amarie. You know that, remember. And I'm bleeding from the base of my neck. If I move it won't be good."
