Consisting of twelve Cobra-Omega soldiers, two Jedi Masters, and one former NRI Operative, Gash's group was fairly imposing. All rushed across the landscape of that small jungle in which they'd landed, several miles out from Otah Gunga. Kasien, despite being in superb shape, found himself falling behind the insane pace set by the Jedi and the droids. By the time they'd been running ten minutes, Gash and the others were out of site, and Kasien was left running for his life, drenched in sweat.
"Guys?" He panted, hand on his chest. "Fu
cking Jedi..." Finally, ahead of him, was the clearing. It'd probably be cooler out there -- and easier to find Gash, wherever he was off to. With a crash, he burst through the foliage --
And right into one of the Cobra-Omega Battledroids. It swivled its beaked head at him without turning. "Watch where you're going," It muttered derisively, then turning away. Kasien could've sworn it said "Clumsy human idiot," under its breath as it did so. The droids, all twelve taller than he, obscured his view, so he began pushing to the front of the pack. What was that he felt on his cheek -- heat --!?
"Oh, god." He said, finally reaching the front, where Gash and Slavatio stood motionless. "Oh, sh
it." It was the gungan city. And it was burning. Broken glass and charred remnants of structures, still smouldering from what must have been a mighty blast, had floated to the top of the lake which housed it. Gungans, many, many wounded, were crawling to the shore.
The fire of the burning, once-magestic underwter city was reflected in Gash's red-pupiled eyes, as he stared at the ravaged ruin of the city. He turned to the droids, and Kasien. "There are going to be fights, today, that you can't be a part of. Fights that will tear you apart." He paused, looking back at the city. "Put out those flames, help the wounded. Kasien, you're in command of the squad."
He turned away. "Don't go in the Jedi Academy. One of my old... friends, is there." He put his arm commlink slowly to his mouth. "
Hermes, this is Jiren. Requesting reinforcements for immediate medical assisstance. Fifty troops. Bring medical supplies."
Were the fires in the city, or in his eyes?

"You sense them?" Gash asked, even as he and Slavatio ran towards the thing of which he spoke.
"Yes," The other Jedi Master replied. "Nothing we can't handle."
"Nothing at all," Gash nodded, and the two sped towards the inferior Sith with all the speed available to them, covering ground which even most Jedi would find unbelievable. Across the clearing surrounding Otah Gunga, into the forest, through the dense foliage... and into the clearing in which the Jedi stood.
The three Jedi -- which a combination of memory and intuition labeled in Gash's mind as Cole, Kenshin, and Ky-Vin -- seemed ragged from extended battle, though Cole appeared relatively fresh. The leader of the Sith seemed to be Lupercus, who, though clearly having fought for some time, appeared as arrogant as any Sith Gash had ever seen, himself included. And then, there was Malice -- his old friend Malice.
Both of Gash's lightsabers ignited -- one white, one red -- and hung loosely in his hands, dangling at his waist. Slavatio's lightsaber did the same. "Oh, I beg to differ, Mister Darksword. I think that playtime has only just begun."
He chuckled slightly, looking at the Jedi for a moment. "I'm sure you know who I am. And I'm sure I wasn't expected -- but, these things happen. I understand that this is a real glitch in your plan, but, you've got to role with the punches, eh?
"Now, then, you've got one hell of a choice to make here, Darksword. You see, suddenly you're not quite so imposing. Five Jedi, against a few Sith? And, really, when you add up all your brain cells, you've only got one Sith, at the most, anyway. So. What'll it be? Fight, and be carried away in a body bag along with your friends, or leave Theed and never, ever return?
"Fair warning, Darksword. Because this time, once you go down, you will
not be getting back up."
He looked briefly at Slavatio. "Open your mind," He muttered quietly, out of earshot of Lupercus. "We work as one."
