Catch this...

The saber that had been pointing at Perrin flicked back into a defensive position just as he let his own saber fly.

The saber sliced through the air end over end, the arc of it's flight path would bring it straight at her head.

"No..." She said softly, her body and mind drifting into a sudden calmness... the calmness of a Jedi.

Time seemed to slow to a halt for Leia as she watched the saber slice through the air, on a collision course with her head. She studied the arc of it's flight path, and the arc of it's axial rotation.

In order to stop Perrin's saber from beheading her, she would have to use both of her own sabers to halt both it's axial rotation and it's forward momentum.

Her timing precise down to the last millisecond as only a Force adept could be, Leia surged forward to meet the flying saber precisely as during one of it's rotations, it reached a vertical position with the tip of the blade pointing towards the ceiling. Leia knew she was cutting it close, but there was no time to change her mind now.

The saber in her right hand flicked up above her head to strike the tip of Perrin's saber, simultaneously the saber in her left hand struck Perrin's saber on the blade, just above the hilt.

It's momentum completely halted, the saber simply dropped to the floor, the butt end of it's hilt striking the tile with a loud clang. It bounced once, and then fell on it's side and rolled away from Leia, whose attention had turned back to Perrin. He had grabbed hold of some pipe... he wasn't very far away from her.

She doubted that anything good could come of that. She began to advance on him at a regular walking pace, one saber held forward in an attacking position and the other held back in defense.

"I wouldn't touch that if I were you. And you know, coming into the home of the Jedi all by your lonesome wasn't very wise, either."

The force...

Zeta had arrived on the planet of Yavin 4 hours ago, dragging Han's lifeless body with him, the book safely tucked under his arm. Everything easily going as he had planned, except...

...something was amiss....

He had this "feeling"...Like he was being watched.

He walked slower than usual, more alert.

Zeta would make sure Han regretted his rebirth, simply because of all the trouble he was causing the Zabrak.

In the distance, he could see it, the temple. The Sith had come this far, he would move to hell and back to see that his goals were met, no matter the price.

No one would stop him.

OOC: My apologies for the delayed reply, school has started up for me once more and my new classes take up more time than I thought they would.

IC:

At the Sith's words, Kahn's expressions hardened, his blue eyes flashing slightly. He didn't need to feel the slight shift in the Light Side flowing through him to realize instantly that the Sith's presence, combined with recent events, was causing him to be more susceptible to anger and fear.

Taking a deep breath, the Jedi Master exhaled slowly, letting the emotion run through him without causing further damage. He was about to respond to the Dark Sider when he 'heard' Amalia's message through the Force.

Her words comforted him, but he was also shaken by how...weak...she had felt. As though something worse had happened in the short span of time that she had been asleep.

Unfortunately, preoccupied as he was, he was unable to stop her departure or respond. Making himself concentrate on the situation at hand, knowing that he had to deal with the Sith first, Kahn made the mental note of where his saber was, should he need it.

All of this took mere seconds, and Kahn's gaze was firm as he spoke aloud, alert and focused now.

"I have only one Master, and rest assured that it is not you."

He was careful to keep his tone even, though there was no mistaking the sharp edge to his words. The Light Side flowed through him more easily, and his muscles were tense, ready to move at a moment's notice.

Ky-Vin had followed Kenshin out of the archives and through the Academy. They came to the entrance in a few moments.

They came out of the Academy to see a battle between the Jedi and Sith. Some of their comrades seemed to be wounded.

Ky-Vin's lightsaber was up in an instant, its green blade hummed to life.
Ky-Vin drew upon the power of the Force. He could feel the presence of his friends, and his opponents. They would draw strength from each other's peace and control.

"Let him go," Ky-Vin said confidently.

Let him go.

Lupercus snarled as another Jedi approached. This was the fourth he had to fight today, not including Vonta, who for all intensive purposes was, in his mind, nothing but a poser with a glowstick. His eyes looked up to meet that of another, and by his posture Lupercus could tell his was another padawan. Lupercus' sensed agreed with him as they caught up with his eyes, and Lupercus let out another roar.

"Dammit! Send us some real meat! These apertisers are getting worse and worse by the minute."

Lupercus let the Skywalkers hands go, his arms falling to his sides at an unnatural angle, the lightsabre falling to the ground nearby.

"Please tell me you're here to say that someone of import is coming?"

A *snap-hiss* could be heard from behind Ky-Vin as Kenshin stepped out from the shadows of the doorway to the side of his fellow padawan. His sky-blue bladed lightsaber hummed as he observed the damage done.

He noticed Logray near a the base of a tree and Jordan on the ground near him. The ewok seemed to be knocked out while Jordan was in great pain.

There also was another young man, one of untrained ability. He was in a crumpled heap on the ground, his arms broken.

Kenshin returned his gaze to the Sith, his mind and body prepared to do battle.

Ky-Vin held his ground, his expression like stone.
"Oh, I'm sure Master Organa-Solo will be here momentarily, once she's finished dealing with your little buddy back there," Ky-Vin replied cooly.
"Save yourself the trouble, before she or one of the other Jedi Masters returns. Give up now and you won't get hurt."

Jordan saw Kenshin and Ky-Vin come out of the Academy. That brought some relief to Jordan but he couldn't feel too relieved because he was in the middle of a battle.

The one Sith was still slashing and cutting with his dagger. Jordan was still blocking and parrying with his lightsaber. This was going nowhere, and Jordan was getting very tired. He decided to call for help, "Kenshin, Ky-Vin, I need some help."

Jordan's call was weak, but he used the Force to help project the meaning of his call.

No one would stop him.

"Going to the temple, old friend? Like bloody hell you are, Zeta." Came a voice from behind the Sith, corpse in hand. "Like bloody hell."

Gash Jiren, still behind the Sith, smiled slightly. It seemed like a lifetime ago he'd fought Zeta in those forests; it seemed like a lifetime ago he'd seen any of his old enemies. The Zabrak stood stoicly in front of him, seemingly waiting for something. "Knew I was here, did you?" Gash laughed. "Come now, Zeta. A lone vessel landing on a world filled with Rogue Jedi and sensory equipment? What do you take me for? One of Leia's nimrod apprentices that are piddling about with your friends on Naboo?"

Gash laughed again, taking a few steps towards the still-turned Sith. "You know, I was a Sith, like you, once. A long time ago. A thousand lifetimes ago. Some say I was to be the greatest Sith; I once carried out the very same mission that the Sith striking Naboo carry out now. I once carried out the mission of resurrection that you are on even now." He looked down at the corpse that Zeta had been dragging. "One of my old students, I see. I trust, Han, that you can hear me?"

With a Force-assissted leap over Zeta's head, Gash cleared the Sith and landed on the other side of him, turning to finally face him eye-to-eye. He wore a cloak of sheer black over his Jedi garb -- a cloak larger than that of a Jedi, one which reached to his feet. The literal glow which once permeated his red eyes was gone, replaced by a cold determination, and his shiningly silver cybernetic replacements -- his right arm, his left leg, his left shoulder -- were plain to be seen. "Perhaps you'd like some help with this process, given my expertise in the area?" A pause. "No? Well, then. I'm afraid that I'm not going to be allowed to let you use that temple. You know, rules are rules, and I've prohibited my students from entering those buildings."

His flippant smile turned to a darker glower. "Certainly a Sith idiot enough to visit my world and a dead traitor are no more intelligent than one of my young students." His hands snaked down to his lightsabers -- his two lightsabers. Gash had fought with two weapons as a young Sith, but had abandoned that deadly technique when he'd become a Jedi. His grimace became deeper. "The galaxy thinks you're dead for a few months and the whole fucking thing goes to pot. I hope you're not too suprised to see me."

*Han's spirit did something imitating a grimace when he heard gash.*

"Frell...NOT NOW! It's so close! WHY did you have to choose to come back at this very moment you....you....." Han's spirit trailed off in what could be considered a stutter, and then he regained his "composure".

"Lord Zeta, you know what must be done. Remove the infidel and continue on."
