Lavality and her attacker kept up the fancy foot-work, constantly dodging each others attacks. This continud until the attacker suddenly cloaked and ran off, "What the...." Lavality said and gave chase but lost him when he made it to the hanger.

That was when she saw the destroyed fighter. "Shit... I hope Angela wasn't on board." she said worriedly before noticing Asri and several medics. She rushed over to find Angela laying on the ground with two missing legs and baddly beat up arm. "What the hell happeend to you?" she said while looking around.

"One of those cloaked figures decided he didn't want to play fair so he stuck a bomb on my fighter." Angela said between coughs. "I wonder if Lord Trazu found any..." Lavality wondered as the last peice of debris was lifted off of Angela, it was the peice that was crushed the bottom part of her legs. It was a gory sight to say the least. One of the medics brought over a stretcher and helped place Angela on it and then the medics along with the warriors began to make there way to the infirmary.

"Wonder if there are any more?" Lavality asked, more so to herself than anyone around her.

Trazu had been wondering that himself, but he sensed no further danger. So he went to find out what causalities they may have suffered and how any assassins there where. As he approached what used to be a fighter he saw that they had at least one serious causality. “Bastards.” He growled as he went over to see if he could provide any assistance.

“Trazu…you’re hurt…” Asri said when she saw the blaster wound on his shoulder.

“It’s nothing.” Trazu said, waving her off. “It’s on my non-sword arm so I can still fight if they decide to try again. How many did we kill?”

“I personally got three.” Asri said with a smile.

“That beats my two, but I assisted some warriors with the deaths of four others.”

“So that’s nine between us then.” Asri said. “And I’m sure Lavality got a few: that’s a bit more then the eight you claimed at the start.”

“Yes I know. That eight must have been the initial group, the rest must have come in later.”

“Lord Trazu.” A warrior said. “We counted thirteen bodies so far and one unconscious.”

“That means Lavality got four, beating both of us. Damn.” Asri said with a chuckle.

Sha’tor Rissonik says he believes Varcanna has captured one in the play room.” The warrior added.

“What!?” Trazu said, his eyes widening in fear. “One got to the kids?”

“I don’t believe he got a chance to harm them Lord Trazu.” The warrior said.

“Well I’m going to go see this for myself…” He growled as he ran back to the manor, Asri following.

Once he got to the manor and looked inside the playroom he relaxed, in fact he started laughing hysterically at the sight of the poor man. When the girls asked if they could keep him as he was such a good ‘doll’ he laughed even harder.

“Wouldn’t this be considered ‘cruel and unusual’ punishment Varca?” Asri asked.

“Considering what he was likely planning to do…no.” Varcanna said with a grin.

Lavality walked into the manor a few minute's later; her hands covered in Angela's blood as she had helped block the girls wound. She rested her back up against the wall and was about to wipe the sweet off her face when she noticed the blood and stopped; that was when a warrior handed her a towel. "Thank you." she said and used it to wipe the sweet off her face.

"I apologize for bringing the trouble; apperently they where after me. I got ambushed by a couple of them in the training room." Lavality said in a tired tone.

Else where Maskis was helping with the clearing when he noticed one of the assassins was still alive, despite having two his limbs cut off. "What shall we do with him?" He asked one of the warriors that he was with.

“From what I hear, we have two prisoners already.” The warrior said. “But no doubt Lavality would like as many as possible to interrogate.”

Off to one side they saw one of the other prisoners being led out of the manor itself and he was a sorry sight: not because of injury, but due to all the bows on his person, along with his now pink claws and the funny designs on the mans face. “Looks like that one suffered under the hands of Lord Trazu’s kids.” The warrior said with a chuckle.

Meanwhile Trazu and Asri were washing up. “What are we going to do with the prisoners?” Asri asked.

“Depends on what Lavality wants to do with them.” Trazu replied as he carefully cleaned the wound on his shoulder. “If I were her I would interrogate them. There’s a chance they would know where their ‘employer’ is and if so, we would have a chance to catch the guilty party. However, I suspect we had some retreat before we could get them all, so the ones responsible have likely left their base by now.”

“Still would be good knowledge.” Asri commented. “We may find clues about who did this.”

“I have a feeling we already know who did this.” Trazu muttered.

“The Miknaks?”

To that Trazu slowly nodded.

Eslewhere the warrior reassured Lavality. “No need to apologize madam.” He said. “Not even a Jedi can be certain of the future. Besides, they were fools to try to attack you here: they lost much more then they gained. Of our ranks only Lord Trazu was injured and his injury is very minor and I’m certain Angela will be back on her feet in no time despite her injuries.”

"Her leg's were crushed." Lavality said after lifting her head up and sighing. "The likely hood of her ever being able to walk again is low. But she is strong, you never really know." she said and pushed off the wall and walked toward Rissonik.

"Sha'tor Rissonik, I don't care what you do to them, hell, break a few legs or arms if you have to. But keep them alive so my officers can have something to work with." She said and turned to the one of the prisoners. "However, is it ok if I personally interrogate one of them? And is it ok if two of your warriors be present?" she said with a sly grin. While she was a Jedi; she really didn't like it when someone was gunning for her.

Else where Maskia was listening in. "Hmmmmmm......" he said and walked away.

The warrior that had been talking to Maskis narrowed his eyes suspiciously as Maskis walked away. A part of him wanted to follow him to make sure he didn’t get into any mischief, but he knew it would be best if he informed someone instead. It was Trazu and Asri he found first.

“My Lord.”

Trazu, who was sitting patiently as Asri bandaged his shoulder, looked up at the warrior. “Yes what is it?” He asked.

“I could just be being paranoid sir, but something’s not right with that one guy that came back with you guys.” The warrior replied.

“Maskis?” Asri said. “We haven’t seen much of him lately I know that much, what makes you suspicious about him?”

“He was listening in to Lavality’s conversation and I didn’t like the look in his eye when he walked off afterward.”

Asri took this in. “I did find it odd that he asked about why Lavality suddenly started acting so ‘mature’ and ‘serious’ earlier.” She said.

“I remember that.” Trazu said. “Should Lavality be informed of this, since he’s supposed to be one of her bodyguards?”

“That would be a good idea. He certainly hasn’t been acting very ‘bodyguard-like’ lately: he didn’t help at all with the attack! His manner is different then what it was back on Naboo.”

“Alright. I’ll go tell Lavality.” Trazu said as he flexed his newly bandaged shoulder. It was a little stiff, but since it was his non-fighting arm he wasn’t that worried about it.

“I’ll see about talking to Maskis.” Asri said. “We got along well while on Naboo, so maybe I can get him to slip up a bit.”

“Careful love.” Trazu warned. “If he’s turned against us, he could be dangerous.”

“Nothing I can’t handle.” Asri said with a confident smile.

Meanwhile Rissonik nodded in acceptance to Lavality’s request. “You have every right to interrogate them, ziss…you may be easier on them then what we would have done.” He grinned. “I will summon two warriors to accompany you.”

Just then Trazu approached. “Lavality, we believe something’s going on with Maskis. He’s been acting strange as of late.”

Upon hearing Trazu's statement Lavality turned toward her. "How 'strange' are we talking about?" she asked curiously.

Outside the grounds

Maskia sighed as he walked up toward the doors that lead outside. Behind him was a pile of debris from the fighter craft that had been destroyed, but that wasn't the only thing that was behind him.

The grounds here where mysteriously quiet, in fact, a first that no warriors where around. He flexed his hand before grabbing air and ripping something apart, a second later a person decloaked, he had this person in a head lock. "Well well; I thought Lavality was being spyed on. Let me guess, you have one in Sha'tor Rissonik's mansion as well right?" he said to the scared human.

“This is based on what I’ve been told and I do trust the source, but it seems he may know more then what he’s letting on. He also didn’t lift of a finger to help us during the fight from what I know.” Trazu said. The pupils in Trazu eyes suddenly narrowed as he sensed something.

“Father…semoeno is horo thut desn’t boleng…” He gave an apologetic glance to Lavality, whom he knew didn’t know Dosh let alone the Clan Dialect, but if he had said it in a language she understood the intruder would have been tipped off. He could only hope she caught on….

Meanwhile Asri was tracking where Maskis had disappeared to, asking warriors where they last saw him first then later started tracking him. She found him near the remains of the fighter and saw that he wasn’t alone. Well now, this is interesting. She thought as she crept closer, using the wreckage as cover so she could get a listen in.

Lavality blinked; while she was studying the language she didn't truly know what Trazu had just said but then again she was very tired.

Grounds, near gate

Maskis snarled and released the figure, only to reveal that it was an older female. "You have a mean grip." The female complained as she felt around her neck.

"I thought we had others here." Maskis said and folded his arms. "Now; mind telling your partner to leave Sha'tor Rissonik's mansion? Or shall I inform him that he has an intruder in there? Because trust me I don't he'll appriciate being spyed on."

The female grinned. "But then he'll wonder how you know; considering your blind in one eye." she said and Maskis looked surprised and turned away. "How... do you know?"

"Come on. Who do you think we are?" She said and walked past him; after a few seconds she nodded and turned back toward him. "Fine, I recalled my partner." she said.

Maskia nodded. "Good, now leave. You are making the situation a lot worse." he said.

"We are all trying to get rid of McGan." The female said. "Yet you haven't told Lavality how much you actually know, or that he had connections to Besk and autonomously paid him a large sum of money for Asri's DN-" She said before Maskis grabbed her throat. "Thats... Lady Asri to you." he snarled and she nodded. "R-R-R-ight.. L.... Lady Asri...." she said before Maskis released his grip.

She said and rubbed her neck. "Now leave." he said and she nodded and used her spare cloaking device and soon vanished. "God.... more bad news for Lady Asri." he said with a heavy sigh.

“It’s gone.” Trazu said. “Funny, it just left.” He noticed Lavality’s confused look so he felt it was safe to explain. “I sensed another presence in the manor, I couldn’t tell it was someone with ill intentions or not though.”

Asri snarled quietly to herself. Her assumptions had been right: Maskis was hiding something from them, though fortunately it was things that didn’t mark him as a traitor. Still, someone else keeping secrets from Lavality is bound to piss the girl off. What bothered her was this person’s new info on her father. It was puzzling in fact.

“Father wouldn’t have sold my DNA to anyone unless he was allowed to be involved in what they were using it for.” She announced, no doubt making Maskis jump. “Obviously he wasn’t involved with Lavality, so I find it hard to believe in your ‘informants’ claims.” She folded her arms and snarled slightly. “They only way I can see it happening is if it happened ‘after’ my father sold me to the lab. No doubt he would have insisted on getting paid first before telling them where to get my DNA.” She moved closer to Maskis. “Now that that’s cleared up…cough it up.” She tilted her head, a deadly serious look in her eyes. “By now I believe Lavality is through with people keeping things from her.”
