Lumier sighed and got up out of the chair and walked over toward the far wall. Lavality turned toward her and placed her arm on the chair. "What's wrong Admiral?" she asked.

"Something... isn't right..." Lumier said while rubbing her chin. "Back on Korribon; a shuttle managed to escape the hanger but was soon destroyed in orbit." She said and turned her head just slightly. "However I was told that no 'organic' residual was found on any of the recovered debris."

Lavality looked away from the admiral for a second. "If thats the case then no one was aboard that shuttle."

"But then how'd it launch? That shuttle had to of been launched from 'somewhere' and we had control of the control room!" Lumier said and turned back toward the admiral.

"Which means..." Maskis suddenly spoke up. "Is it possible he is still alive?" he asked before hearing Lumeir cough. "Not a 'he' or a 'she' ....." she said

"What are you saying?" Lavality said and got up from her seat and walked toward Lumier. "Are you telling me that this 'Miknak' is not just 'one' being?"

"Thats... exactly what I'm saying." Lumier said. "Before we left the base one of my tech's came to me and reported that they found something in the base's mainframe." She dug her hand into her pocket and pulled out a datapad; she handed the pad to Lavality who in turn snatched it away and looked at the screen.

On the screen was information related to a group known as 'Miknak'. As she scrolled down she realized that there where two trandoshas, one human and one wookiee listed under this group. "Four different people baring the same name?" Lavality said confusingly and placed the pad on the table. "Why wasn't I informed of this SOONER?!" She said and raised her voice toward Lumier who backed away. "B-because... I figured it was better to inform you while we where here talk-" she said before being slapped across the face.

“Oh Kazuk….” Trazu grumbled at the news, Asri echoing the same. “So we have three other main ‘leaders’ of this group to track down.”

Asri was glaring at Lumier. “This was not something to hold back, we should have been informed as soon as it was discovered. We could have thoroughly searched the airspace around Korribon immediately after the battle to track down where they went. Now the trail will be too cold to follow.”

“Asri’s right.” Rissonik said, a disappointed expression on his face. “This is a serious lack of judgment on your part.”

“What’s done is done.” Naosha said with a sigh. “We are basically at square one again and with more to do then what we thought. Do we know what these other ‘Miknaks’ look like?”

Trazu paused in reflection. “I think I know what the human one looks like.”
He said. “I had a brief tangle with him on Nar Shadda. Had a strong will I had noticed, so there’s a chance he could be a Force user.” He gave a description of the man to Lavality.

Lavality decided to ignore Lumier's lack of judgement this time around; as she figured due to the recent battle it might explain her actions. As she listened to Trazu's description she rubbed her chin slightly; "Colonel McGan." she said and sighed. "Well that certainly explains the security leaks." she sighed and shook her head.

"The head of Covert Operations; almost nothing get's past him." Lumier said. "It makes since now how they've been able to read our movements."

"Yep." Lavality said. "I've never seen this man before." Maskis said confusingly

Lavality shook her head and walked past Maskis and toward a potted plant that was sitting on a table. She touched one of the leaves and lifted it up. "You wouldn't," she stated, "McGan appears only when he wants to appear; he was present during the initial skirmish's between the old government here and our forces. He was also the one who informed me that our transport columb here had been destroyed."

"So then how we track him down?" Lumier asked. "Well, I do know that if he's not out on a mission he'll usually stay in or around headquarters."

Maskis smiled. "Then let's get over there and take him out." he said excitedly before Lavality turned and shook her head. "It's not THAT easy Maskis; you've never been to our head quarters before."

"Hell.. nor have I." Lumier groaned. "All I know is that it's suppose to be heavily guarded."

"By troops who are still loyal to me that is." Lavality grinned. "But we know where he is at. Right now we need to figure out where the other two are and further more - we need to free up your military a bit."

Maskis rubbed his chin a few times; deep in thought and curious as to what can be done. "Could Asri's father have been apart of this group?" He asked out of the blue.

“No.” Asri said almost immediately. “At least not directly. Besk preferred to work alone and on his own terms, but he has had connections and worked with ‘questionable’ groups in the past, like the Sykir Clan. If he were alive today he would no doubt be assisting the ‘Miknaks’, but he’s not, thank the Goddess, as he would have been as tough, if not tougher, to take out. It was sheer luck I was able to weaken him to the point where I could kill him myself.”

“Do you think he had any connections with the Miknaks before he died?” Rissonik asked.

“I am not certain.” Asri said. “But what I am certain of is that all his contacts here on Trandosha were killed by me before his own death. I believe I still have his datapad somewhere, so you can look through it to see if any off world connects could be linked to the Miknaks, but I wouldn’t count on it to be honest.”

“On the matter of our military, I believe I know you are referring to in regards to ‘freeing up’ military.” Rissonik said with a faint smile, which faded quickly. “To free him completely would require convincing Admiral Balik that he and his crew are fit for duty again. For that though, I think it would be best if you let us handle it, for if what Tiosk told me on how the order was given is correct, there’s something going on that’s more then what it appears.”

“I will go with whomever goes to talk to the Admiral.” Trazu said. “My abilities with the Force may shed some light on the mystery.”

“I agree. I don’t believe he knows you’re Force Sensitive son, so that will work in our favor. Plus you had a lot of ‘hands on’ with the Lavality, so you are more ‘in the know’ about her group and may be able to convince Balik a bit easier.”

"We'll need Tiosk if we are to get McGan." Lavality said. "The network is tight and difficult to get out of; but from what I've seen Tiosk pull he'll diffinantly be able to get through it. The problem is that he'll have to use one of our ships as the defense network isn't up-to-date on Trandoshan vessels." she said and looked away from the group. Not to mention the gunners behind those turrets are poor shots to begin with, but they don't need to know that.

Lumeir nodded. "Admiral, I think it's best we talk to Angela and see what she has to report." the Admiral said and Lavality nodded. "I think we should continue this later and think on what we have learned." With that Lavality and Lumier left the room. Maskis stayed behind and rubbed his chin. "Did anything happen while you were out? Because I swear Lavality seems to be more... mature.. and serious about this situation than she did before." Maskis said curiously

Asri looked a bit hesitant to reply, as she knew exactly why Lavality was acting the way she was. “She found out where she came from.” She replied finally. “That she’s a clone with my DNA in her.”

“That would mean she’s not really as old as she appears to be.” Naosha said.

“That’s correct. At most she’s only four years old, about the same length of time it has been since I was in that lab.”

“What a terrible burden to bare….”

“Indeed…” Rissonik added. “Makes me wonder why Angela told us first and not Lavality.”

“I have a feeling she’s about to find out why shortly.” Asri muttered.

Varcanna had just finished venting her frustrations and now was heading for the hanger to do more maintenance on one of her ships. Out of the corner of her eye she saw Lavality and Lumier exiting the manor. While she was eager to talk to Lumier again, she wasn’t so eager to see Lavality, whom just reminded her that Asri had a genetic offspring: even if it was through cloning. She had a funny feeling as well that Lavality was looking for her, so wanting to avoid a confrontation, she turned around and went back into the training area.

Angela had just got out of her fighter when she saw the two admirals approach. "Admiral, I didn't know you where here." she said. "We were in the neighborhood; what's your status?"

"She's all repaired and ready to fly; going to perform some last maintenance checks before heading back to the fleet, I hear there is a new fighter that just rolled off the assembly line." Angela smiled and twisted a bolt on the craft shut.

Lavality tapped her foot. "One of my men informed me that you informed Rissonik and Naosha about my DNA before coming to me right?"

"That is true; it's difficult to inform you when communications between our ships weren't working to begin with." Angela said and placed the wrench on the ground. "I was informed by carrier that the communications relay dish on Tissuss had been destroyed in an act of sabotage." She said and opened another panel. "Odds are whoever did this was trying to disrupt communications."

Lavality nodded. "I see; then I guess that does explain why I wasn't informed." she said and turned to Lumier. "can you get a hold of our base on Tissuss and figure out what has been going on?"

"Yes Ma'am." Lumier saluted and walked away. "So, what now ma'am?" Angela asked after closing said panel and opening up yet another one. "I need to talk to Lady Varcanna."

Angela stopped what she was doing and stared at the admiral; almost as if she wasn't even there. "From what I've learned that female trandoshan doesn't exactly like Asri."

"You think she knows that I have Asri's DNA in me?" Lavality asked and Angela nodded. "Oh yes..... I'm certain she knows."

"Which means she won't greet me with the same respect she does to everyone else." The teenage admiral sighed and looked away. "Her actions reflect upon those of the clan and of her people; she'll just have to realize that she'll need to change." with that Admiral turned and left the hanger bay. Angela sighed and went back to her work. How do you get a female trandoshan, who has hated Akisi's all her life, to change that instant."

Varcanna had resumed practicing, since she couldn’t work on her ship now that Lavality was spotted heading in that direction. She really wanted to do something more relaxing to her, like work on her ship, but she really wanted to avoid a confrontation right now. However she wasn’t going to get the peace she wanted here.

“Venting your frustrations that I came back?” Came a familiar voice.
Varcanna didn’t need to turn around to know who that was and right now she really felt she had to avoid looking at her.

“None of your business.” The crimson scaled female said stiffly. “Leave me alone.”

“Unfortunately Lavality wants to have a chat with you, so being alone won’t be much of an option in a few.”

Now she looked at her. Asri was leaning against the doorframe, looking smug and confident. She remembered when Asri first started living on the Clan grounds, how submissive she was to her. Varcanna only bullied her because it helped her keep back those feelings, but once the albino got the courage to stand up to her….

“And just what does she want to talk to me about?” Varcanna asked.

“I think you know.” Asri said. “So I suggest you analyze your position quickly, as it will reflect on the Clan, possibly determine the fate of our allegiance.”

She watched Asri leave, no doubt to tell Lavality where she was. With a heavy sigh she sat on the floor. In so little time, she had to decide to tell the lie or the truth. She had to determine which was the lesser of the two evils….

Meanwhile Asri met up with Lavality and she stopped her for a moment.
“Varcanna is still in the training room, but before you go in there I need to tell you something.” She said. “I just spoke with her and there was something in her eyes, something that suggests she doesn’t really hate me. It’s possible she’s only using the ‘akisi’ thing as a cover up for something deeper. What I couldn’t tell you….”

Lavality let out a sigh. "And why do I get this feeling it'll mean very important." she said and gestured to Asri. "If you want to attend go ahead, but thats up to you." she said before continueing her walk toward the training grounds. Lumier, however, stayed behind and didn't go with her; but instead turned and started making her way toward the hanger bay.

"Mind if I come in?" Lavality said with a curious bow from the door-way.

“I would only distract her.” Asri said, but followed anyway. However instead of going in, she stayed just out of sight behind the door. There was a chance Lavality could force the truth behind Varcanna’s behavior and she wanted to be there to hear it for herself.

Varcanna visibly flinched at her voice. “I have a feeling I don’t have much of a choice do I?” She replied.

It was too soon, she hadn’t made up her mind yet. Beside herself she started fidgeting and acting very nervous. “You…wanted to talk to me about something from what I hear.” She managed to force out.
