Dolash sunk his claws in deep and lifted himself further up the cliff face. His master was below and ready for the beast should it strike. He considered, just for a moment, going back and helping him. But no. He had recieved strict orders, he had to continue.
Lifting himself up further, he took a moment to think about his master's power over the creature. He had almost been able to feel the flow of energy towards the thing, and the feeling had both shocked and awed him. The wind picked up and whipped his cloak about him. Looking down he could barely see the cave mouth, and he thought he could see something going on, but he could not tell what.
Keep moving, he told himself.
(OOC: Sorry for the sparseness of the post, couldn't think of anything to say...)

(Sorry for being so scarce with posting.)
IC: Five minutes passed before the creature abandoned his cave again, only to set his sights onto Donovin once it came out of hiding. Letting out a loud ominous bellow the beast hastily made its way for Donovin.
Clearly feeling threatened, Donovin ignited his lightsaber; his blue blade quickly humming to life just as the creature got close enough to physically touch him. Before the creature could get a solid swipe at him, Donovin brought his lightsaber forward to strike across the furry beast's abdomen.
Every action after the blow toward the beast seemed to move in slow motion as Donovin rushed out of the creature's grasp, watching it out of the corner of his eye as the beast slowly stumbled and plummeted down the mountainside. Donovin barely made it past the animal before it started to go down, escaping just a few inches away from being swallowed underneath the white furred individual.
Wasting no time at lagging behind, he quickly made his way back up the rest of the mountain in pursuit of Dolash.
The beastly creature had been nothing compared to the challenge that would await them at the other side of the mountain.

Dolash was in awe as he continued to climb, after seeing his master's graceful battle-tactics. Azguards pride themselves on their physical fitness, but Dolash couldn't think of a single Azguard who could defeat his master in battle, not even High Lord Regrad.
The ascent continued for some time, and Dolash started to feel weak. THis was unusual, for back home there were mountains twice this size and four times as cold. He then realized that he felt drained from trying to use the force. Even little tasks like reshaping a hand-hold so it will accomidate his large hands seemed to take a toll from him.
He tried not to let this show to his master, but soon realized that as a Jedi he would notice anyways, and decided honesty would work better.
"Master" he cried, through the whipping winds "I am unsure I can climb the whole mountain. The force is taxing me greatly, and I feel dizzy..." He clung to the mountain again, maybe this wasn't such a good idea, maybe he wasn't cut out to be a Jedi...

Donvin allowed only a minor moment of rest as the Azguard acknowledged him.
They were both tired, but Donovin knew that if they did not continue on and find a place of shelter, they would either become ill or die. The weather conditions could only be resisted for so long.
Lean on your will, Padawan.
Cole's thoughts rang sharply within the Azguard's mind, urging him to continue on despite his own better judgment that told him that they both needed to rest.
We're not that far, Dolash. Each step brings you closer to the otherside.
Though the teacher encouraged the student there was still a lingering of hesitation that which he failed to show the Azguard.
He could sense something just at the top of the mountain, some source, a power source of some kind. He would check on this perplexity when they reached the top. if they reached the top.
He longed to not have to find himself or Dolash burrowing within the snow to stay alive.
He thought to himself.
Why do I have a bad feeling about this place? ...

The desperate climb continued, until Dolash felt there was no more hope for them. He had taxed what little powers over the force he had to their limits, and exhaustion was beginning to set in. But luckily, just as his grip weakened, he spied the top!
"Master" he cried "We're almost there!"
He could just see something at the top, although he did not know what.
He felt renewed vigor as he lifted himself up ever closer, whatever it was, it would provide cover from the cold weather, and that was definetly desireable. He squinted down at his master, who, despite his smaller frame and a body not originally designed for climbing, was catching up.
"Just a little further..."

He had only a few more steps to reach Dolash's position but Cole hesitated from his spot, removing his binoculars from within one of his hidden pockets of his garments.
It had been a while since Donovin had used his binoculars, never really having the need to use them much up until coming to Fest. Many of the items Donovin carried with him were of high caliber; his position within Intelligence of The Tholatin Republic demanded that he have such objects; his binoculars were no exception.
Looking out of the specs of his binoculars Donovin could see a structure of sorts, various streams of light protruded off of the building, from every direction, streams of light that could only be seen through sensory activated material.
Stepping through the invisible rays of red light would only trigger more sensory, the kind that Donovin was not willing to test out.
"Don't move, Dolash," he said, lowering his binoculars. Strapping the binoculars to him, Donovin marked the rest of the distance to the Azguard; as he reached the Jedi he spoke, glad to no longer have to shout.
"There's a force field that surrounds this structure, we'll have to find some way to bypass it, any ideas?"

Dolash frowned.
"Hm, I am not sure, master. Perhaps the force could be used? You know, to somehow push a hole through the shield? Or we could try and tunnel under it. Or there may be another way in from a different side."
His frown lengthened.
"I am not a technical person, master and so I am of little help when it comes to bypassing shields, however I wonder who's shields they are, and why they are active. Maybe we could knock and simply request entrance? I'm sure they would let us in."
He shivered, and brought his winter clothes tighter around him.
"Anything would be better then freezing to death out here."

Just as Cole turned to Dolash to answer, the force field shut down. Slowly Donovin's gaze drew away from the padawan and back onto the facility as he stretched out with the force.
They were not alone.
"Do you sense anything, Dolash?"

Dolash concentrated. An indiscernible flicker touched his mind, so faint yet there. If he concentrated harder the image sharpened...
There was something in the facility, as his master had implied, but what was beyond Dolash's reach. His powers were not strong enough to sense it exactly, but it was there, somewhere. He couldn't even tell if there were more then one, just a general glow of life from inside.
Slowly he got up.
"I can sense life inside, master. But I can not tell, what is inside? Can you tell if it is a friend or a foe? I desire greatly to get inside, before we freeze."
He reached back into his pack, and removed a blaster he had brought, in case of dangers he may encounter.
"Do you think I will be needing this?"

"I do not know yet."
He lied.
With his green eyes still studying the building, he motioned to the blaster with his left hand.
"Put that away, should you need it, your reflexes within the force will kick in and you'll snatch the weapon accordingly. For now.. keep it away."
Suddenly Donovin nodded his head lightly toward the left side of the facility.
"Look there," he whispered.
"Do you see the shadow?"
A small form of a shadow revealed itself in the midst of rushing its way across the snow.
Nightfall was close to settling in, it would become much colder soon.
