This, this being was a hasty one, thought Tobal. He seemed to have a handy supply of knives, and a fetish for killing fleeing people. With two more throwing motions the dark being threw another couple of blades, their vibrating edges slicing through flesh with ease. The Shadow frowned, while he pitied the people who had died, and the families who would be mourning this night, he was unable to stop the deaths.

Apparently the sound of the coins caught the other man's attention, and his wrath. With a quick motion he threw a blade at Tobal as well, and began to follow it up with a running slash with his sabre. The vibroblade flew swiftly toward its target, its humming blade threatening death.

The force enhances all senses, and bodily functions. One of the more basic functions is often christened as "force reflexes", meaning the unnatural quickness of a force sensitive being. Often what was contributed to being a reflex powered by the Force was simply something that came with the rigorous training and conditioning a Jedi went through. And other times, it truly was the Force.

Tobal had been raised in a society that relied upon natural quickness to survive; the Force was taboo to them, a sign of evil. Dodging an arrow meant a longer life; rolling with an expected blow or ducking an ax meant you lived another day. With a minute motion, moving no more than needed, the Tribal adjusted his head and allowed the vibroblade to fly harmlessly by. He heard it clatter to the pavement many meters behind him, its mission unsuccessful.

As the other man approached, following his thrown blade, Tobal opened himself to the Force. He allowed himself a microsecond to adjust; it was different with the Force flowing through you than when you simply tapped it occasionally. Time seemed to slow down, and Tobal's mind moved into melee combat mode. Before him, a charging man carrying a very deadly, and very unique weapon. "Shadows" of this man seemed to appear around him, mirror images of him and his weapon. They were what could happen, over a period of time each incorrect image would vanish, and the enemy would move to fill the last remaining ghosting. In one image the enemy was striking up, one he was striking low, in another duplication he spun and kicked instead of struck, in another he leapt over Tobal's head and tried to strike from behind. As microseconds passed, the mirror images vanished until only two remained: a blow to the legs, and a blow to the chest. The man chose the chest move, for the blow to the legs vanished from Tobal's sight.

As the Dark being swung at him in a cautious, testing way, Tobal allowed the Force to increase the speed of his movements slightly. Letting his legs drop out from under him, the Shadow fell to the pavement in a crouch as the humming lightsabre of his opponent flashing over his head in a blur. He continued the motion through, sliding to the side and letting his minute momentum carry him into a standing position. Turning, he looked back at the other man, and clinked the coins in his hand again.

(OOC: You are controlling my character, I would point out how, but I do not feel like it. But if you read over your post carefully, you will see that you had Janus do things that I did not.)

*Janus feared nothing. Unlike most sith, Janus did not let puny emotions get in his way, the only emotion he allowed was love, and on occasion, anger. Janus believed emotions were weakness, and didn't think he needed them.*

"Interesting tact."

*Janus shut his mind to his oponent, he would not allow his oponent to read anything from his mind. It bothered him a bit that he hadn't shut if off before the battle, but his name was not all that important. The light, though blinding, didn't bother him in the least. He felt the presence of the Jedi approaching, and before the man was within feet of him, Janus had levitated himself on top of a nearby building. The light returned to normal, and he watched the Jedi search below for him.*

*OOC: Ok so basicly you dodged... then dodged and now your behind me...ok*

Turning Noktu nodded in respect at the dodge... though his attacks weren't the best... the ease of the dodge did show that this Jedi was a worthy opponent. and hopefully worthy of the respect...

Bringing his blade around Noktu called the vibro blade to him... then called the 3 currently entrenched in the humans he had thrown them at... with the four vibroblades in hand he simply... through them into the air... and advanced on the Jedi... swinging at him cautiously.. then diving back in one fluid motion... his vibroblades just missing him by inches as they were hurled by the force at the Jedi.

Tobal continued to clink his cred coins in one hand as he watched the other man call his weapons to himself. What had the man said his name was? Darth, Notku? Darth?

One only called oneself 'Darth' if one believed oneself to be a Sith Lord, a ruler over other equally dark beings. Apparently this Darth had high hopes of status. He was hardly a Sith though, more of a misguided youngster with his fathers rifle than anything else.

Predictably Mr. Notku used the Force to handle all four vibroblades, holding them aloft slightly to the side of his body. The Force revealed several options the man was considering at the moment, a ghosting of his body appearing and shifted to different positions as Tobal's opponent ran through his methods. He apparently settled upon a feint move, and dove right in.

Tobal leapt back a meter, as Notku sprang forward and swung his sabre again, still cautiously. He missed, by a good distance, but it was obvious he had not been trying as hard as he could have. Tobal rotated his credit coins a few more times in his hand, the clink clink bringing almost a rhythm to this dance.

From the side of Notku all four vibroblades darted forward, propelled by the Force. They moved almost faster than the unaided eye could see, straight toward Tobal in an echelon shape. Once again allowing the Force to speed his motions, the Shadow dropped to the pavement and let the weapons pass overhead. One of the blades was positioned at knee height, forcing Tobal to almost go prone on the ground as it passed over.

The blades continued their flight for a few more meters, until two jammed themselves deeply into a stonewall and the other two fell again to the pavement, many meters behind the two combatants. Standing once again, Tobal tossed one of his cred coins a few inches into the air, and caught it. He continued to rotate them in his palm, letting the clink clink synchronize with his footsteps as he casually circled this ... Darth Notku.

Noktu sensed out at the Jedi who obviously viewed him with contempt..."control...control" he thought "he's baiting me...baiting me...I must control my anger..." as he watched the man the clinking of coins still could be heard...why am I afraid? Noktu thought... why?...why wont he attack?..." Noktu turned to the fleeing crowd and ran following after them pulling out his second blade as he did so... the scarlet and silver blades swung to the left and right as he ran into the crowd slashing his way through..."Follow me Jedi... lets see what you can do"

Running? This ... Sith ... was running? It was not an unexpected action, in fact, it was indeed what Tobal had been expecting. But, not this early; he was a weak one to break so soon.

Or had he not broken? Perhaps he was trying to lay some trap? Food for thought, thought best done while moving. Tobal pushed his legs down, connecting with the pavement below. Each foot propelled his body forward, increasing his speed. When he the optimum humanoid velocity he continued to increase his speed. The Force coursed through his veins like wildfire, and empowered his muscles to heights never before imagined. He caught up with the 'Sith' within seconds, the man was running through a crowd of people hacking wildly with his lightsabre's. Foolish, thought Tobal, foolish of this Sith to ensnare himself in a mass of frightened humanity. When he was ten meters behind the man, Tobal leapt. The Force powered jump launched his body over the wall of people Notku was hacking through, putting him on a landing vector of right over the Sith.

Or, right on top of him. Tobal crouched in the air as he began to fall down, tucking his feet close to his chest. A microsecond before he landed on top of Notku's shoulders, he punched his feet straight down, coming firmly in contact with the target's back. With the mass of confused humanity running screaming around him the Sith had no chance of detecting the Shadow, busy as he was hacking and running. The blow caught him square in the back, sending him tumbling forward onto the pavement.

The act of pushing his legs down had slowed Tobal's fall by a small amount, and had also shoved him forward. As Notku connected firmly with the ground, Tobal flew forward into a pile of people. It was an ungraceful landing, but it softened the fall. People screamed, and Tobal pulled himself into a kneeling position, still clinking his coins, looking for Notku through the mass of legs. The force of the kick, and subsequent connection with the pavement must have broken some facial bones in the other man's face at least.

(OOC: I took a little liberty with the amount of time spanned in this post, but it is all very conceivable. You turned to run when but a few meters from me, leaving yourself open to a counter-attack. Is it possible for you to post longer posts? )

*OOC: yes and no... I dont like to put too much detail since I wont get my Knight rank until I simpilfy my posts... I was told by Kas Katta they were too complicated to understand...*

He sensed the flying figure milliseconds before the hit, the legs came crashing into his back sending him flat into the pavement his face connecting with the street...the curse came from his lips loud as he rolled to the side then up to his feet... blood poured from his nose and dirt crusted his face and robe...

Throwing his cloak to the side Noktu reactivated his force activated sabers...his opponent was strong... very strong... fear sent a shiver down his spine as he watched him...he had countered his attacks, and had outrun him...but now he would die...

Raising his sabers, keeping one high one low, Noktu studied hisopponent then moved in... slashing like a pincer...preparing to slash back to defend his undefended stomach and chest...

He didn't spot his opponent right away, the people he had landed on where blocking his vision. But with an explosion of sound, and crackle of electricity, Tobal was immediately made aware of his enemy's position. A flickering of warning danced through his mind, and he leapt back from the crouching position he was in. Unfortunately, the confused mass of people behind him prevented his jump from moving him far.

Time seemed to slow; and Tobal saw two blades of light separate the body of a man before him. As the man fell, Notku came charging forward. His throbbing blades seemed to inch closer, and closer to his own chest in a very scissor like movement, a very deadly attack. In desperation, Tobal drew deep on the Force, and pushed outward. He didn't point his push in any particular direction; all he did was push, hard.

A shockwave of air erupted from his body, connecting solidly with everyone around him. All the civilians in the proximity of ten feet fell to the ground, flattened by the blow. His momentum from the desperate jump back had carried him into a leaning position against a civilian, and with that man down from the shockwave Tobal fell as well. The blades of his enemy swept over his head, had he been standing he would have been disemboweled.

Pushing one foot out in a high-powered snap kick, Tobal aimed for Notku's leg, the leg that was currently supporting most of his body weight. It would be near impossible to shif that leg at this point, and if he could connect the kneecap would shatter and his enemy would be helpless...

(OOC: I doubt he meant the length of your posts made them confusing, it's probably your use {or over use} of the '...' three periods. If you use them only for sentences that are supposed to "be left hanging" they'll work better, and your posts will be more concise. Try using just a standard period for 90% of the time you use the '...' and I'll bet your posts will be a lot more readable. Length is important here, longish posts are a lot more fun to read than long winded ones, or short ones.)

Noktu's momentum was nearly stopped with the push as he charged forward, but turned out to be just enough to carry him through, with his attack, as his blades slashed at the Jedi, things seemed to slow as the Jedi moved down dodging the blades completely, then as if he could see the future the Jedi's leg kicked out.

Noktu knew that he could not dodge it but if he let it connect totally he would be out, doing the only thing he could, he croached down so that the leg would smash into his upper leg muscle instead of the knee cap, in the same fluid motion he swung his blades back to defend himself and spit out at the Jedi as he collasped to the ground rolling to a stop not that far away.

There he ignored the pain, the force had to cover his pain. I must trust in the force he thought, it will protect him, then his moment of weakness was over and he stood high bringing his blades to bare again.

His foot connected in a solid blow, and Tobal smiled inwardly. It wasn't the bone-shattering crunch he had expected, but it was something. He could feel his opponent falling to the ground from the kick, the pain lancing up his leg was almost tangible to Tobal's mind.

Rolling to the side, and throwing his body backward, attempted to right himself. His feet came to be tucked under his body with the movement, and he stood. The other man, Notku, was scrambling to his feet himself, his lightsabre's coming up in a defensive stance.

Tobal had never seen anyone foolish enough to use two of the deadly weapons, it was an interesting technique to study. The incredible lightness of the weapon's cutting edge made one deadly enough, but two? He didn't know if using such meant the user was incredibly good, or just incredibly foolish. Incredibly good was ruled out, the first two attacks this 'Darth Notku' had made against him were not affirmative or given with authority, the mark of an experienced duelist. Incredibly foolish was also ruled out, the man had yet to kill himself on his own weapons. He was probably right in the middle somewhere, at the stage where he was sure of his skills, but yet unaware that his skills were not all that good.

For the first time, Tobal spoke to his opponent. His voice was soft, and had a rounded quality, as if Basic was not his first language.

"I would advise you to ... put your weapons down now..."

As he spoke, he put his hand into his shirt and withdrew his own lightsabre. The pale blue blade, almost transparent in full sunlight, flickered dimly now with the clouds overhead. A few more raindrops pattered down, wetting the two combatants. Holding the weapon in one hand, Tobal clinked his coins again in the other before returning them to his pocket. The sabre was weapon that require two hands for proper usage.
