Brothers vs Jedi Duo *Noktu-Janus vs Jedi Duo

"Glory? Glory my ass. We don't need a planet to have our own glory! Why does it matter to you what the other sith's have? You should only care about yourself, and only what effects you, if your point for bringing me here was to make the SITH look better, than I am as good as gone!"

*Janus hated this! Why should anyone care about the other sith? He became a sith for one purpose and one purpose only, himself! Why would it matter to his blood brother what the other sith are? In Janus' opinion, he only knew 3 sith who deserved to be glorified, one of which was himself!*

"Your just so full of yourself that you have no sense of loyalty to anyone, if its not glory you want, why dont you just be in it for yourself. If you weren't so full of yourself you'd see a much larger picture of the world, alone you cant do much, but with others you can acomplish great things."

"I am in this for myself Noktu. But honestly, do you think the other sith give a @#%$ about you or me? They don't, ever. Anything you do for 'the glory of the sith' just allows them to become fatter and higher, while you are all but forgotten. Anything you acomplish with the assistance of another sith is good, is ok, but in no way has any bearing on the 'glory of the sith'. Sith are without glory, they don't need it, nor should they want it."

He was almost asleep, drifting at that point of blissful half-awareness, when a small alarm went off inside his head. Seconds later, a commotion awoke his almost asleep mind to the fullest.

"Sir? Sir, wait a moment... Hey!"

It sounded like the waiter who had served him a moment before, and the tone in his voice indicated that someone was doing something he ought not to in a restaurant. This usually meant a man was mooning someone, or trying to seat himself...

Cocking his brimmed hat up a bit with one finger, Tobal squinted his right eye open and glanced a look. It was hard to see into the darkened café, but not impossible. Someone was pushing though, the waiter hot on his heels protesting.

Something about the man had a familiar tingle, a tingle Tobal had long ago learned to associate with that of another force user. Usually the tingle was accompanied by a shot of warning if the user was of darker inclinations than normal, it was not this time. However, he was unwilling to be caught off guard by any situation that arose. Allowing his hat to slide back over his forehead and into the position it had been in before he remained in his relaxed, sleeping like position. The scuffle stopped, from what he could hear.

What was that about? he wondered. One rarely met a force user at random in the galaxy; it was an occasion he had been warned against often at the Academy. He would rather not get involved in anything now, it was a beautiful day out.

"Oh well brother, lets just go, the Jedi are beginning to sense us nearby, lets make sure they find us so we can get some fighting eh? That should cheer you up..."

Walking down the hill Noktu continued hoping that Janus his brother followed him down, as he approached the town he smiled and activated his saber... "Well lets get this started!" he said and stepped into the street and started slashing as brakes could be heard screeching all around him.

"Sir. Sir! I'm going to have to ask you to wait for an open table!" a man exclaimed as Arix barged into the restaraunt. The Rogue Jedi turned to him, and waved his hand.

"I do not need to wait for an open table." Arix proclaimed. The man looked confused at first, and then a blank expression appeared upon his face.

"You don't need to wait for an open table." The man echoed absently. Arix waved his hand again.

"You'll get me some water now." he ordered. The man showed him to the bar, and smiled.

"I'll get you some water now." he said, and scrambled away.

Taking a look around, the Jedi took in fully the presence, locating the Force user immediatly. From the signature, he was definatly no Sith, but he didn't really seem like a Jedi. Dark Jedi? No, he was too peaceful looking. Definatly not a Rogue. Arix narrowed the list down to Jensaari and Shadow Jedi. The Jensaari were nearly extinct, and never showed in public, so he concluded that the Force user was a Shadow Jedi, though he only had an educated guess to work with.

A disturbance in the Force made it clear to Arix that the Sith had begun their work. The Rogue was now torn. You didn't see Force users everyday, and he had no idea whatever the other's intentions were, but he would need help in defeating the two Sith. For now that he was much closer, he could clearly seperate the two signatures. They were two he had never met before. He didn't have a whole lot of time, so he sighed and made his decision.

You, whoever, and whatever you are. he sent a message to Tobal, I'm sure you've sensed the two Sith in the city. I can't kill them both on my own. Care lending a hand?

Arix didn't wait for a reply. Hopefully, the Shadow Jedi was the cheery type, and would gladly lend a hand. While he didn't doubt his lightsaber abilities, for he had once been nicknamed "The Weapons Master" by some Padawans, he still did not think he was recovered enough to take on two fully trained Sith. As he left the restaraunt, he shot the Shadow Jedi a pleading look.

"Sir! Your water!" the man from not-to-long ago cried out, but Arix was already gone.

*Janus had split up from Noktu. He went directly toward where he sensed the Jedi. Apon closer inspection of their force auras, he discovered they were infact not Jedi. But they were close enough for him. As he approached he began to delve into their thoughts, since they had been careless enough not to shield their minds, they must not have thought to highly of Janus. One seemed rather reluctant to do anything, while the other seemed utterly eager for the fight. As he delved further, he caught the message.

You, whoever, and whatever you are. I'm sure you've sensed the two Sith in the city. I can't kill them both on my own. Care lending a hand?

*Janus had to smirk to himself, then he saw the man emerge from a nearby building. Janus spoke to the man as he approached.

"Even with his assistance, you wouldn't be able to kill me."

The sound waves from a slight rumbling of thunder washed over Tobal, and underneath his soft brimmed hat he frowned slightly. It had been such a beautiful day, was it now going to rain? To his right, he felt the unknown force user manipulate the mind of the waiter, causing the distressed man to fetch some water obligingly. Under his hat Tobal smiled slightly, strange how some of the more basic techniques were the ones used the most.

Another disturbance in the Force aroused his mind a bit, and under the hat his frown deepened. It felt like... like...

Slaughter.

He knew what slaughter was; he knew how it was done. Having once lived in a society where the strongest tribe was the tribe that flourished, he knew how the slaughter would play out.

Perturbed, he expanded his sphere of responsibility, flattening it and sending it out in a pulsing, flat disc. And he felt them. There were two, and they were undoubtedly evil. Not evil to the bone evil, like the demon being he had met during the Assault, but evil like a twisted youngster. Striving to please themselves, to become a respected being in a society that required respect be earned, they were over-eager. The over-eagerness led them to fall astray to the Dark Side. Some fell totally, some simply dabbled.

These, these were dabblers. Either that, or young fallen, not yet seasoned through time and dedication. Their brashness, their haughty arrogance, their pride in the 'skills' they wielded made them bloated and rash. It sickened the Shadow to the core. That someone would give in to the temptations, whole-heartedly leap into the darkness of the Force, it made him ill. One of them was coming closer, the other causing the disturbance Tobal felt so clearly.

You, whoever, and whatever you are, I'm sure you've sensed the two Sith in the city. I can't kill them both on my own. Care lending a hand?

Un-moving from the lounging position he was in, Tobal didn't respond at first. Obviously, this man intended to do something about these two in the streets. He was proactive, possessing an often-abused mentality. But, desperate situations require desperate, and often hasty actions. The killing was increasing; Tobal could feel the panic beginning to spread through the city. It was small still, but the Dark Being was growing more confident. People ran, screaming, and he killed them where they stood. Here, there, life signatures vanished from the Force.

The other was closer; he seemed to be seeking out this Jedi, either that or he sought Tobal. The Shadow could sense the Dark Being approaching, and the other Jedi moving out of the building. Suddenly, unexpectedly, a slimy dark sensation seemed to leave Tobal's vision. With an audible snarl the Shadow slapped the feeling away. Foolish, foolish to not guard oneself, he had let his guard down here, in the sun.
Now sitting up, his hat still leaning forward over his eyes, Tobal made his decision. Or, had there every really been a decision to make?

Aye

It was a simple message, sent covertly through the force to one person, that being the other Jedi.

Standing, Tobal adjusted his hat to a more normal position. It had cost him good money; he didn't intend to loose it. Several people, now settling down from the disturbance the Jedi had caused, glanced up at him. Startled expressions on their faces caused Tobal to stop his hand from withdrawing his sabre from his shirt. Instead, he exited the Café quietly, leaving a tip for the waiter on his table. The sunlight, only a moment ago bathing the outdoor seating area he had been in, was now blocked by what appeared to be the makings of a nasty downpour. The other Dark Being was causing confusion and agony a few blocks away; it would take but a minute to get there.

And it had been such a nice day.

He slashed again, this time at the left-arm of this victim before leaving him in agony missing one leg and an arm. Then he turned, he didn't kill for any reason anymore, he just killed, the more he did it the less he had to have a reason too, he just did it.

Noktu called out to a nearby mangled piece of wreckage and lifted it into the air before hurling it, with great power at oncoming troops, the jagged and mangled edges slamming into them and goring the, where they stood. The troops took a second to recover, but a second was all Noktu needed, before he was there saber in hand slashing at them at close range where their blasters would do them no good.

The longer they waited Noktu thought, the more they'll have to repair and recover from, I feel them sensing this, I know they know the pain that I am causing, they shall come soon. I feel it... but until then, I am on the hunt...

Arix wasn't even phased when the Sith revealed he had heard the Force conversation. The Rogue didn't really care. His battle shield was up, and Janus could not tell how he would attack until he did so. Everything else didn't matter to him. Janus could know all about his childhood, who his master was. What color eyes Gash Jiren's really were. None of that mattered. He believed too fully in his path to be converted, and his history did not reflect his battle plans.

"Stupid fool..." The Jedi muttered to himself, not really caring whether Janus heard the comment or not, "Always think they're the best..."

Arix knew that he had probably been a Jedi longer than the Sith had heard of the Force. Whether he had been active all during that time or not didn't matter. What mattered was he had not forgotten. And he was about to prove that to Janus, whether it cost the Sith's life or not. The Rogue had seen too much Sith carnage before to care whether killing them was the "merciful path". In his views, they didn't deserve it.

Twin sabers hummed to life, their light gray glow shining brightly, even in the sunlight. Spinning them around in arcs a couple times, Arix tested their balance in his hands. Perfect, as always. Arix was a Master of most forms as a result of years of lightsaber training and combat. His skills would once again be put to the test in the form of hopefully one, but probably two Sith. Depending on whether Tobal showed up.

Arix stood there, waiting for the Sith to make a move. He didn't really need to. As a Rogue Jedi, he could feel free to strike first, but the Jedi felt like playing off his opponent's mistakes today. It made the battle much more interesting...for him.
