Raven only offered a smile, and shrugged her shoulders.

There weren't too many around helping, so their options were rather limited.

<!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> Neith made her way down a few more floors to her awaiting skyspeeder. She was still angry with the premature explosion. Luckily she was on her decent before the detonator went off. All in all, the explosion did its duty - send a message to the Senator who lived in the upper floors of the building. Hired to terrorize Senator Lo'cham by his opposition in the Senate, Neith thought destroying his retreat apartment would be a good start. Not out to kill the Senator, she just needed to shake him up a bit. She knew making such a loud threat would get Lo'cham's attention.

Arriving at her speeder, she jumped in and started on her escape from the area. She needed to plan the next step in terrorizing the Senator.

Neith put some distance between her and the building. From here she could see the blast caved in a few floors. Also, it looked like a few people were up there.

The police droids were on there way as well......

There might have been more discussion between Kahn and the pilot, but Raven paid it no mind.

Her own eyes looked all about her, and the growing crowd of people who were starting to gather. Apparently, this was the one safe and stable location to escape from.

Escape? That single word had drawn her gaze skyward, just in time to see a skyspeeder quickly jetting out of her view.

"What are the odds that this explosion was meant to send someone a message?" Raven asked, frowning.

"Look, unles you two want to start explaining things to the large quantity of grouchy police droids, i reccomend we get the hell out of here and figure this out in a bit." He helped both of them into the speder before zipping off into the night. A police droid decided to investigate, but it lost track of them in the crowd of speeders zipping around the place.

"If this was meant to threaten or intimidate someon, then shouldn't we find out who lived or owned the place that just got turned into a work of modern art? I think its crackers, this being what you get for creating hives. No one respects anyone else, people blowing up each other's property, the entire galaxy going to hell in a handbasket..."

The Jedi Knight was only half-listening to John as he contemplated what Raven had suggested. It made sense; if you wanted to get a message across, what better way to do it? He realized that his trip to Coruscant might not be as uneventful as he had thought it would be.

"Excuse me, Mister..."

John: Sheridan. John Sheridan.

"Mr. Sheridan. Could you perhaps drop us off at the nearest public information building? I believe we can do a bit of research there to find out the circumstances surrounding the recent mishap."

Neith cruised out of the area to escape the commotion. What she needed now was a place to get away, but also hear the latest reports of the explosion and investigation.

Verring the skyspeeder down, she made her way to the seedier part of Coruscant. There she can hole herself up nicely, stay informed, and plan her next attack.

In a few moments, she arrived at a bar filled with all sorts of ruffians and social rejects. Usually this was the type of place she started a search. Patrons were usually long on valuable information when properly enticed.

Taking a seat in a booth, she ordered herself a drink. Just then her comlink blinked with an incoming message. It had to be from her employer.

"You have done well." The minihologram flickered the hooded figure. "I need you to contact the target the next time and let him know why he is being....persuaded. We need him to turn the tide to <!--EZCODE BOLD START--> our<!--EZCODE BOLD END--> favor in the Senate."

"I will do as you wish." She paused, then asked, "About my money.."

"Yes, you will be handsomely rewarded, <!--EZCODE ITALIC START--> when<!--EZCODE ITALIC END--> the vote is swayed."

She cocked a brow, but only said, "Understood."

"Excellent." And with that, the image flickered out.

Neith groaned as she hailed the bartender for a refill.

"Ahem, you realizxe that all the public information areas are closed at this hour. It is well on its way to midnight."
John brought the speeder down, landing near a bar. "If there is any public information to be found, this is the most likely source of information at this hour. I would think that it would be possible to track down a reason and a rhyme in a place such as this." John opened the side hatch for both of them, letting them out of the speeder.

"Of course, it appears to be the most logical location to try. Besides, if whoever started this whole ordeal didn't want to be found, they'd want to be as invisable as possible. Thank you for the suggestion, as well as the ride, Mr. Sheridan. Maybe there are others that need a lift out back at the building?" Raven agreed, smilling as she walked from the speeder.

Pausing before the entrance, her smile turned to a focused frown.

"We need to keep our eyes open, the one responsible could be anybody. Let's split up inside, and be cautious." Raven told him, quickly ducking inside.

Raven found herself a seat at the bar, and the alert bartender was present in front of her.

"You look like you've been through hell." the bartender commented, the Toydarian's wing's buzzing like a hummingbird's, offering a friendly smile.

"One of the risks involved in my line of work." Raven replied with smile, opening her robe to reveal her lighsaber, then closed it again," R'alla water, if you please sir."

The Toydarian gave a lopsided smile, and quickly poured her a glass, which Raven paid for with a credit coin, taking a sip of the water.

"You hear about that explosion that took place pretty close to here?" she heard the bartender ask, attempting to make a pleasant conversation with the jedi.

"That's the very reason why I look like hell. Got caught by some debree, and ended up with a headache and an annoying ringing in my ears which will probably last for the next few days. Did anybody of importance happen to live there, by any chance?" She asked him.

"Some Senator Lo'Cham..." he replied, the rest of his sentence stopping short because another customer was needing his attention.

Well, at least she knew one name, but there had to be more. Raven had a feeling that they were close. And this senator needed to be spoken to as well. There had to be a reason for this mess, for nothing happened by mere chance anymore.

The Jedi Knight had nodded in agreement with Raven's quick asessment of the situation. He was not used to working with other Jedi; generally, he was on his own in situations such as this. It was nice to know that there was someone else for him to communicate with about the situation.

Seeing that Raven had chosen to speak to the Toydarian bartender, Kahn took a seat in a booth. The Force told him that something wasn't right in the atmosphere...something other than the general run-of-the-mill scum.

Ordering a non-alchoholic drink from the droid server, the Jedi appeared to be staring aimlessly into space, while in fact he was scanning the area both with his eyes and with the Force. His gaze became fixed on a female humanoid being, who appeared to be finishing up a conversation with a hologram of someone. She put it away, seeming a bit unhappy. Signalling Raven via the Force, Kahn silently alerted her to the possibility that the woman might be of importance.

John walked quietly into the bar, his head down. He sat down in a corner, head down, trying to remember why this place was so familiar. He ordered his core mletdown as was standard, a bad habit he had picked up from Kyle. The serving droid took the order fetching it quickly from the back. He liked the Meltdown it was a good drink, good for seeing darkness and hitting your head after you had a few. YOu wouldn't feel the pain, much. John sipped it quietly, studying the patrons, quietly noting the armament of everyone in the room. He smirked as he saw the Jedi approach the heavily armed woman in the corner, nodding once to her politely as he sipped his drink.
